This starbuck's is by far the worst one on this side of town. I know to do a mobile order at least 15-20 minutes ahead of time because even when they are slow they still take a while to make your order. The store is sometimes clean and at other times a mess. Today it was a mess. We did not order food this time around as we were on the way to a birthday party. The staff is never welcoming or friendly. They never have a smile on their faces or seem like they want to be there. My first order was ready which was a venti frapp. My second order a venti pink drink with light ice and non dairy chocolate cold foam. I watched as my cup was on the counter and the barista was making drinks that were popping out of the machine first. I watched her make 4 drinks before I asked her nicely if my drink would be made soon and she gave me an attitude and said "mhm soon". After she handed off the drink she made to the drive thru she made a comment to the employee working the window who then looked at me and then proceeded to say something over the head set at which then the other employees all turned and looked at me. At that point I felt embarrassed and upset. I usually try to see the good in places and dont like leaving negative reviews. I always and give places a few chances. But this is like my 10th time I have had a bad experience here and after today I told my fiancé going foward I would rather go in the Smith's and place an order. The staff there has always been super friendly and helpful. Even if they only have 1 person working behind the counter. And the icing on the cake. My drink tasted like watered down chocolate milk had a ton of ice and no strawberry inclusions. read more

This Starbucks location consistently makes me the wrong drink. The number of times I have ordered a hot drink from the menu with no changes to the drink and have received either an iced drink or something different is inexcusable at this point. I have talked to store supervisors several times about the issue and there has been no change. The excuse I receive is that they get a lot of new team members. If I could give a 0 star review I would. This Starbucks has an employee working there ( who claims to be a shift supervisor/lead) that is very rude, argumentive, ignorant and very disrespectful. I came in to pick up an order yesterday and asked if it was ready, they said no so I waited. Mind you there is only one other customer in the store but no biggie I waited and I waited and i waited. All this time two baristas were chit chatting consistently and I thought to myself, they can't be making these drinks properly because some orders can be very specific but I didn't say anything, I just waited. Finally another customer walks in and they ask him what name he was waiting for like I hadn't been standing there for almost 15 min waiting. So I walked up and asked again about my drinks and they finally look and see the drinks have been made and had been sitting on there counter away from the other drinks. I told them this was so not cool because the drinks have been here the entire time I have been. The one barista apologized but the shift supervisor lady jumped into or conversation and said they were short staffed. Umm excuse short staffed?? There were at least 5 baristas working and only two customers. For her to try to defend the situation was beyond irritating but her attitude is what set it off for me. She was rude and didn't care that they had made a mistake and when I told her she had an attitude she just laughed in my face. Clearly no one has ever put her in her place or she wouldn't be so disrespectful especially to laugh in a customers face when she is the one who was in the wrong, crazy. Her and I went back and forth for a few minutes, again, to speak to a customer like this is absolutely insane and unacceptable. You work for Starbucks and you represent a company therefore your behavior reflects on Starbucks. The district manger should fire her and show an example to the other employees. Clearly she treats every customer this way as her own employees told her to stop while she was arguing with me. Not good behavior from a so called shift supervisor. Oh and once I figure out how to spell her name, trust me, this post will be updated. NOTE TO STARBUCKS, I WON'T BE LETTING THIS GO!!! There needs to be appropriate consequences for her actions. P.S. Drive thru was quick even with several vehicles in line, great customer service. Today there was a BOGO deal happening between 12-6pm buy one, get one. We wanted to try the new spring drinks. The lavender cream frapp was lightly sweet, my daughter said it tasted like a lavender bar of soap. I don't know when she has consumed lavender soap or any soap at that. I thought it was a very settle lavender flavor. The second drink we ordered was the Lavender Matcha with oat milk. It tasted just like milk there was no flavor of Lavender or Matcha to me the only thing sweet was the top which is the cold foam. This Starbucks location is off of the 95/Durango, within the Smith's Plaza. Parking can be relatively difficult during early morning and mid-evening. I ended up going to Starbucks on a Sunday afternoon, and there was no one in line. The drive-thru was relatively easy to get in. The menu was listed with the majority of Starbucks offerings, but make sure to ask the Starbucks team member if they have a item in-stock. The chocolate cake pops weren't listed on the drive-thru menu, but the team did have the cake pop flavors in stock. My daughter and I had ordered the following 1 Small hot chocolate 2 Chocolate Cake pops The order was ready immediately when we pulled up to pay. Ordered through the mobile app, was given someone else's order. I didn't realize I had the wrong order until I got home. I went back to get my order and was given coffee and breakfast sandwich that had been sitting there 30 minutes (from the time I ordered), both the sandwich and coffee were cold. I go here for convenience, it's the closest drive thru to my home. The baristas are always polite and fairly quick. I know they can't control the line, and at times when I have waited a long while, they have given me my drink for free. One down side of the drive thru is it goes through the parking lot, so sometimes people are trying to back out of a spot and the line of cars are in the way. Also, when the trash man comes, the cars in the drive thru are blocking him. So, something to consider. Inside the building, it's clean but small. I've had the pastries, cake pops and sandwiches. New to the neighborhood and was happy to see Starbucks was so close. The issue is that due to their management staffing issues, you have wait in a line outside to pickup your mobile order or go through the drive thru. They also are open 6:30am-1:45PM. Not being able to readily pick up a mobile order and having to wait for workers to place your order on a table is time consuming. I cannot recommend this location. If you have time constraints, such as being to work on time, then I'd recommend another location. read more

