After going to my fair share of this franchise I know that sometimes it can be a crapshoot, however this location made my drink perfectly! The store was clean and organized. The staff were busy and efficient but not necessarily friendly ( fine by me if the drink is good). The music was jamming so not really a quiet place to study, at least on my visit. I made a quick stop during a road trip and ordered a single black coffee at the inside counter. Fifteen minutes later I had no coffee and at least two other customers who came in after me had their drinks and had gotten back to their cars. Basically I believe our Lady of Perpetual Confusion has visited this location and hexed these guys. Eventually my order popped into existence and I got on the road again. My new arrival time had slipped over half an hour so I was not exactly thrilled. But the coffee was hot and the top didn't pop off so two stars for the usual in that regard. read more

Horrible customer service. Arrogant always think they are right. Sparky attitude rude especially the males. Forced me to make the order at the speaker instead of window and couldn't understand me. I like that Starbucks serves breakfast all day. I stopped here around noon on a Sunday to get a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. At that time, most other fast food restaurants have stopped serving breakfast. I went inside to order. Service was friendly and fast. The sandwich was good. But the parking situation leaves me a little hesitant to come back to this particular location. The parking lot is small and the long drive through line ran right through it. So I had to wait in the line to be able to park. Then when leaving, I had to wait for the line to ease up in order for me to back up to leave the parking lot. read more

I needed internet to work after multiple flight cancellations had me stranded in Kentucky. I ended up spending two full workdays in their store. After 16+ hours of casual observation, I have to say you have a great staff here. Not only were they accomodating of my situation but they were kind, fast and efficient to everyone walked that walked in. They always greeted their guests. I didn't hear a single person complain about their drink or ask for it to be remade the whole time. Even during busy times they seemed in a good mood and like they enjoyed wotking there. That might only be a testament to their professionalism, but it's impressive none the less. The store and bathrooms were clean and stocked. Just went through the drive-thru at this Starbucks and was just really impressed by the positive attitude of the guy at the drive-thru window. He was just so upbeat and positive and it made our day a little brighter for the long road trip we have ahead of us! Thursday's and Friday's are gridlock here. Everyone in Georgetown must decide to treat themselves because it's near the weekend. For those of us that come everyday, it makes for a poor experience. The drive through backs up into the street. No one can enter or leave the parking lot due to the drive through congestion. Folks begin to park along the Access road causing further congestion. Don't bother the online ordering in advance and expect it to be ready. You'll wait either way. Speed it up Starbucks! I recommend management adjust staffing to staff up on Thu-Sun. It looks like it's the same staff compliment all the time. Most of the team seem to work hard and are friendly. But here are a couple that may need a little more 'motivation'. I'll come back every day due to my preference for the product. But wish the experience were a little better for the financial investment I'm making at the establishment. read more

Went through the drive thru today & ordered a tomato mozzarella panini. When I got to where I was going, I opened the wrapper to find this. One piece of the bread was in two pieces entirely & the spinach had been haphazardly thrown in the bottom. I took it back inside to say exactly this & the cashier apologized, made me another, gave me a gift card, & even offered me a feee drink twice for the trouble, which I very much appreciated (the rating of 3 is based on her alone). However, when paying the prices Starbucks has/going to Starbucks in general, I feel a certain level of customer service & quality is expected. Starbucks continues to fail in the design of their stores and parking/drive through lane. If you want to pick up an order you can't get into the parking area (let alone get out) because of the drive through lane - so people park on the service road. Despite ordering ahead our order was not ready and took an extra 10 minutes of waiting :( read more

