This is perhaps the worst managed Starbucks in the entire country. In the 40 minutes I waited for a single iced drink, the employees ran around like chickens with their heads cut off and pushed out mobile order after mobile order, completely ignoring the cafe orders. At one point there must have been at least like 30 mobile orders sitting on the counter melting / the food cooling down (see picture). Needless to say, my order got lost and if it weren't for Heidi (who was working off the clock, I might add), I don't think I would have gotten it at all. Shoutout to Heidi, but the rest of y'all can do better. Recommend Dunkin, Kava, or Wake up Marco instead, which are all similarly priced and nearby! read more

Great Starbucks location located on the main road (Collier) in Marco island. We used our mobile app to order ahead and our two drinks and two sandwiches were ready to go upon our arrival. Employees were super friendly and had lots of energy early in the morning. The bathroom was very clean. Only negative was my breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese) had raw, fatty bacon on it. My husbands was cooked perfectly so I think it was just a fluke. read more

We've been to a lot of Starbucks over the years and we've learned that consistency isn't their strong suit. Even in our hometown we have 4 Starbucks within a short distance from our house and their now necessarily equal with one in particular we don't do to anymore. However this has to be one of the worst. My wife had a peppermint white chocolate mocha and I had a peppermint mocha. My first thought was mine tasted like an americano with peppermint and whipped cream. My wife's was equally bad. We ended up throwing both out. I have no idea how they could possibly mess both drinks up this badly. I am simply amazed at how horrible this Starbucks is on Marco Island! For a location, I used to go out of my way to try and get a good coffee. I now will go out of my way to avoid it all costs. Coffee shops are supposed to be places you can enjoy your beverage and maybe read or get work done. This one is extremely loud and the staff had no self awareness to keep distracting noise to a moderate level. I can understand normal noise - ice machine blending, coffee brewing, etc. But imagine having to take a work call while store employees are socializing/yelling at each other, and other employees dragging chairs along the floor and disrupting any customers present. I placed a mobile order for white chocolate mocha today and cinnamon dulce latte. My husbands white chocolate mocha tasted like a mocha and 1/3 of the drink was empty. He brought it back and the server told him it was WCM. He explained again it tastes like mocha. She dumped it out, made a nasty face then proceeded to RINSE HIS CUP out, like they were short on cups. He asked her if there was a shortage on cups and she then threw the cup away and got a fresh one. This associate is a disgrace to the company and needs customer service skills as well as retraining on how to make drinks. read more

This is a pretty good Starbucks location. I can't really complain because my mobile order is always right and ready 99% of the time I get there. I place a mobile order here practically everyday on my way to work, usually 10-15 minutes in advance of when I'll arrive so it gives the baristas plenty of time to get it ready. I don't like to be the customer who orders on the spot and makes the baristas feel rushed. Anyway... so aside from my mobile orders, I dinged a star for customer service. For the most part I get greeted if I go inside to pick up my order or the ladies will smile at me. The older ladies and the guys are the friendliest at this location! It's the younger girls working here that give me a bad vibe. They always look mean and annoyed to see me, and never say hi. And sometimes if I choose to pick up my mobile order in the drive thru, I feel like I have to struggle to get it. I park as close as I can to the window and it's like they are dangling my order out the window instead of reaching out and handing it to me, so I feel like they want me to struggle to reach for it. Regardless, though, most of my experiences here have been great and I will continue to order here. Just be careful if you're here during season because wait times can be pretty long and the customers get rowdy from waiting. Be patient! It's not Starbucks' fault all the snowbirds and vacationers bombard the place at once. read more

Disgusting. After supporting this company for 8 years I've come to realize that Starbucks has lost its quality. Store #26924 has AWFUL customer service. After getting the wrong order I kindly asked for my drink to be remade and the barista referred to me as an "as**ole" and proceeded to give me the same drink without remaking it. Alli the manager voided my transaction and didn't even offer to remake my drink. I let her know that her staff used profanity towards me and she did not even bother to apologize. Pretty mediocre Starbucks. Sometimes a cup of commercial, premium coffee hits the spot. This particular Starbucks is nothing special. They do have a drive-thru, but I prefer walking inside. When I did go inside, there were only a few people in front of me; however, it took way too long. Some of the staff knew the customers, and they were just chatting. When I did get served, the coffee was hot and fresh enough. Bottom line, there are better coffee shops on Marco Island like Wake Up Marco, which is just around the corner. read more

