Very nice Starbucks, located in the exclusive neighborhood of Polanco. After a few days here in Mexico City, I have to be reminded that if you want anything next to "drip" coffee here, just order "Americano" or ask for cafe de machina, which is machine based coffee---otherwise drip. LOL
This place was packed at 9:30 AM and we were fortunate enough to locate comfortable seating, although my husband and I didn't get a chance to sit near each other, no big deal. I sat near a woman taking an online English coarse, very cute.
The place is hoping along with plenty of baristas, as often is the case at most Starbucks anywhere. I will say that I stopped at other Starbucks in Mexico, and this seemed to be, at least of the three I visited the most organized and clean. It is true that unlike Starbucks back home, these tend to have different pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I was excited to have an egg and cheese sandwich with real chorizo, not that fake American so-called chorizo. read more
