I walked up to the register and ordered the coffee and for my son, I asked her to clean the blender due to his nut allergies. Before the cashier was able to mention it to the person making it, I noticed she already was in the process, I asked her if she throughly cleaned it due to nut allergies. She mentioned that no nuts go into the blender so I asked if they use almond milk? She said yes, so I asked her if she can throughly wash the blender. (I know they use a machine that sprays water up into the used blender but typically, they would deep wash it). It appeared as if she was annoyed by me asking. She did it but in my opinion reluctantly. This is why I keep a close eye in the food prep (when it is an open area) to ensure that people clean equipment due to cross contamination. Overall, it was cleaned and I felt safe giving my son his beverage. Other than the prep, the tastes of the beverages were good and satisfying.
