More and more places expect tips without caring about the customer or doing a good job. At a…read moredrive-thru, they ask for tips even though customers are already paying full price. On top of that, customers end up doing part of the work themselves just to eat the bagel, and the bagel was cold too. A few days ago, I asked for no ice, and they only filled the drink to the lower line. This time, this is what a "full price" drink looks like. Most places recommend adding ice because it saves the business money while giving customers less product from store bought without lookin at their ingredients. Thank goodness, You only have to give away one cup Businesses show their true colors when they care more about money than customer service. It's sad seeing how divided and heartless people have become. I won't be coming here again. Do better. TN Bagels are way better.

This is truly unbelievable. I ordered two bacon egg and cheese sandwich sandwiches. They were…read moreliterally smaller than a white castle. I thought I was being punked or something. There's no way that cost more than a dollar. It was so pathetic. There was nothing in the bag when I say nothing, I mean, literally a little piece of bread like I've never seen something like this in my life you look like it should've been on a kids menu for five and under what is disgrace how could you even serve this? To be clear this was in GREENVILLE, but I couldn't find that location on Yelp but I'm sure the sandwich is the same size in every store they're premade. I don't know how the sandwich could even be served. I'm sure the store knows it's a disgrace like no one could eat a sandwich that size you would need six of them minimum. I just decided not to go back to the store and yell my head off so I left the post instead.

Here's the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly on our experience:…read moreThe Good: Their coffee was delicious. I love the Spring menu which was very creative with many things we would love to try. The pistachio latte was so good. The Ube latte was good, but can't really taste the Ube flavor. Solid place for specialty coffee. We also had the strawberry banana smoothie, it was yum. The food and drinks came out pretty quickly and the servers were nice. The Bad: The place seems to be specialized in crepe, so we ordered the Mixed berries crepe, the strawberry with Nutella crepe, and the apple cinnamon crepe. While the cream inside was delicious, the crepe itself was cold which made it a little gummy and it was a bit too thick. The apple cinnamon crepe had a mixture of cooked and cut fresh apples but unfortunately the fresh chunks didn't mix well with the overall texture of the crepe so it was not great. If they had sliced the fresh apples or put them on the side, it would've been better. The Ugly: We had the Greek omelette which was not big and can't really taste the feta cheese. It came with a hash brown but it was probably heated up in a microwave instead of fried...it was dry and missing the crunch. The bread was cold that came with the omelette, it didn't came with butter either. Our experience was a letdown on food, but good place for coffee.

I realized after shopping here that they are at a new location due to Hurricane Helene. I'm unsure…read moreif their current location is permanent, but they are currently located at 311 NW US 25 70 HWY, Hot Springs, NC 28743. This was one of very few small businesses that had yet to reopen when we visited. So we wanted to stop in and show our support by buying some gifts and a cup of tea. Still in the process of reestablishing, their new space is coming along nicely. Lots of pretty jewelery, trinkets, crystals, various gifts and even a small selection of plants. It appears that multiple talented artisans sell their work here. I've wanted a Rose of Jericho for a long time, but had resisted buying one so far. There are reports that much of what is available on the market has been poached from wildlife. But when one of the owners noticed my interest in them, he told me how when they were finally allowed to come back after the hurricane, they opened the door to their flooded shop to see all the Rose Of Jerichos alive and floating in the water. "I knew right then that we were going to be ok." I was sold and will cherish mine, with this sentiment attached. I also bought myself a new little Pilea for my Fairy Garden, some beautiful earrings, and a handful of gifts for my loved ones. I snagged a hot tea as I paid for purchases and then used their clean restroom before we headed out into the wilderness for the day. This seems to be another favorite amongst the Appalachian Trail pack, and I can see why. Im looking forward to coming back later in the season and seeing their progress in rebuilding.
