This Starbucks makes the best coffee within 120 mile radius ( in my opinion) that I know of. It's located at exit 289 on the Horn Lake side of the interstate Drive Thru: I usually go through the drive thru window. The customer service has been what I wanted each and every time. It seems like everyone is friendly and loves their job that works here. You pull up and tell them what you want over the intercom. Then, drive up and I'm always met with someone who has a smile. Makes a perfect day with coffee in hand. Fresh coffee; great coffee is served here daily. They are open early in the morning, so you can stop here before going to work. I came to this location for the 5 years I worked at Southaven Middle and it was a great place. At one point I was even coming here a few times a week to get breakfast before I went in for work. I really loved dropping by here because they always worked quickly and I never had to worry about being late. I always had a good experience here. The workers are friendly and nice. read more

The manager has horrible customer service!!! My Carmel Frappe tasted like watery milky and coffee, so when I returned the manager did not acknowledge us or our concerns. So I asked for a return because I didn't want to chance it. She then got an attitude and start ignoring the cashier. Slow, slow, slow! I ordered online and when I got there, 6 minutes later, my coffee was ready but, it took 14 minutes from the time I got there to get my egg white bites done. If I could give this location 0 stars, I would with NO hesitation. This location is known for terrible customer service, the baristas aren't welcoming nor do they greet their customers and they are very unprofessional. I have witness a customer wait 45 mins for drink because "the baristas are new". They are very slow, and they are ALWAYS out of everything! it's really annoying having to deal with rude, grumpy baristas just to get told "we're out of this..." - November 5th, 2022 I decided to settle to go to this location since my job is 5 mins away from that store (I work in horn Laken and I was already late for work). I typically go to the one down the street by Malco Desoto in Southaven because that is where I feel most welcomed and they never fail to show so much gratitude and love when I'm there. Im very easy-going and understanding, let me make that clear. I have worked in customer service, I pay close attention to how the morning crew (180 Goodman rd.) work really well together, their communication and chemistry with each other are really strong and its beautiful. Back to story my horrible experience lol. I pull in drive thru ready to order my food, I specifically stated "I would like a tomato and mozzarella on a focaccia and a butter croissant warmed"..As simple as I stated, the opposite happens. I drove off thinking I'm going to eat a decent breakfast. My focaccia was fine..I bit into my croissant and it was COLD as if it was never warmed up. Now I'm frustrated because as a loyal, paying customer of Starbucks..I did not receive what I asked for. I called the store back and she's giving me the run-around about why it was cold. I asked the girl (Liar, claim to be manager but she's actually a supervisor) on the phone if I could come back get another one.. WARM. She asked me to hold on just a second, as patient as I am I held on the phone..for way too long. But it was actually intentional. 09:38 secs tuned into 34:03 secs on the phone. That's WAY TOO LONG to have a customer on the phone. Now I'm at work and I'm pretty p*ssed off because I don't understand why it takes over 30 mins to just let me know if I could come back and get a warm croissant that I asked for. This is where it gets interesting, I mean I'm distraught. I left work while I was on the phone, when I got to the location I went inside the store instead of going back to drive-thru. I waited in line because it was people in front of me and I did not want to cause a scene. Keep in mind they don't know who I am or what I look like because I came through drive-thru earlier. The only barista that really saw me was the older lady that took my payment and handed me my food. As I'm waiting in line, a white lady with honey blonde hair (liar, claim to be the manager) walks over to the register and picks up the phone realizing she INTENTIONALLY left me on the phone for 30 plus minutes, looks at the other young lady (another sh*tty liar that claim to be the manager) and starts laughing...put the phone down and walks away. I'm seeing all of this happen while I'm waiting in line. I was so sad because this is how kids with no home-training or manners act, I got this treatment from wanna-be managers from Starbucks. They belong in McDonalds, NOT Starbucks. I literally cried because I have never received unfair treatment from a place that are supposed to value their customers. The 2 girls are: African American (lightskin), short, afro, she wears glasses and her eyes are far apart from each other. Other lady is white with honey blonde hair, chunky size, and I think she has a visible moon tattoo. Long story short, I called corporate and I spoke to the district manager and she was the nicest person I spoke to. I do not recommend this location Starbucks to anybody because it is one of the worst starts bucks I have been to living in the Memphis-Mississippi area. I have been to a lot of Starbucks in Memphis and Mississippi but this is by far the worst of the worst. Never again. read more