As a long time Starbucks customer who spends upwards of $350/mo on coffee and food from this company and has visited locations all around the world, this is hands down the WORST Starbucks location I have ever visited. The staff here is not only incompetent, but extremely rude and disrespectful to their customers. My bad experience started today when I placed a mobile order, like I do multiple times a week. I parked my car and walked up to the doors to pick it up. I have been doing this for the entire time I have been quarantined down here in Florida. Today the door was locked and a sign outside read (and I'm paraphrasing) " Please wait and a barista will call you when your order is ready". I thought this was strange that the door was locked, but just thought they are trying to stop people from congregating inside in the small area they have blocked off for pick-ups. So, I waited...and waited...and waited. After waiting a significant amount of time, almost 10 mins, I tried to get the attention of an employee inside. When I did, she gestured to me to go through the drive-thru. Frustrated, I pointed to the sign and she gestured again to drive around. This was HIGHLY aggravating, because there was NO signage stating that the pick-up window was closed and that all mobile orders were to be picked up through the drive-thru window. So, I drove through the drive-thru to pick up my order. A frazzled woman begrudgingly handed me my order, saying in a distressed tone, " sorry for making you go through the drive-thru, but we are short staffed". I responded calmly by saying, "maybe you should just put a sign on the door telling people that all mobile..." before I could even finish my sentence, the woman next to her and the one who gestured to me to drive up, piped into our conversation in a extremely nasty tone, pointing her finger, " maybe you should treat us with RESPECT"! Are you f-ing kidding me?!? How in any way was I disrespectful to them or her?? I'm the customer who was inconvenienced and had their time wasted because of their incompetence. I was simply trying to suggest a way to alleviate the confusion they were causing for other customers. If anything, this location and it's employees were extremely disrespectful to me and of my time, by not taking the 20 seconds it would require to write up a sign to direct me where I needed to go to pick up my order. This woman that got nasty with me is always working at this location. I constantly hear her complain to her fellow employees how she doesn't want work and wants to be home or about hating customers and how everyone are "assholes". I've never said anything before, because it was never directed at me or really my concern, but this woman needs to be fired for her overall attitude and treatment of customers. She is heavyset woman and wears a TON of garish makeup, so beware of her or just DONT go to this location. I'm not the only person who has had a bad experience with her or knows of her and about her attitude. I've talked to at least 5 people who say that she is just a nightmare. How is this woman allowed to talk to customers? How is this ok? I have contacted the Starbucks Corporate Offices to file a official complaint with the Disyrict Manager about this location and this specific employee. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 5 mins to the Starbucks off the island to get a better experience or beware of the wrath of this cranky miserable woman who hates her job and the customers she's serving! We went here on 3/28 at around 9:30am. We ordered an ice coffee, reg coffee a egg bites. The cashier was so rude! We were given the egg bites and reg coffee right away but after 30 mins I asked the barista if my ice coffee is almost ready and two employees looked at me and said " the sticker has not even printed" they were so rude that I walked back to the cashier to get a refund for the egg bites and iced coffee! The cashier was again very rude. The refund still has not posted with my credit card! We would NEVER recommend this store and the employees need to be reprimanded! Wow - Complete, utter chaos in the Starbucks at 11:15 AM on this Sunday 12/29/19. Placed a mobile order for 4 drinks and waited over 50 minutes with a line 5 people deep around the mobile order counter. When we arrived. Customers were very unhappy, numerous drinks came out incorrectly and after 50 minutes of waiting they finally said we lost a ton of mobile hoarders so whoever needs one come up to the counter and re-order?? When our drinks finally came out , two out of four of them were still wrong - you think the least they could do is give us a couple drink coupons and apologize but it seems they were just trying to maximize profits. read more

Since 5-star reviews seem to be suspect I'll give the new Starbucks on Marco a well deserved 4. The location is great no matter whether you are coming on the island or going off. And the drive thru has no equal on Marco, it is really spacious and easy and just plain nice. Even entering and exiting to the street Collier Blvd is easy - no matter which direction you are going. And the staff fell all over themselves with being helpful and nice. A grant addition to a beautiful island. read more

Hit and miss Starbucks location depending on the workers of the particular day. Usually I go to Wake up Marco but it closes around 4pm, so it leaves me no other choice but to go to Starbucks nearby. Don't get me wrong I do like Starbucks, however, as others mentioned some employees here are quiet unprofessional and seem to having such bad time working there. At some point you even feel sorry for them for having such torturing day. Drinks also depends on baristas who work at that time. For example, one time I had an excellent service with young lady who served me awesome green tea latte, however, other time I had worst experience with blonde guy who seemed to have worst time of his life taking my order and making my drink. read more

I have been coming to Marco Island as a snow birder for 10 yrs. I am a once or twice a day Starbucks customer on Marco and back home. I was looking forward to the new location for better parking and more room. It has been a huge disappointment . The staff is wonderful, but the design of the building is terrible. There is minimal inside seating, the seats are all crammed together with no personal privacy. The acoustic design is also terrible, the noise level is so high you can hardly talk. The outside seating could have been made much better with proper landscaping to buffer it from the busy road. It appears that someone took a standard strip mall store design and put it down on beautiful, unique Marco Island. All the long time regulars I have talked to as well as some of the staff agrees that this store design is very, very poor. Your local DM and Regional Director should be embarrassed. The tourists will still come and the money will still flow, but it could have been made a much better experience. read more
