I still think this is a great Starbucks location. Staff is usually always very friendly. During busy times the drive-thru line and inside mobile pick ups can be extremely delayed. I usually allow time expecting a delay. Drinks and Food are the quality you expect from a Starbucks. This is a problem at both Newport and Fall River. I am a daily customer,(my wife is hooked on Chai. I usage a coffee with cream. The problem is the more work intensive drink comes out as posted in the estimation or very close. The simple coffee takes an additional 20 minutes or not at all and I have to ask. I took my daughter out for a little breakfast, It was a Monday and most places closed. She was interested in the dennys but I assured her it was not for us, It would be trot city, belly aches and Bathroom breaks all day. So we settled on this particular star bucks So I say THE WORST STAR BUCKS EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE !!! $23 for a couple Sammie's and drinks My Sammy I asked for well done bacon It was raw, I asked the coffee gal to remake the Sammy She said " I'll see what I can do" Chuckles and time spent with the other gals and a lady I got another Sammy with black bacon and a burnt bun My ella sunshine laughed as I was doing all I could to not take that Sammy and throw it in the girls face. Now this is a nice Starbucks. It's in a great plaza that pretty much has everything. It's my Monday go to place. Hot latte with soy milk! Yes please. It's a place where you can hang out and get some work done. They are friendly enough. Offering breakfast sandwiches and nice hot Lattes. When placing my order with a rather sunny disposition, I was met nothing other than a disrespectful attitude. When asking for my meal I was told that they were out. Before I had the chance to respond I was met with a rude, sarcastic "womp womp". When I placed a revised order, the harsh barista repeated the same phrase. This was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful when attempting to tell a customer that they were unable to provide what I asked for. A terrible representation for the company as a whole. I am new to the area of Fall River. Having recently returned from the west coast, a tradition I picked up was frequenting coffee shops when I needed "me" time to do paperwork, tweak my thousands of photographic images, or simply to sit and reflect, uninterrupted. There are not very many Starbucks locations here. Not too long ago, I walked into this one located at the South Coast Marketplace. It's a little out of my way, but I have come to establish this one as my Starbucks. Maybe it's the atmosphere of the place, I don't know. The team that works there, I do know, are friendly, courteous, and only happy to engage. There does not seem to be a managerial presence when I'm there. This group of younger baristas present an attitude of eagerness to please as they serve. I was there tonight. It's winter and the cold is starting to bite. My son passed away last year and one of the special things I have to remember him by is a Classic Beanie. I decided to wear it today. It felt good to pull it out of my dresser drawer and onto my head. I had a lot going on today so my mind was all over the place. Anyway, I knew I walked into Starbucks with the beanie on. I did not want to leave it in my car. After a couple of hours, it was closing time, a little early but understandable. I walked out, saying thank you guys, with a still enthusiastic response. I reached into my jacket for the beanie. It wasn't there. I thought to myself it's probably in my bag (which I use to carry the devices I need to work). It wasn't there. A panic immediately started to kick in as I looked in my car, under the seats, in the glove box, in my jacket again, and dumped the contents of the bag, now in an apparent panic. I turned to look at the distance I travelled from Starbucks. The beanie was no where in sight. As I slowly walked back to check inside, I was already devastated at the idea of the lost Classic Beanie. I got to the door which was already locked, and lightly tapped on the glass. I tapped again getting someone's attention. I understand their initial reluctance to approach me. I just kept gesturing hand on head, meaning the beanie. Finally Cam came to the door (it's also nice to frequent a place where people know you by name). It didn't look like he was holding anything in his hands. When he opened the door, I was cut short of asking the question, with a "Are you looking for this?" The Classic Beanie! I just said thank you so much for keeping it safe, took it, and just started to walk away because I did not want to get emotional. I just said thank you, and he said you're welcome Gabe. Again, by name. It's little things like this, that when people are not aware of the gravity of another's seemingly trivial crisis, and still maintain that affect of care that restores my faith in humanity. It is a grand statement to make, I realize. I am in the field of healthcare, alongside my passion for photography. In today's chaotic world, there is a general tendency to lose sight of the truly essential things in life, as Antoine de Saint-Exupery penned it, because they are invisible to the eye. I have rambled much longer than I intended. I am compelled however, as it is my duty to confess my renewed hope that the basic good in human nature is innate, and will continue to thrive, latent as it may be. I called Cam from my car and asked him for the manager's name. He was clueless as to what I had just been through. He humbly replied it wasn't necessary to call his manager. First off, I LIVE off Starbucks...so when one opened near by I was beyond excited. Yet I give a NEGATIVE 1 STAR, which they don't have. I have not gotten a consistent drink since open, it always taste different like they don't know what they're doing in there. I get a lot of older people who don't or have never heard of my drink names so it's extremely frustrating! Service is absolutely fabulous love it there never really busy when I go in. Drive-through can be busy though when I go in the morning but I don't like to try fears anyway so I suggested we go early in the morning just go in yourself. They always get my order right I've never had any negative tones from employees and I absolutely love it there. Plus it is in a convenient location to where I go in town. read more

I get a pink drink everyday. I went to the Fall River location and ordered the same drink. It was given to me with curdled milk in it!! When I questioned the gross bad milk she said that's how their coconut milk looks!!! How nasty!! I asked for a new drink this time it was pure white.. not sure where the refresher part of the drink was but yet still nasty old milk. I will never go back to this location knowing They use bad products and still serve it to costumers. Horrible customer service too! read more

I am a frequent customer who used to go to Starbucks in Fall River at least a few times a week. The customer service is just okay but the baristas most of them cannot make a decent espresso beverage, and they always argue with me when I ask them to remake the latte. Starbucks is more on the expensive side and I want my beverage to be made right without the attitude and no arguments. read more

this is a very good cafe to go to, but i tried their 'tie dye creme frappuccino' and it was terrible, the flavor was weird and i couldn't think of the right flavor for it. i do not recommend that. read more
