    Military theme prints
    Yoonie L.

Being the only Starbucks on the entire base of Fort Stewart, this location has the important and enormous responsibility of caffeinating an army, literally...haha! C'mon! You knew it was coming! If you've never been, you can only imagine how busy that location can get! I stopped there in the morning before heading to a retirement ceremony and just waiting in line and watching their process, you gotta give it to them, the staff handle it the best they can and do a pretty good job doing it. - Parking - It's attached to the PX. Center lot. - Vibe - It seems that the location had been recently renovated. The store is the standard size, and no means small, but when you have a whole troop in there, one can feel like sardines in a can. One thing that I found interesting and stood out was the artwork they chose for this particular location which was a military theme. I thought that was pretty neat. If you read the plaque below the art pieces, it was created by Jennifer Ament, an artist in Seattle who comes from a military family. - TLC - There were about 7 staff members and not one was standing still. There were service members everywhere and some were probably sent after losing a game of rock paper scissors to go for THE Starbukcs run at the only Starbucks on base! The staff seemed to have a pretty good flow going to serve both people in the store and the long line of cars I saw driving up to the drive thru. The lady making the drinks for the in-store purchases was pretty robotic, but was pretty efficient. She looked like she could probably do it in her sleep, welcoming customers as soon as they walked in the door while slaying the barista game. - Eats / Refreshments - Iced Chai Latte - I always get this with whole milk. Tastes so much better! Ham and Swiss Breakfast Sandwich - Please note that they seem to have a ham and cheese croissant too, which was the first thing one of the staff members gave me, so it can be confusing. No big deal though. She apologized and heated up what I had ordered which was the Ham and Swiss Sandwich that comes on a bun that is kinda like a croissant. Pretty standard and one of my go to items. - Heads Up - Did I mention they have a drive thru? I don't think one is faster than the other from what I could tell. Just depends on how lazy you feel. Also, one thing to note about Starbucks locations on bases in general, is that, I believe they are licensees of Starbucks and although you can use the rewards program like you would any other location, where you can add money, accumulate points, you cannot redeem the points for any free food or drinks. For a location that is that busy, I think they handle themselves pretty well. I just wouldn't go there if you're trying to get your first cup of coffee of the morning because you may need to wait like the rest of them.

Flies all inside the closed case of food. There was 6 flies.

Wow so while giving my order was thinking about get a croissant when I saw 6 flies inside all over the food. I was so disgusted that just took my coffee. The lady just came by saw me didn't say hi or anything just said what would I like. Definitely would not recommend this place. I'll continue my business in the Hinesville Starbuck's. First the px food court is disgusting with the cockroaches now here. So sad that this is our base.

For being the only coffee joint on a VERY busy and packed military installation, it's alright. Yes, busier times of the day, be prepared to wait. I went in at 4:15 on a Monday and had my drink within a few minutes. Decent Customer service in this area in general is majorly lacking anyway, so don't set your expectations too high for that at most places around here. I haven't had a "bad" drink from here, so if you're just in it for the Starbucks coffee and a place to sit for a bit, go for it!

Thank you so much to the employees at Starbucks this morning 31AUG2020. Whoever is working the drive thru and even the employees working hard inside to serve everyone coming there. You all are awesome and thank you for the great Matcha Latte! I love it. They make it perfect every time but today was extra special! Thank you for the kind words! You all are awesome! Great customer service really goes a long way. Today started rough and as soon as I left the driveway I completely shifted gears! Thanks y'all!

Prepare to wait in drive thru line for 30+ min everytime. Long waits make it not worth going.

The slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. There could be literally one car in the drive thru and you could be there over 20 mins

This coffee counter shop is located to the right, as soon as you walk in at the entrance of the Winn Army Hospital, across the way from the gift shop. I was told that it is one of only two places (other than the hospital cafeteria) to really get anything to eat once inside the hospital and it is the ONLY place, out of the two, that will accept any cards. I never have cash on me ever, so the choice was easy. Service - I was greeted immediately upon arrival. She was super sweet and informed me from the get-go that it is not an officially licensed Starbucks location, but it does serve their coffee and that she could prepare just about anything off of their beverage menu. What I ate/drank - I ordered a Latte and a Chocolate Muffin. The Latte was great, just like the ones I have had at a regular Starbucks. Maybe the employees here get shipped off to Starbucks' Barista school, because the drink tasted the same. The chocolate muffin, however, is the kind you get at Sam's Club. Those huge ones sold in packs of 6. I get those quite often, so the good thing is, I know what to expect. It was fine. Didn't seem like it was fresh out of the oven, but it wasn't stale either. Pricing - It was very reasonable. The Latte and the muffin cost me $5.80. All in all, if you don't come prepared with your own snacks or have cash on you, at least, this place isn't bad for a limited choice option. Coffee and snacks, it fits the bill!

Pros you can get coffee at the hospital. It's conveniently located by entrance. Not usually very…read morebusy. They serve Starbucks coffee (May or may not be a pro for some) Cons Hours not as great as other freestanding coffee shops. If you use the Starbucks app you are SOL bc they don't accept that at the ship despite blasting Starbucks logos everywhere.
