Kind of slow, I was the only one inside and it still took a while for my cappuccino to be created. I counted six employees and they all seemed busy. The drive through did not seemed to busy either. Maybe call in or app placed orders had them slow. It would be nice if in store waiting orders took precedence over orders for customers not in the store or calling in orders. When it finally was ready, the barista apologized, saying she could not get the heavy cream to foam and that's why it took so long. She had also made a second one trying to get it to foam and it wouldn't. She actually gave me both and only charged me for one so I have to say I went from two stars up to four due to Customer Service! read more

I stopped ordering from here because they constantly messed up my orders and took way longer than promise time, but today, I decided to give them another try, and they failed. I ordered a vanilla bean Frappe with cinnamon and coconut milk, and I have no idea what they made, but surely is not a vanilla bean frappe. It looks just like a regular cold coffee with cinnamon, and it did not even come in a frappe cup. We ordered two mobile orders today around 10:05am and 10:13 am and were told the orders would be ready within 4-7 minutes. We arrived around 10:20 am and only one order (egg bites and bacon Gouda) and part of the other (egg bites) were ready at the time. My partner waited about 8 minutes before asking one of the employees for help. At this point, it's around 10:30 and the food was ordered 20-25 minutes ago. The male employee was very nice and relayed his order information to the pink hair employee at the ovens. The male employee informed the employee at the oven of his name, his order, and pointed out where he was waiting for the food. The person working the oven proceeded to ignore this and complete several other orders before my partner's, not acknowledging him each time she dropped off an item near him and he tried to wave her down. Even a very large order that came to pick up after him was completed. I understand these orders could have been placed first, but the issue was brought to her and there was no effort to resolve it and he was completely ignored by her. After this went on for 8 more minutes, my partner went to address her again. She immediately had attitude and was very rude. He tried to tell her the orders as she walked away from him, instead asking the previous employee what the orders were. When she did begin making his, I believe she deliberately burnt his sandwich and smashed his egg bites (I did not witness them being smashed, but the mangled eggs in the picture say as much). The ovens are set for exact cook times for each item and should not result in burnt bread. The two sandwiches we ordered are in the pictures, one under my name which is perfectly cooked, and one under his that is burnt. I find it hard to believe two of the same sandwiches, cooked by the same person, in the same oven, in the same time span could look that different if cooked on the correct setting. My partner then requested the food that was originally ready to be remade since it had been sitting on the counter for at least 20 minutes, getting cold. Honestly idk how there are so many bad reviews for this Starbucks. They have been fantastic every time I have come in (10+ times). Of course they aren't robots so they mess up sometimes. In my opinion their extremely positive and happy demeanor trumps all of that. Every time I have come to this location the at least 2 people greet me with a smile and it's the same for when I leave. They're just SUPER busy so they don't always see that you're standing there at the counter. They still only offer half-and-half at the sugar counter. You have to ask them for 2%, 1%, etc. Kind of inattentive at the counter, BUT they let me sit here forever (6+ hours) and study so... A+ to them for hospitality and patience. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. It's the closest one to my house so I unfortunately I still come here but today I've decided I'm done. I get a venti hot coffee and it was literally halfway filled. Happened one other time but I'm picky with my coffee and always seem to be in a rush so whatever. But I do want to share something I think shows the character of its employees at this location. Ok so this is something I am still annoyed with (I need to learn to let things go, I know)- the other day I was the only one in line and it was early in the am. As I was pulling in I realized I forgot my wallet so I ordered on the app and added funds that way so cool, a quick fix. When I get to the window she has me pull up into a parking space which I've never had to do before but I was like ok no biggie but weird. And then it takes 10 min and when the kid brings me the drink he says "sorry it took so long it was ordered one minute before you got here" before I realized what he said I was like "oh no it's ok thank you so much!" I got a citrus mint tea (tall in a venti cup with room) and a turkey bacon sandwich on my way from the beach. What I received was a grande, no room citrus mint tea with no honey, no sleeve and no sandwich. After about 10 minutes of waiting, we asked if my sandwich was ready, and they said "yeah it's on the way" at which point they pulled it out of the freezer and put it in the warmer. Will no longer