My sister and I came in to eat and get coffee before visiting our mother (on hospice). The breakfast burrito was gross and zero bacon that we ordered. When I took it back to the counter, it took several minutes before anyone recognized I was even there. They were busy in the back, rehashing their weekend events. Then the young lady wanted to argue about the bacon. We ordered it, "Why do you want to question what I said we ordered, when my sister and I were both standing here?" Does it matter? We want bacon. Then, they brought us 4 strips of solidly BURNT bacon! I had enough and took it back. The first young lady pushed the plates back at me and said, "There's your bacon!" And walked behind the wall to chat with her friends. Now pissed, I yelled, "Hello!" A young man came around with a deer-in-the-headlights look. I told him, "You all are not paying attention to your guests. The burritos are wrong. The bacon is burnt. You can just keep it." No apologies. No offer to refund the $6.50 plus taxed burrito. Additionally, the library recently completely upgraded their entire wifi network structure, resulting in what I consider to be the fastest free wifi in town. For those who work from home, the library also has study rooms available, with great wifi coverage. In a way, the cafe and library provide the optimal "co-working" space for anyone needing to get out of the house.
