I would give zero stars if I could. I've never had a good experience at this location -- not once. My order is incredibly simple: a cold brew with cream and cinnamon on top. And yet, it's consistently wrong. This time, they added caramel drizzle instead of cinnamon. When I asked for it to be corrected, instead of remaking the drink, they scraped the top off and sprinkled cinnamon over it -- after I had already taken a sip. That's not just lazy, it's completely unsanitary. The fact that the first instinct wasn't to remake the drink properly is really concerning. One or the worse experiences of Starbucks ever ;( waited at the register to order to have one of the few ladies laughing and talking look over at me as she flipped her hair and ignored me ;( so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and used the restroom. anytime I've came into this Starbucks I've always been put last and now I'm starting to think it's about my race when I DoorDash and come to this store as I'm waiting for the order I walk to the pick up counter and no help 3 people walk in after to the ordering counter and get the drinks made and leave before they even ask if I am here for the DoorDash order, total of 15 minutes I waited and this is not the first time that has happened at this Starbucks location I prefer the one across from Walmart at least they acknowledge me and make me feel welcomed. read more

This is just north of Atlanta, on the east side of the exit from I-85, off the corner of a side street. I stopped here for a drink and to listen to a voicemail left by my doctor while I was trying to maneuver through the Atlanta traffic. I found the drive thru easy to get through in the middle of the morning. I was able to get a snack and a drink within 5 minutes of ordering, which I think is amazingly fast. Orders do not come that quick at the location I frequent near home. I can't speak to the cleanliness of the interior as I went thru the drive thru. But the staff I dealt with was friendly. There is plenty of parking, and the way to get to the drive thru was clearly marked, which I am finding is not the case at other locations. Granted, I have never been here before, and it is unlikely I will be back, but I thought it was good. read more

I was passing through the Hamilton Creek area with my wife and needed a morning cup of coffee. Starbucks is our place of choice when on the road. We saw that there was a location easily accessible in Hamilton Creek, so we decided to stop by and grab a cup for the road. The drive-thru was easily accessible, and the parking lot was very easy to get in and out. Our drink orders are slightly complicated. We have one of those orders where you have to apologize before ordering. The young lady working the drive-thru was super patient, kind, and took our order perfectly. We pulled to the window, and one cup was ready slightly before the other, so she provided a little small talk while we were waiting for the next cup. The final piece of our order came, and we hit the road. The drink was made perfectly and hot. The service was pleasant and attentive. The location was easily accessible from the major highway. I couldn't ask for more from a quick stop at a new Starbucks location. Please take note that I have not visited this location before, and it is highly unlikely that I will be back. However, my single visit was a good one! read more

This place is hit or miss. The inside is clean and many of the baristas are friendly, but for the past couple of experiences I've had here I have to rate 2 stars. This is the Starbucks I frequent because it is near my school, but unfortunately the past couple experiences have been less than stellar. They have been slow and not very friendly. Today I ordered a cinnamon roll frapp with no whipped cream. It had whipped cream. They took it off for me, which is totally fine, but in doing so they emptied about an inch of my drink off the top. The drink was also pure liquid, which is not the proper consistency. There was no apology for any of this and I would expect more for a 6 dollar drink. The drink was also handed to me dripping with liquid all down the sides and I had to go inside and wipe it off because my cup and hands were sticky. Really a terrible experience probably not even worthy of 2 stars, but because sometimes this place DOES have better service, I have to give them some credit. All in all not a terrible place most of the time, but they need to get it together because recently drinks have been incorrect, wait times long, and baristas not so friendly. read more

This was single handedly the WORST Starbucks experience I've ever had. I waited in the drivethru line for 10 minutes before finally getting to the ordering menu. I placed a mobile order 5 minutes before I even arrived at Starbucks, so I told them if it was already made, I could run inside and pick it up instead of sitting in the drivethru. The worker said they were "still working on it," and I proceeded to sit in the drivethru line and wait for another 15 minutes. I will NEVER come to this Starbucks again. Let's talk about customer service.... Because this place has got it down! I've mentioned my slight coffee addiction in my other posts. I know what the Starbucks experience is suppose to be like. But this afternoon's experience set a very high bar for my other coffee stops. (Be warned, I've had a lot of coffee today...) I was a little grouchy on my ride home to Charlotte from Atlanta. So I decided to stop for coffee, in hopes of cheering up my ride home. When I entered Starbucks, I was immediately greeted with a "hello!" And a smile. Well done. I got in line for my drink. I had a million other things on my mind, placed my order, paid, and waited by the pickup counter. I noticed how much the staff was interacting with the patrons - so sweet, genuine and interested! The man making the coffees asked the woman in front of me how her day was going. And the cashier was chatting up an older couple (clearly charming the pants off of the wife, haha). I noted how nice and refreshing this was - thinking I needed to write it in my review, when Wayne (friendly coffee maker) called my name. As I picked up my grande caramel latte, I knew that I meant to order a venti but (because I had been such a space cadet) couldn't remember if I had ordered/paid for a venti or a grande. I asked the girl behind the counter what size it was, and she answered "grande" and confirmed that I had ordered and paid for a grande. I said to myself, "Shoot. I definitely meant to order a venti..." And before I knew it, Wonderful Wayne was whipping one up for me. He must have sensed my long day/stressful driving desperation. I left Starbucks feeling taken care of, and cared for! A pleasant and rare find in a corporate anything. Wayne and his crew completely made my afternoon. I'm so glad that I stopped here. I will stop here specifically when I drive 85, and will recommend it to my traveling friends. read more

