Ryan greeted me and took my order. I am enjoying a Venti Carmel Crunch Frappuccino. Ryan made a Pup cup and gave me a cup of water for my dog. Ryan was very polite and had a smile on his face the whole time I was inside the store. I commented to another employee how amazed I was that everyone was working together. Team work. The napkin container was full. The trash had been emptied. The store and employee work area was clean. All Christmas merchandise is 50% off. I went inside for my drink. The drive thru was lined up...it was moving steady. I had my dog and decided to go inside. I truly wish I could give more than 5 Stars. My softball team came to get a nice refreshment and was told that only mobile orders were available, then we came back in from eating chick with all mobile orders and was asked in a rude way if we was waiting on a drink then one of the workers rolled her eyes and dropped her head!! Then as we were waiting on getting our drinks we was then told that the cafe was closed and we had to leave. The one of my teammates didn't receive their drinks and when she asked about it she was told very rudely that it was at the end of the table! Buy far the worst customer service. This location has a reputation for being the worse and it continues . The drinks had no whip cream they argued about that when I pointed it out . Three Bagels had no cream cheese made me order an extra bagel and pay $8 for cream cheese . They couldn't find the order argued about that . It has nothing to do with friendliness of staff or the product. When served a Hot drink whether at counter or thru drivethru, the drink should come with a sleeve to protect your hand against the heat. The last 2 times at this Starbucks I have been given a hot drink without a sleeve. You may be trying to save money but your are risking a lawsuit if someone were to grab it from the top and the the too just happens to come off and the hot drink spills. A customer shouldnt have to ask for a sleeve for a hot drink container,it is commin sense. My husband and I came in. We ordered 2 salted caramel mocha fraps, decaf, off the menu. We ordered at 8:05pm. We got our drinks at 8:18pm. We were given a, "sorry, they got put in drive thru." The only accessible Starbucks in the Florence/Muscle Shoals area. The shop is clean and the online orders are usually ready and waiting. The only issue I have to post is the lack of smiles or eye contact from the staff. I understand most of the staff are usually focusing on the non-stop drive through, but it would be nice for the walk-ins not to feel like they are bothering the staff. When I finally got someone's attention to inquire about not receiving my order the male barista exclaimed sarcastically guess we skipped you. I politely showed my order to the barista and upon the male barista shoving the drink in my face I politely replied this is incorrect I order x not y. This person had the audacity to get infuriated with me and patronize me by "man"splaining that I did not know what I wanted and should just take what was given. If you wish to wait an hour for the wrong drink and then be patronized for wanting what you ordered and paid for, by all means visit this location. I only go here for the nitro cold brew. For months they had issues with their machine. So you'd wait an absurd amount of time to be told the machine is down. Or you'd get lucky and actually get a nitro (Maybe 10% of the time). Then they get a new machine so you're excited thinking everything is back on track. So you go back and get a nitro. Then 2 days later you go back because you remember they have a new machine. Then you're told they don't have any beans and the nitro is not available. For this one particular product this location is absolutely terrible. read more

Giving this location a three. I came here as a refugee from Hurricane Florence. I live in South Carolina but have family here. Came back this weekend to visit. Both times we pulled up to the drive through and I ordered a grande dark roast coffee and was told both times they did not have any brewed at the moment. Two stars because there are a few awesome people that work here and provide great service. The problem is the ones that aren't polite and supervisors that won't do anything about them. Today during a raging rain storm we pulled up, rolled the window down twice to order and got no answer but like I said it was storming. We read the sign that says pull up to the window if you need help ordering. Not a single car was in the drive thru so we pulled up. A person with short blond and green hair promptly opened the window and said "you can't order at the window you'll need to drive back around". I said "I tried to order twice at the speaker and I guess you can't hear me through the rain so the sign said pull to the window". Keep in mind it's raining buckets. They said "you need to go back around if you want to place an order" and shut the window in my face. So I drove away, called and asked to speak to the manager because our family probably goes through this Starbucks once or twice a day sometimes more and has since they opened. We know that there are really nice people that work there so I thought the manager would want to know about the person at the window. A person named Sarah who said they were the shift manager got on the phone. At first Sarah claimed twice that she did not know who I was talking about even though I described short blonde and green hair wearing the headset at the window. So then I offered to turn around and come back to the store and come inside and point out the specific employee that I was talking about. Suddenly Sarah then claimed to know who I was talking about and started making excuses that maybe the headset wasn't working or some other reason why they hadn't taken my order at the speaker. I tried to explain to her that my problem was that she wouldn't take my order at the window when the sign says if you need assistance go to the window. She got very rude and accused me of raising my voice on the phone when I was simply talking to her over the pounding rain while I was in my car. She then lectured me that the sign was only for people who were blind or deaf. Although we have appreciated having a Starbucks in Florence, there are plenty of other places that carry quality coffees and drinks as well as good customer service. My family and I will definitely be giving our business to those places that value their customers enough to take their order at the window during a pouring rain storm. read more

They serve over-roasted coffee to millions world wide daily. Friendly staff that run the store really well despite a location that is frequently difficulty I get in and out of. A week ago, I ordered a peach tranquility tea online and left work on my break to pick it up. I get all the way to the store for them to tell me that they are out of peach tranquility. Today I ordered a tea with honey. Again, I left work on my break, went to the store to pick it up and they are out of honey. The manager wasn't apologetic at all.
