If you are looking for a quick fix, the shop does have a drive-up window. The shop does drip, espresso and french press coffee. In my experience of other shops in the area, the french press is unique - it's hard to find any other shop that does it. Upon visiting, I found that the store retails specialty coffee, flavored coffee and open-leaf tea. The presence of the tea adds an additional item that helps it stand out in a town where most of the other coffee shops feel like they are a copycat of big chains. I have also noticed that the owner does a good job of getting to know and remember the people who are frequent visitors. It's nice to be greeted with a smile and attentive service. As you are evaluating a place to enjoy good coffee, I highly suggest Moka Joe's as a locally-owned independent coffee shop that is working hard to provide a great location in Fort Smith.

The cafe is spacious including inviting areas to sit with a group of friends and talk about a book while visiting with friends of the book club, etc. The cafe offers food options that include hot prepared items and not heated options - chips, crackers, and then sandwich options and even soups and salad options. Another review mentions management - that has now changed, with lots of friendly faces behind the counter. Additionally, the library recently completely upgraded their entire wifi network structure, resulting in what I consider to be the fastest free wifi in town. For those who work from home, the library also has study rooms available, with great wifi coverage. In a way, the cafe and library provide the optimal "co-working" space for anyone needing to get out of the house.