Stopped coming to this location due to them always being "out" of popular items. I decided to try the location this week to see if things had gotten better. They haven't. I've visited 3 times over a span of a few days and each time they were out of cream cheese. I can understand running out of product, but a simple product like cream cheese for nearly a week does not make sense to me. When I inquired about them being out for so long I was told by he lady working the window that there was nothing she could do and I should tell the manager, didn't offer to get her and even offer a name. Simply replied there was nothing she could do and she didn't have anything to do with that. I'm a little disappointed by this, when you work in a customer service position, it is your job to provide quality customer care. I wasn't super impressed with my first visit here. My wife and I went through the drive thru to grab a coffee to go before our regular Sunday movie. The lady taking our order, although humerus at the time, said "Good morning, Good afternoon, good evening!" I guess she really didn't know that it was 7:00 p.m. After waiting in line for about 7-8 minutes( we were one of two cars), we finally got our order. We asked for an iced caramel macchiato. When she handed us our drink, it looked great. Unfortunately, for hot my wife and I(we shared a venti), our first sip was full of chunky caramel. They never mixed it up and all the caramel was gathered at the bottom. Although once we got past the caramel, the taste was great, I would have liked a little more attention to detail. read more

This starbucks location is my favorite. Its never super packed (I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing lol), and the baristas there are always super friendly. Another reviewer noted that this location is often out of popular items. I found this to be true on our drive thru visit today. I wanted a dark roast coffee and a turkey panini - they were out of both- so I ordered a pikes peak with cream and sugar and a croissant sandwich. She repeated my order back and we confirmed it was correct. My fiancé was in a rush to get back on the road so I ate my sandwich and then removed the green plastic stopper from my coffee to find it contained black coffee with no cream or sugar. Only devil worshippers drink their coffee black. So there goes $4 for nothing- we are driving to Boston to spend Christmas with family so driving back 20 miles for cream and sugar isn't a possibility. Maybe avoid the drive thru if you visit this location and just want a basic coffee. read more

This brand new Starbucks is the best one around this area. With a great atmosphere, new furniture, and a Clover brewing machine for Starbucks Reserve coffee you can't go wrong! Plenty of Reserve coffee options too. Great and friendly staff, and a good number of seating options for both inside and out. This will be the new spot. I paid for a six shot espresso drink and they first gave it to me in the wrong cup and then gave me attitude about changing the cup. Then there was No cream of any kind on the station for customers. Update, this WAS my favorite Starbucks but after the rude treatment on Saturday, I'm boycotting this place! First off I know I've seen people bring their small pets into other Starbucks around town w no problem. My son had our 9 week old puppy in his arms at the counter and we waited like 10 minutes to even get our order taken. Finally she took our order and the I'm guessing manager told me that unless the dog is a working dog that he couldn't be in there. It's not like we had him on the ground walking around or anything! Favorite place to go in the morning! Sometimes the lines are extremely long, but the customer service is always wonderful. I can always count on sitting down and drinking my coffee before a log day at work. The music puts me in a relaxed mood before a long day in the office. Love this location so much more than the Southaven location. It's about 3 minutes farther away, but worth it for the cleaner, more modern, less-busy location. Staff is super friendly, plenty of parking, and the drive thru line isn't lined up to the street. There's also more seating and they aren't blaring the music when you're trying to have a meeting with a client over coffee or get some work done on your laptop. Definitely a plus for me! This is my favorite Starbucks in Desoto county. Not near as busy as Southaven and olive branch and the staff is a lot friendlier also.

I feel like this location just isn't reaching its potential. My main gripe is the mobile orders, which I use pretty much every time I visit a Starbucks due to the great convenience of being able to order before you arrive. This is the only location where that doesn't hold true. It's actually less convenient here if you do a mobile order. First, they have the mobile orders off where you can't get them as a customer, and you're supposed to ask a barista for your mobile order. However, when you walk in and up to the counter where you receive your drink, nobody acknowledges you. And they don't call out the mobile order when they are ready. I just stood there for 20 minutes waiting on an iced coffee before anyone even made eye contact with me so I get them to get my now watered down iced coffee. It just defeats the whole purpose. I imagine the failure is in the management. It seems like most of the baristas work hard, they just lack the knowledge of how to operate. On a positive note, I do like the location of this store because it is slightly away from the crazy busy part of town. read more