The drive-thru at this Starbucks is a circus, occasionally winding itself around the building, parking lot, and into the street. My record was 17 min. in it, and once you're sandwiched between cars front and back, and building/curb on the sides, well, you're at the mercy of just waiting it out, and hopefully the drink at the end of the tunnel, so to speak, is going to be delicious and worthwhile. Drinks here are consistent with the chain, which is a good thing - if there's a particular drink from the Green Mermaid that you like, better if it taste the same no matter what location you frequent. The interior, while quicker than the drive-thru, is seldom tidy. I think the army of employees are too busy manning the drive-thru madness to sweep b/c holy hell, the floor can be a mess. In all honesty, I'd rather have coffee that's not from a chain (two exits north for Higher Grounds huzzah!) but there are some occasions when I'm in the area and just want a strong cup o' SB. Just need to make sure to give myself enough time for it. read more

A few months back I had a not so good "Starbucks experience" at the Hamilton Mill location and had decided to take my business to a different location. Yesterday, while picking up the last bag of whole bean iced coffee from the Suwanee store, I happened to notice a few people talking that appeared to be higher level Starbucks employees. I asked if any of them were district managers and one of them replied, "Yes." Terri introduced herself and I told her and a gentleman (didn't catch his name) how much I loved this (Suwanee) store and their exceptional service. I also mentioned my poor experience at the Hamilton Mill store. She and the gentleman seemed concerned that I wasn't very happy about what had happened. I told them both thank you for listening, got my coffee and proceeded to my car. Terri followed me out and asked if I would go back and speak with Trinity, the manger at the Hamilton Mill store, and give them another chance. She also mentioned that there would be something waiting for me. I let her know I would. I went to the Hamilton Mill store this morning. Trinity was not there. However, Clay, another manager, was expecting me. He took the time to listen and was very receptive to what I had to say. He then offered a very genuine apology and a gift card!?! All I can say is, "WOW!" I don't think I have ever received such service from any other business. Terri, Trinity and of course Clay were wonderful in the way they handled this situation very professionally. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks by far. Friendly staff that doesn't mind too much if you order something unusual. Great quality of drinks, and what seems to be a fair dose of regulars. Nested in an almost hidden area, a decent place for the nearby high-schoolers from Mill Creek can go and hangout after school or on weekends. This one I almost always visit on my way out of town when driving to Charlotte, Asheville, Greenville, etc. I need caffeine for my trips and this is perfect because I have gotten out of Atlanta traffic, but have not gotten far enough to be dying for coffee or tea yet. So this has always been a less than stellar drive-thru experience for me. I always get the SAME guy and he is short with me because I need a receipt (expenses) and he clearly wants to do anything else but help serve coffee drinks. This time I parked and went inside (lesson learned) and man, what a difference. They were slow, but the staff was friendly. I did have to wait behind an employee on break placing an order with all his crazy quirks and the 50 words he had to use to order his crazy iced green tea, but when it was my turn, the guy behind the counter was refreshingly nice and friendly. I don't have to ask for a receipt anymore thanks to the app, either. Now, I brought in my own cup, and had to give too much direction to the barista to fill it (they always skimp me), but he finally got it after the 3rd time. Overall, this experience saved them from the previous 2-star review they would have gotten. read more

still this Starbucks is the worst experience. my husband wanted a late night (9 pm, so not all that late nor close to closing time) Frappuccino. we get to the drive thru and the menu literally has 3 options. He asked very politely if they had other ones and which ones they could make (we have been there several times when they say they can't make certain beverages because they are out of one thing of another). The person replied "um, all of them". My husband said "I don't know what all of them are because you have THREE options on the menu". He said forget it and decided to go inside. He has now been waiting TWENTY MINUTES in an empty store; no one was in line when we arrived. this Starbucks is still by far the worst I've experienced. read more

Best Starbucks around! Every single time I go here I'm greeted with friendly service and great coffee. If you are going to visit this location go through the drive thru it's a bit cramped inside and fills up pretty fast. I usually get my coffee to go at this location because of that. My favorite drinks are Cinnamon Dolce Latte, Hot Chocolate, Cinnamon Dolce Frapp, Mocha Latte, Pumpkin Spice Latte and Vanilla Frapp! If you visit for breakfast try one of their breakfast sandwiches or a bagel with cream cheese with your morning coffee! Yum! read more

Slow...I mean extremely slow. Stopped by this location twice while traveling over the holidays...both times (separated by 8 days) the location seemed overrun and unable to keep up with patrons. I actually walked in, stood in line for a few minutes (behind maybe ten people) and realized nothing was moving...so I left. It was that bad. I live in Dallas, and I'm beyond used to busy Starbucks...but typically they move patrons through the line pretty quickly. Also complicating matters, the condiment bar was right beside where the coffee was being served, so there was a backup there as well. All in all, I will not be visiting this location again in my travels. read more