Used the drive thru for coffee this morning. Beware, if you've never been here the entrance for the drive thru is right at the bottom of the hill coming into the shopping plaza off of Durango. If you miss it, you're better off ordering inside because the parking design is pretty cruddy and tight. The person working the window was really nice but whoever was giving direction in the background, I'm assuming a manager, was extremely rude. We could hear the manager from our car saying "no, that's what they ordered. Don't take it back they touched it". No, actually, it wasn't what I ordered and we hadn't touched it yet. They wouldn't fix it while we waited, or easier yet just give me a cup of ice. She said "if they want it iced they have to pull in the front and it will be 5 or 6 minutes." Not only was their inside closed so I had to wait in the drive thru, they were out of all breakfast sandwiches except one, out of nearly every lunch sandwich, pumpkin loaf, pumpkin muffin, etc. every single thing I tried to order, they did not have. As I was joking around with the guy taking my order in the drive thru saying I should be compensated for the inconvenience since they were out of every single thing I tried to order. If I write this down on Yelp, I will have more conviction not to return to this Starbucks. I have had a love/hate relationship with this location for YEARS and now I think I`m finally done, especially since Starbucks customer service seems to be going down the drain and they are no longer willing to help curtail the issues or offer any compensation. I know, I know, it is Starbucks and this is a first world problem, but when I am paying $5-6 per drink, I expect a little bit more than haphazardly put together concoctions. This location continues to be one of the worst in terms of getting my order right and quality of food/drinks. The baristas are actually pretty nice overall, which is why I hate to stop coming here(and it is the closest Starbucks to my house), but my goodness, I cannot even with this location anymore. I ask for no whip and what happens? Whip, even when it says no whip on the cup. I ask for a cold brew and what happens? I get bitter tasting, bottom of the barrel coffee. Gross. I order a protein box and what happens? I get underdone bread and overdone eggs with a green ring around the yolk. I just cannot anymore. On top of the quality, I swear they have defective lids at this location because every one of my drinks in the last 6 months has leaked. It is really annoying. Coffee stains all over, y'all. My poor car. Why am I taking a stand now after 4 years? Well, it's because writing to Starbucks and voicing my concerns is no longer effective. They used to credit my account, at least, to offer to make it right and so that I can try again at another Starbucks(I tend to frequent 3 in my area), but now they are being increasingly flippant with their responses and have basically told me that I need to just go back to the store and have them fix it. Well, we are in the midst of a pandemic(which makes me feel like more of a jerk for complaining about this stuff), so waiting in a drive-thru that is 20 cars deep to get a redo is not happening right now. I find their attitude towards my issues to be honestly really crappy and they've definitely lost my business. There are other smaller coffee places that offer better quality that I can go to like The Human Bean. It is a further drive, but at this point, that isn`t a big deal. At least I would be getting my money's worth there. This is the end of a very long rant. To sum it up: This location sucks and corporate Starbucks also now sucks. Sad times. This place gets FIVE stars because this is the quickest drive in I have ever been to. I visit here frequently and I am always in and out in a jiffy. Unlike other locations, i rarely have time to open my Starbucks app and check in on Yelp. And the team members at the window are so peppy and warm. All Starbucks locations should model after this place because they have a great team taking care of business and patrons the way they should be taken care of. read more

How can you go wrong with Starbucks in general? I like the remodeling that they have done to this location. Service has always been great for me. The thing that is that the drinks are inconsistent. I only ever get one drink - iced caramel macchiato. And sometimes there's barely any caramel at all. For a drink that had "caramel" in the title, it should definitely taste like it. Sometimes my drink tastes mostly like milk, and sometimes the espresso is overwhelming. Bacon gouda sandwiches (although frozen) are so good! This is my go-to for a quick pick-me-up before work. Just an FYI- it's usually much quicker if you go inside. The drive-thru line was insane last time I was here, so I went inside. I was in and out in 2 minutes! read more

Awesome staff at this one! This is my new go to, since the one near my house have "issues" to resolve. It's so kool when you have a staff that attempts to remember your name as a repeat patron.
