Came by here to hang out and talk with a close friend for awhile. I don't usually hang out in a Starbucks, but we were traveling and just wanted to relax in comfy chairs and talk for awhile. We ordered a couple of drinks, played a question game that we had brought with us and enjoyed our time together over coffee

This is a BEAUTIFUL Starbucks. I have been to a many in my day and this one was a great new building with happy workers. I got a dirty matcha with egg bites for breakfast. I forgot to ask for Oatmilk and the barista happily changed the milk in my drink. I was so thankful

Cool exterior that has a definite vintage feel! Really fun!

Very unfriendly and they roll your eyes if you want whip cream on your drink. Young girls don't give a crap and couldn't smile at all

We've had a few bad experiences at this Starbucks but tonight was the worst. A dead pincher bug was in my wife's coffee!

Tucked away on the side of a small office building on Conference drive across from the complex that houses The Chef's Market, Bloom & Brew is a casual, vibey and local spot serving up all the classics alongside a solid selection of pastries and baked goods. While there are a few tables outside the front door, the interior space offers a variety of seating from industrial style tables and wooden booths to a cozy old school couch and plush leather tables to a full booth tucked in a nook with a stained-glass window overhead. While I was there for the coffee, I decided to stay for the vibes and enjoy my iced latte in one of those cush leather chairs! Speaking of lattes, I am a sucker for seasonal drinks, especially those in the fall, so naturally I gravitated towards the season menu and went with an Iced Monkey Bread Latte and it was absolutely delightful! Well balanced, a tad salty, but also sweet...so good! Service was stellar from entry to exit. Chatted while ordering and then a bit while he was whipping up the goods. Super chill fella with some great coffee skills! Overall, absolutely thrilled to have found Bloom & Brew. I can already tell this spot is going to become one of my go-to's anytime I am near or in Goodlettsville!

I've been wanting to write this review because Chef's Market deserves so much more than five stars…read more My family and I have been coming here for years. We've celebrated family dinners, hosted business meetings, and made countless memories around your tables. Even after moving out of state more than 10 years ago, every single time I come back to Tennessee, my dad and bonus mom know that one stop is non-negotiable--we're going to Chef's Market. The food is incredible, and the cakes are worth the trip all by themselves. A few weeks ago, though, Chef's Market became so much more than a favorite restaurant. I got a call that my bonus mom had become very sick, and I rushed home to help care for my family. One day I stopped in to grab lunch and, of course, one of your amazing cakes to take back to the house. I was holding it together...until I wasn't. When the sweet lady behind the bakery counter asked which cake I wanted, all of the fear, exhaustion, uncertainty, and heartbreak I'd been carrying came pouring out. I couldn't stop crying. Without hesitation, she set the cake down, walked around the counter, and wrapped me in the biggest, most genuine hug. Not the kind of hug you give because you feel obligated--but the kind that says, "You're not alone." Then she prayed with me. A complete stranger saw my pain, held me tight, and promised she would continue praying for my family. As I sit in the hospital weeks later, I still think about that moment. I remember her kindness, her compassion, her gentle spirit, and the love she showed someone she had never met before. That hug meant more than she'll probably ever know. Chef's Market isn't just a restaurant with incredible food and the best cakes around. It's a place that feels like home. It's where my family has made years of memories, and now it's also the place where I was reminded that kindness still exists in this world. Thank you for feeding people in more ways than one. Thank you for caring. Thank you for reminding me that a simple act of compassion can carry someone through one of the hardest days of their life. You truly never know what someone is walking through. Your kindness made a difference in mine, and I'll never forget it. Unfortunately I have forgotten her name but I know she has beautiful black hair that smelled amazing!

The lemon cake looked amazing but tasted so odd, with fake lemon icing, even a little vinegary, with sugary, flavorless cake. I couldn't find the prices posted in the restaurant. When it's cafeteria-style and you have to quickly decide to keep the line moving, you need to know the price. Great presentation and portions, very friendly staff.

