I avoid this Starbucks when possible for two reasons. One, this is the only Starbucks in Lompoc so the drive-thru line is always overflowing to the point that it blocks traffic. Two, once you brave the lines and wait 15-20 mins for a drink it is made incorrectly 60% of the time. This city needs another Starbucks to alleviate these issues. read more

Worst Starbucks ever! It is way too slow! Why even have a drive thru that takes more than 30 minutes to get a drink?! I always get an Americano so it tastes fine. Which isn't even on the menu along with half of the rest of their drinks. The menu is mostly all their food items, give me a break! read more

I visit Starbucks on a regular basis. I have lived all over the world and had Starbucks in numerous places. This Starbucks by far is one of the slowest in my two years living here. Many times I have ordered via the mobile app set in the parking lot and waited until the The mobile app says my drink should be ready then I walk in and still have to wait another 15 minutes in some cases. Last time I was here the barista gave me a free drink gift card because she remembered me from last time having to wait so long as well. It was a nice gesture but this seems to happen here to frequently.About 15 minutes ago I did this very thing and it is frustrating so from now on I think I will be going to the Lompoc Von's location they seem to be faster. read more

I have now been in line for 30 minutes. I come to this Starbucks because it is really my only option in Lompoc. The lines are short but the service is incredibly slow, they are often out of the ingredients to make several drinks. I wish I had another option or they would just work on their speed of service. I absolutely LOVE our Starbucks. They are so friendly and remember my order even at the drive through. As soon as I start my order they know how I am. This is a very good place to meet friends and its open 24 hrs. I've been to other Starbucks and I just think this place makes my drink JUST how I like it. Yes this is the only Starbucks in Lompoc but I still recommend it as the BEST coffee house in Lompoc especially given the fact that I drink TEA LOL.... read more

This is the worst Starbucks I've been to. When I walked in, there was no one at the register, but a line out the wazoo. Then, when I tried to order my drink, they said they couldn't make it, even thought they had a big promotional poster on their menu for it. The man at the register, Ernie, was quite obnoxious too. He was not only rude, but apparently could only describe everything as "delicious", which got annoying after about the 5th drink he called out. After waiting in line for almost 10 minutes just to order, my nerves were on end. I would not recommend this Starbucks to anyone. read more

Drive thru service is terrible! So slow and don't get your order correct! It will be a long time before I go to this Starbucks. I wish management would take notice! This place has really gone down hill. I was literally in line for 27min in the drive through and when we did finally get to the speaker no apology, just a "hi what can I get you" I don't recognize anyone anymore. The new recruits seem like they have no idea what they are doing. No personality. Not even a fake smile. There's no passion! I miss the old baristas. They knew how to make every customer feel as if they were a regular and were genuine about it. It's just sad now. read more

I came to this starbucks location everyday and i have never felt so uncomfortable. I am not picky about who makes my drinks but this barista service is below average.first off she is very rude and look like she hates her job. I ordered a White Mocha w/ Breve, when i got my drinks, it never taste similar. It was a regular mocha instead of white and with 1% milk. So I told her to remake it and she gave me the most disgusting looks on her face, and replied "This is what you orders"... Not only did this particular barista gave me an irritated attitude, she burned my bagels when i specifically asked for light toast. I also ordered three small vanilla bean scones, and she gave me a vanilla bean frappucino instead and of course when i told her about it, she wasn't haply and she was so inappropriate with me. it was easily one of my worst experiences. Several baristas from this location needs to be wiped out and replaced immediately. Although i love getting my coffee here, this barista attitude has caused me to think twice when i come back. read more

I feel like I'm constantly putting this place down, and tearing it apart every time I go there. There are a couple of Barista's that are just great, and they deserve 5 stars. However, the management doesn't seem to be doing the greatest job in training the newer kids. They're rude, and I was even personally insulted by one young man. A gal who had taken my order, misheard, and second asked when I drove up to the drive-thru... happy to correct her, the young man said with a laugh and a smile - "She's a RE-TARD" ---- Put his hand to his chest, crossed his eyes, and stuck his tounge out saying "Derr derr" - While I am not directly effected by someone who is intellectually impaired, I am of heart felt caring for all - I felt that incredibly offensive, and asked to speak to the manager on duty. I told her, and she apologized profusely - I still witness this kid saying rude things, on a normal basis. I don't understand. Any how- The drinks truly are hit and miss, and I usually request that a barista in particular make my drink ( Trenta Iced Coffe 15 pumps of classic & half and half - Sweet I know, but that's how I like them) - It seems like it's a pretty tough drink to manage for most though. I just wish I knew what happened to customer service being a priority these days. Especially because money has become such an issue for so many, so when they receive shoddy service, they're going to spend their hard -earned money else where. so before starbucks drive thru closed for construction i have such great times here every time at about 3 am in the drive thru the lady remembers my drink reminds me to use my gift card and has great convos with me and if i miss a day and go back the next day she always says i didn't see u yesterday which i love that because that is what makes friendly service i am very impressed and btw the drinks are amazing read more

This place is the WORST Starbucks I have ever been in! Two trips....two failures! The first trip, I walked in and ordered a Black Tea. The tea came out with no straw. So I walked to the area where all the sugar and everything was kept but there were no straws. I walked around and the employees looked at me like I was lost in the store. I finally walked up to the counter, reached over and grabbed a straw. I was rudely told not to reach back behind the counter. I informed the employee I was just getting a straw. She proceeded to tell me not to do that because she didn't want me accidentally touch other customers straws or lids. I looked at her and told I her that my hands were probably 20 times cleaner than hers and that if they didn't want people reaching back there, either give out the straws with the drinks or put them near the sugar. She said something under her breath. Two days later, I went back for another black tea. They handed it to me and it was almost as clear as water. I asked if it was black tea, thinking they may have gave me green tea by accident. She told me no and I told her it tasted like and looked like water. She copped an attitude with me and stated "WELL, I'll MAKE you another one". While she was doing this, the other kids working there were talking on their headsets and giggling. Like I didn't know who they were talking about. I got my tea and it looked EXACTLY like the first one. As they were looking at me, I just threw it in the trash and walked out. This place needs to learn how to operate like a Starbucks and like one of the other reviewers said below, they need some adult supervision! read more
