The affogato was lovely with the espresso and gelato mixing it creates that lovely icy texture on the outside. It is more pricey so I'd say the safe crema is the way to go.

Panic mode. Thankfully, this place saved the day with its warm and inviting ambiance. We grabbed coffees and croissants, and the owner was quick and efficient, getting us sorted in no time. Even at that ungodly hour, there were already two locals and a dog chatting with the patron--always a good sign of a neighborhood favorite. Can't complain at all. We ordered the Remix which is authentic freddo expresso, cafe crema soft serve and topped off with hot frothed milk and chocolate. On this particular day, the community gathered for one of the World Cup games. It was very fun to witness. I've never thought to watch a game at a coffee shop EVER, but why not? I made a very long journey for what some Yelpers claimed to be the best cannoli but it was the smallest thing I've ever seen! I guess that's a thing in MTL. Small or large. There was no option here, but another MTL bakery had that option. As opposed America where one size fits all --- XL always. Anyway, quite disappointing but tasted alright. I suppose it's hard to beat a cannoli from Boston's North End. The coffee was well made but wasn't worth the journey. Perhaps I just had such high hopes. Otherwise, a great coffee shop and would definitely stop by if I was in the area.