pick up food at Starbucks. They do not support the Uber Eats or any other deliver services. Driver have to get in line with all the rest of the dive up customers. I have waited 39 minutes for a &3.25 delivery. Order from McDonald's. They at least have your food ready and hot and allow delivery driver to get in and get out. Very disappointed with the service provided today. I have ordered the same custom drink several times from other locations , so I'm familiar with how it should taste and look. I usually go to the one in target for my "lunch coffee " but as I was so tired from being in the er with a sick child the night before I decided to go to this location and sit in the drive thru. I only get 30 min on my lunch break but the 20 plus minute wait in the drive thru isn't my complaint. My complaint is when I received my order and drove off I took a taste and it was rancid, looking at the drink you could see curdled cream. I tried to look at the label to see if maybe I miscommunicated my order but there wasn't anything on the cup at all, no label, no writing at all. I tried calling to see if my drink could be remade after work as I was out of time. It rang, hung up, rang , hung up. Then a guy answered and I very politely asked if it could be remade after I got out of work. Silence.... Then he hung up on me. I then called the Saratoga location to ask for the district manager's contact information and the employee Becca was wonderful. Used to love Starbucks however their service and product is seriously slipping. I never minded paying high prices for coffee as long as i was getting quality coffee. I have been to this Starbucks several times now and they do pretty good. It's on a very busy intersection and is in a strip mall so it is a little challenging to get to. If you are simply wanting to go to the drive-thru you need to go behind the building opposite the Starbucks. I had a grande triple caramel macchiato with extra caramel sauce and they did it right. My wife is not a coffee drinker, but the barista asked her some questions and got her a drink that she really enjoyed and now she is a Starbucks fan too. Labor Day chaos, the whole store and drive up window was swarmed in a sea of pumpkin spice mad crazed zombies. Each customer had opaque glazed eyes, drooling and froth covered mouths that were uttering a deep murmur of "pumpkin spice". In the middle of this never ending attack on the staff, they held their posts and continued fending off all threats of online orders and the front lines of the orders and the register line. They kept pace, controlled each attack and they handled each and every threat with a the magical elixir that is simply called pumpkin spice. The employees were brilliant and cunning as they served each dose in many ways, lattes, frappes, loafs, and other creative ways. Each and every hostile was transformed into a new happy joyful entity and they carried on their day with a smile, a lightness in their heart and even seen walking away with a skip in their step. I am just one of a small group of survivors that are not under this affliction. I believe some that are genetically immune to PS. I also believe there will be a time where we will not be able to blend in and we will be hunted down into a attack of the body snatcher pod conversion situation. Until then, Starbucks is our only line of defense and our only hope. Thank you Starbucks and to each and every employee for you service and commitment to the cause. Came in for about an hour to work on my laptop and drink some coffee. Unfortunately when I sat down to start working I noticed the floor to be extremely dirty! Large crumbs & trash all over. For being a coffee shop right off the freeway with high traffic of people coming in and out I was hoping to at least see someone actively trying to keep the establishment tidy. The employees were friendly and seating was adequate for the size. This is definitely a spot that utilizes their drive through because there was a long line looped around the shopping center. I've been pre-paid for twice from two different people in front of me in line, and of course paid it forward ! Just today, I had a barista named Zac (sp?) who noticed I had a cough/cold and thus whipped up the BEST cold buster tea for me. Such a considerate and thoughtful gesture by the staff. Maybe half the time the morning crew gets my order right and I order the same drink every day and at different times of the day. It's saved as my favorite on my Starbucks app. The afternoon crew gets it right and so does the Saratoga location no matter what shift. I got upset when I walked in and saw it and New it wasn't made right just by looking at it. I asked if it was made right and all the guy did was add more milk, and didn't clean it so when I went to taste it coffee dropped all over my shirt. I came here twice last week to work on coursework for my Masters, and was disappointed both times. The problem I have is not with the Starbucks itself; overall, the place seems fairly normal as far staff, coffee, cleanliness, etc. go. My real problem, though, was with the clientele. Never before have I seen such a high amount of loud, boisterously chuckling people in such a small enclosed space. In all earnestness, these are the types of folks who should not be allowed within two-hundred feet of a public library.