Stopped through the drive thru early morning on a weekday. This location is right of the highway which is great. A little tricky to get into but not that bad. They had a long line as expected but only waited roughly about 7 mins from start of line til we paid and was leaving. We arrived to this location in our RV at 2:15 pm Saturday. When we called (as doors were closed) a male informed us that they had closed at 2o'clock despite what was found on Google, and said they would not open until 6 AM Sunday. After another wonderful experience here this morning, I wanted to update my review and add a star. Yes, this is still a small Starbucks with an awkward parking lot but the service is fantastic! They always seem to care. Usually, my drink order is perfect and all is well. On the rare occasion that they mess up my order or I don't like a drink, they are quick to remake me another one at no charge. But what blew my mind today was their decision to give me a drink at no charge because they had messed up my order a few days prior. I hadn't complained about it (other than commenting on the wrong size), nor did I bring it up again, but they remembered me! How nice! Stopped by Starbucks today at 4pm to grab a coffee and a water due to the heat outside. I pulled into the drive through, and waited about 5 minutes with no action from the speaker. I decided to talk to it to see if anyone would respond to take my order. Nothing. After this I decided to just pull up to the drive through window, to see if maybe I could place my order there. After waiting there for about another 5 minutes, watching the workers inside look at me and my car and do NOTHING, I left. I visit this location about once a week and am always met with peasant customer service and very helpful staff. They move quickly and drinks are most often made correctly (they are humans, we all make mistakes from time to time). Any time I have had an issue with a drink, they are quick to remake it and are very kind. It pains me to give a Starbucks a low score. Starbucks is an everyday go to in my life. We however are on vacation and I had to go to a little town's Starbucks. I ordered a Carmel macchiato and would expect it to taste like every other location but I was wrong. I'm not sure if they got my order wrong or my barista made the wrong drink but it tasted like warm milk. My husband ordered a hot green tea and his was perfect. That's why they have a 2 star instead of a 1 star. As soon as I pulled off I took that first sip that should have been amazing. It was like getting a slap across the face.... It was horrible. Horrible enough to turn around and ask them to remake it. It was definitely a blame the other person scenario. From what I understand my barista is new as told from another barista. However my barista told me they ran out of the syrup and she was told to use this genetic syrup they brought in for replacement. She made it again and I said this is horrible. She then said.... yup its the off brand syrup. So I ordered a hot green tea and decided to cut my losses short. Just keep driving pass until you get to the next Starbucks! read more

The facility was clean, the staff was nice. Wasn't a huge fan of the new Ham and cheese croissant which I chose because my usual lemon loaf was out. Sat down and got on my laptop to do some school work with their wifi and 8 people after me was served. I finally went up to the where the drinks are served and waited for someone to acknowledge me which they did after a few minutes and I explained the situation. The first time, I politely asked if they could turn it down and they happily complied. However, this time when I asked, they said they were working on it, and the bass is still thumping through my noise canceling head phones. This is the worst Starbucks ever!! The line was out the door & the drive thru was full, yet 2 of the 4 staff were restocking things that were already full. I waited for a double espresso & a black coffee (aka the most simple drinks) for 15 minutes while my car was gridlocked. The guy at the register also had no idea what he was talking about. Every week they have different store hours. Waste of time to drive there just to find out they closed early or never opened at all. Last week their hours were 7:30-6:00.This week their hours are 7:30-2:30. Next week who knows. This is without a doubt the worst Starbucks I've ever been in...and I love the chain so I have been to many stores. First, the drive thru line goes right through the parking lot so on busy weekend mornings the parking lot gets jammed. If you do park and go Inside, when you try and leave you're blocked in and have to wait for either the line to clear or someone to let you out. I used to love going to my old neighborhood Starbucks weekend mornings but no longer do that because I have zero patience for the crazy traffic. Inside the service is horrible. Seems there is always the one older woman taking orders there who never smiles, is never pleasant and probably messes up 2/3 of my orders. Sometimes it's forgetting to put 'no whip' or ringing up the wrong size drink. (I always bring my own cup...one time I got a 'tall' latte in a 'grande' cup because she had written that down, despite me clearly saying 'this is a grande'.) One time I brought in my own travel mug and was told by the young man taking my order 'we can only use Starbucks mugs'. Huh? I've been bringing my own mug into Starbucks for over 6 years. Luckily someone else stepped in and corrected him. Other times I've stood at the counter for up to 4 minutes, waiting to order, while several people behind the counter looked busy and didn't acknowledge me, even to say 'be with you in a minute'. I don't even like to go to this Starbucks anymore. I'd rather go to the one in Kroger or even drive into Lexington. I hear that a new store is opening up in the Kroger Marketplace near the new Mod Pizza and Verizon store. I hope so...I miss having a good Starbucks nearby. read more

I know most people say that a Starbucks is a Starbucks, but that just isn't the case. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. They always have the inside area clean and are the best coffee in Georgetown. I use to prefer the Lock/Key for my coffee cravings but after it sold a year or so ago...It has went down hill fast. I might give them a chance later on but for now...NOPES. Stop in here and these guys will brew or whip you up something nice and tasty. They also sell the snacks,treats, and bottled drinks that you have grown to love from Starbucks. read more
