Starbucks at Minories is in a good location, it is close to Underground, DLR and Railway services, while it is also the closest Starbucks store to the Tower of London, which is a couple of minutes away down the street.
The store is a decent size by London standards with limited seating, including some more comfortable seating around the back.
They did seem very short-staffed, due to one staff member taking a break, they only had one barista who was both taking orders and making the drinks, considering all the pressure that was under him, he deserves credit for providing great service and a good-tasting beverage. I did feel bad that he'd be put in the situation though, as he had too much work to do which isn't good for the customers or him.
I ordered my usual Venti Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte, which came to £4.60, again I always find this to be a little pricey, with Starbucks increasing the price year on year since 2019. My beverage tasted fine.
3* - Not a bad Starbucks location, even if the seating area was a little cramped, and the store did seem over-staffed. A good place to grab a coffee when visiting the Tower nearby. read more
