My experience at this Starbucks is so much better than the other one in town. I was in this plaza the other day and decided to stop in and then was also a basic b and went in after getting the PSL is out push notification. Both times I've done mobile order. Parking is easy and it's important to note this location does not have a drive-thru. Each time the baristas have been so friendly! They greet you when you walk in the door and even if you are just picking up a mobile order they ask if they can help you with anything else. The mobile orders have been ready on time and I just overall appreciate the friendliness of the employees. If you've been to a Starbucks you've been to a Starbucks. The drinks/food are exactly what you'd expect. And I don't care how basic it is, I really do just love those PSLs. The interior isn't huge but they still have a few tables and they even have a few tables outside on their parking lot patio. read more

I tried to order on the app, but I couldn't because it said literally each thing I tried to order was 'not available'. So I went inside and was greeted with a completely empty case. I asked and they said they had everything - I mean what's the point of that other than staff being lazy. So much for marketing what product you have available to purchase - I put this squarely on poor management of this location. I'm betting their numbers are way off and they have no idea why. I thought at first that maybe the issue was that they were closing. It was 4 PM. They close at 6 PM, so two hours from closing. They have gotten rid of any semblance of a comfortable chair. This used to be many people's favorite place to come and sit and have a lovely coffee experience, but every soft cushy comfortable chair has now been replaced with a rock hard cold sterile alternative. It's feels like they don't want people to linger - I know it recently underwent a complete Reno, not very impressed. I haven't been at the Starbucks for a while, and I won't be coming back. The man received his order and mumbled is there foam when the young lady went to help me he started yelling hello hello hello and snapping his fingers at the young lady. This Starbucks is well run and the baristas are professional. I've seen the same baristas for more than 3+ years! This place can get busy during peak hours but the lines keep moving. I love the location and has a huge parking area. One thing I don't enjoy is the online orders which seems to take superiority over other customers. Typical Starbucks inside, however the outside seating is lacking. Most of the Baristas are friendly enough, but only one or two tend to engage with the customers others than taking your order. The local crew of seniors liven the place up at times with their stories. I am a fan of Starbucks and have frequented them in Greenwich, CT and Torrance, CA with all towns in between. Now that I have moved to RI, it was time to find a new hangout. The Starbucks in Main street, East Greenwich has lots of parking and space inside. The staff who work there are very friendly, courteous, and make a great coffee and anything else you want. Get a staff that is friendly, efficient, and gets your order right every time and you've got a location that I will make a regular stop on my caffeine rotation. The Starbucks on Main Street in EG has that staff. . . at least every time I've been there. I think I've been going there off and on for at least 14 years, and they've never missed a beat with my orders. And since I can now order my caffeine via the app, I can skip the sometimes-long line that was only pet-peeve about the place. read more

This is my favorite s'bux in RI. It's right near my house, it's small enough to feel cozy, large enough to not feel cramped, and it's clean, with friendly baristas, some of whom even know me, or at least act as if they do! I guess, pretty much, if you've been to one s'bux, you've been to them all (with the exception that I went to a really DREADFUL one in Gaithersburg, MD once -- it was tiny, dirty, and the baristas looked like their day jobs were on a chain gang, down to the dirty finger nails.) EEWWGGH. I. AM. SERIOUS! Other than that sad story, I really do love Starbucks, (although I do wish they offered stevia), and am pretty much addicted to their strong coffee, which has spoiled me from ever getting coffee at DD, or pretty much anywhere else again. OH, AND: Their cake pops are delicious and they just starting carrying individual bags of potato chips, which are off the chain! Of course, they also offer pastries, sandwiches, salads and breakfast items in the glass case. My favorites are the spinach feta wrap and just about all of their sandwiches and pastries. They are located in East Greenwich Commons on Main Street and the parking lot is large, with additional street parking right out front. They do a lively business. And they offer free WiFi! read more

Probably tops my list of Starbucks in RI. They cater well to all their customers- including a few homeless individuals who need a spot to rest for an afternoon. I was born and raised in Seattle and this is the only Starbucks in the Rhode Island I've really had the true Starbucks experience at. Most of you reading this probably think I'm ridiculous- that's fine but I worked at Starbucks (right of passage when you are from Seattle) and there is a certain way it is supposed to be done. These folks and this store does it right. Speedy service. Comfortable atmosphere. Relaxed. Open. Clean. The drinks are made to standard.
