On this particular day, the community gathered for one of the World Cup games. It was very fun to witness. I've never thought to watch a game at a coffee shop EVER, but why not? Even passers by had to stop from across the street to try and catch a glimpse of the game. I made a very long journey for what some Yelpers claimed to be the best cannoli but it was the smallest thing I've ever seen! I guess that's a thing in MTL. Small or large. There was no option here, but another MTL bakery had that option. As opposed America where one size fits all --- XL always. Anyway, quite disappointing but tasted alright. I suppose it's hard to beat a cannoli from Boston's North End. The coffee was well made but wasn't worth the journey. Perhaps I just had such high hopes. Otherwise, a great coffee shop and would definitely stop by if I was in the area.

But you cant leave without trying a croissant or chocolatine. They melt in your mouth. If you stop by for breakfast you can get a made to order breafast sanwich on a croissant. The staff is very welcoming. They will take care of your order from start to finish no chain work here. There is plenty of place to eat on site and you can get lost in conversation with your best friend without worrying about being ask to leave. Well that is if you don't stay up to closing time. Which is the only downside of this place. They close at 6pm on week ends and 7 during the week. Wifi is available and there they put a few table outside when the weather is nice.

On every morning of our recent four-day visit to Montreal, we stopped here for breakfast. The wide range of croissants and other baked goods, both sweet and savory, made for some tough decisions, but the selections were unfailingly fresh and delicious. The staff was quick, kind, and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. If you need an excuse to stay in or visit NDG, here you have it! Highly recommended!
