Today in particular was amazing because one of their staff went above and beyond. Bekah is a total rockstar. I ordered a skinny peppermint mocha but they were out of one particular part of that drink so she came up with another formula for me, even running the number of peppermint pumps by me, to get the same flavors. As if that wasn't enough, she also checked how to spell my name! Seems like a small thing but this is genuinely the first time I've had my name spelled correctly on a coffee cup. It was super exciting for me! Wishing I lived closer to this Starbucks so I could be a regular. Will be back next time I'm in Barrie and I need a great place to find consistently great drinks and an awesome workspace with the best staff.

However, it is far too small, and most times it's hard to find a seat. It's also remarkably busy for such a tiny store, and there's often a four- or five-person line at the drink counter. Pro tip: Drive the extra few kilometres down to Mapleview and visit the Starbucks in the big box plaza with Wal-Mart. It's huge, empty, and worth the trip.

I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte with an espresso shot and I substituted the milk for almond milk. The matcha itself was of high quality. It was earthy and nutty which was complemented by the almond milk. The espresso was rich and had citrus notes which I wasn't really fond of. I tend to like my coffee more with the bold and chocolatey notes. The service itself was okay. The two baristas took turns helping every customer. It seems like they have regulars visiting often. I liked how the male barista was very friendly to the customers. Seating is pretty limited, and you have to pay for parking if you're planning on staying here to chill. Price-wise, it's comparable to a 16oz drink from Starbucks but the quality is way better here at The Lone Wolf. I may have to come back and try other stuff on their menu.

Fresh and aromatic, you'll eschew Lipton's when you start brewing fresh loose tea. If they tone down the roasting, the coffees will be excellent. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store carries a number of tea and coffee brewing supplies from pots to strainers to mugs.

Plenty of parking available in the plaza. Interior is very simple with a lot of small decorations, merch, big counterspace. It's actually very big spacious inside. They do have a few seating available for chat and maybe do work, could use a few more tables in the future to maybe drive some traffic. Staff were very nice and friendly and the drinks were relatively quick. Drinks/Desserts Specialize in matcha, they have the standard matcha latte, strawberry matcha and even hojicha if you want it to be less caffeinated. The matcha is sourced from Japan, so I feel it's a bit more stronger and better in quality. I like how you have the option to switch up the milk if you like (not sure if there are extra charges). But very therapeutic to see the barista making the matcha right in front of you, so you know they're not cheaping out. They also have matcha theme dessert like mochis - pretty standard and not to wow-ed by it. But good for anyone who wants a quick bite. I really like the merch they also have - selling different Japanese stationery. Perfect for kids or any artsy people!