Typical Latin bakery shop where it's pretty easygoing and you grab what you want they bag it up for you. We got a bag of around $20 worth of stuff and we munches religiously for around a week- great for breakfast, afternoon tea, or un cafecito! I didn't actually go into the store to reduce risk of exposure, so I'm not exactly what all the varieties were. But we ended up getting coconut flavored items, pineapple tops, and other moist and various texture and flavor breads. I mean, carbs are delicious and pair it with your favorite beverage- magic! I would love to support again one day, but I am concerned that my mother who was the one who went in notes that none of the personnel were wearing masks or gloves. The same for the customers. My mother did don both asks and gloves and practiced social distancing. However, it's concerning to hear that the business wasn't wearing any kind of PPE. I've noticed this in middle TN in general and am concerned. I would advice the team to take precautions and for that reason, I will have to give them a lower rating. However, after COVID-19, I would like to go in for the full experience and try it for myself.

I was in this area for work and was looking for some gluten free vegan sweets. It appeared that Healthy Body Bakery could satisfy that craving, as they cater to those with dietary restrictions. It's a small business, tucked behind the main street-facing businesses of a building. I was warmly greeted upon entry. They only had one gf vegan cake option on the day that I went (vanilla cake with vanilla icing), but they had several gf cupcakes and muffins available. I grabbed a cake slice (for half off!) and a cupcake. VANILLA CAKE SLICE Vegan and gluten free vanilla cake and vanilla icing. The cake was moist and the taste was ok to a seasoned vegan. What I mean by that is, for decades I've watched (and tasted) as the vegan food game evolved. Back in the 90s, vegan vanilla cake had this same beige/light brown color and flavor. So I actually knew what it would taste like before I even bought it, based on the color. However, it did not taste gluten free and that is a flex. The icing was slightly lighter than a buttercream icing, but definitely not a whipped cream icing. For people who don't like "too sweet", this icing would be perfect for you. It was sweet without the sugar rush. I would love to see them improve on their vegan vanilla cake though. If they can get it to that light and fluffy yellow vanilla color, they'd join the dozens of awesome vegan bakers across the country who've mastered this feat. MANDARIN ORANGE CUPCAKE A tasty orange flavored cupcake with the same aforementioned vanilla icing. It was moist; it did not have that typical grainy gf texture or dry gf taste. It was a very good cupcake. I believe they also have a peach gf vegan cake in their rotation. If I was in the area again, I'd definitely return to try that peach flavor.

Here's what we tried: * Crispy Wild Mushrooms: Lightly breaded and served with black garlic aioli. These were nothing like the soggy fried mushrooms you might get at a burger joint. They were meaty yet delicate, with a beautiful crunch! * Raw Oysters: A couple had a little sand, but they tasted fresh and paired so well with the horseradish cocktail sauce. * Charcuterie: We ordered the small board. The berry jam paired SO well with everything, you could tell they put thought into choosing items that complemented each other. * Kids' Grilled Cheese: My 3-year-old ate the entire sandwich! When we got home, he told me it was the best grilled cheese he'd ever had. It also came with some of the best fries we've ever tried--soft inside, crisp outside, and perfectly seasoned with flaky salt. They were even delicious cold! * Spiced Roasted Redfish: Topped with crab meat, flavorful, and served with tender, sweet carrots. By this point, we were slipping into a food coma, so I completely forgot to take a picture! I also stole a bite of my husband's pork chop, and it was juicy as heck. His Brussels sprouts with pecans were delicious, too. And let's talk about the drinks and happy hour! The pricing was such a great deal. I got a whiskey sour and one of the best gimlets I've ever had for $6 each! Roland took wonderful care of us. He took his time making recommendations and even answered my toddler's questions, lol. I truly can't say enough good things about the food and service. The atmosphere was just as lovely: open yet cozy, super clean, and with an outdoor seating area that was perfect for our little one to watch cars go by. They also had someone playing piano! I only caught about a minute, but he sounded wonderful. Next time, I'll have to sit inside so I can enjoy more of it. Casper's reminded me of some of the trendy Nashville spots, but with larger portions and lower prices. This is officially my "must-try" recommendation for locals. What a gem! PS: They even use nice ice for their sodas. Like large cubes so it doesn't water down the drink. They have so many thoughtful little things going on- love this place! PPS: I think a lot of their stuff is house made... Like the cocktail sauce and maybe that jam?
