Just went through the drive-thru at this Starbucks and was just really impressed by the positive attitude of the guy at the drive-thru window. He was just so upbeat and positive and it made our day a little brighter for the long road trip we have ahead of us! He even saw our pup in the back seat and asked us if he could make him a pup-cup (whipped cream in a cup) - which we obviously accepted ! Thanks so much!

Thursday's and Friday's are gridlock here. Everyone in Georgetown must decide to treat themselves because it's near the weekend. For those of us that come everyday, it makes for a poor experience. The drive through backs up into the street. No one can enter or leave the parking lot due to the drive through congestion. Folks begin to park along the Access road causing further congestion. Don't bother the online ordering in advance and expect it to be ready. You'll wait either way. Speed it up Starbucks! I recommend management adjust staffing to staff up on Thu-Sun. It looks like it's the same staff compliment all the time. Most of the team seem to work hard and are friendly. But here are a couple that may need a little more 'motivation'. I'll come back every day due to my preference for the product. But wish the experience were a little better for the financial investment I'm making at the establishment.

Went through the drive thru today & ordered a tomato mozzarella panini. When I got to where I was going, I opened the wrapper to find this. One piece of the bread was in two pieces entirely & the spinach had been haphazardly thrown in the bottom. I took it back inside to say exactly this & the cashier apologized, made me another, gave me a gift card, & even offered me a feee drink twice for the trouble, which I very much appreciated (the rating of 3 is based on her alone). However, when paying the prices Starbucks has/going to Starbucks in general, I feel a certain level of customer service & quality is expected. This was the second time I've had an issue with a sandwich at this location. The first was a breakfast sandwich that was cold. I thought I went to a Starbucks, not a DIY drive thru.

Long line but they seem to be moving!!!

20 mins with 5 people in line while the drive thru crew stood and watched the painfully slow service.

You get the best of both worlds, spending time with foster cats while enjoying a midday snack. It's $7 for 30 minutes, or $13 for one hour. All cats are adoptable for $100. House Rules include... - 8 guests at a time - They ask you do not pick up the cats. - Do not feed - Please leave sleeping kitties alone. - Wash your hands before entering. Entering inside through the double glass doors and greeting the little ones, they charmingly performed their sniffies and investigative duties on me. Once I received everyone's stamps of approvals, it was bonding time! Massaging their heads, necks, chins, ears and tummies...as long as the residents were filled with contentment, my responsibilities were well earned. And, I even received some licks and lovin in return. It's moments like these I live for. I have a huge soft spot for animals and taking an hour out of the day to come to this cat cafe was truly rewarding. Btw, there was an orange colored cat who was ultra friendly and filled with tons of personality. Enjoying its spa day, this cat could not control its tail! I believe it was feeling pure bliss which brought incredible joy to my heart. In the end, the one hour flew by that I probably could have stuck around and paid for hour number two. Still, it was unbelievably heartwarming connecting with these cats in a loving manner and I certainly made fond memories visiting the Central Purrk Cat Cafe.

After leaving yet another distillery, the ladies in our group wanted to head to Georgetown for some shopping. But before the shopping could begin, we needed lunch. We had stopped at Fava's a few weeks earlier with another group of friends for breakfast, and it was excellent. With that great experience in mind, we decided to try Fava's again, this time for lunch. The décor is classic Old Town Kentucky--exactly the kind of place that brings back childhood memories of small-town restaurants. Charming, comfortable, and familiar. We seated ourselves and looked over the menu. I went with the chili cheese hot dog with fries. My wife and one of our friends chose the open-faced Reuben, and the last member of our group ordered the club sandwich. Every dish was excellent. The club sandwich was so large it required a to-go box. Before leaving, everyone except me ordered pie to go-- Fava's pies are legendary, at least to my wife and me. I skipped dessert this time and immediately regretted missing their ice cream options. We dropped the pies off in the car (it was cold enough outside to keep them safe), and then the ladies headed off to explore the shops of Georgetown. And I cannot leave out the wait staff, very attentive and friendly . This was my second visit to Fava's, and both times have been outstanding. I'm already looking forward to our next "shopping trip" to Georgetown so I can enjoy their food again--and this time, I won't miss out on the ice cream.
