As someone who used to work at a Starbucks and people would ask me to do this, I wouldnt fill their cup all the way up with milk because that's not the recommended number of oz that go in the cup. The lines on your Starbucks cup mean things. The very top printed black line is the fill line. If you were looking for allllllllll that extra milk and wanted it fill to the top, it's not free. They probably charged you for the milk. read more

Came here to work on photo editing and to meet up with some clients. One partner (Zach(?)) was being so extremely loud that we rescheduled with a client to meet up at a different location. I think that his voice just carries across the store...but does he really need to be that loud?! My gosh! Additionally he tapped a coffee grinding pitcher several times- over and over again....so many that it seemed like he was intentionally trying to be annoying. First world problems for sure- but come on dude! The drive thru is tough in the morning too. Every time my order is taken I get an "anything else?" response. When you want to order two drinks and two breakfast sandwiches it gets old hearing "Anything else? Anything else? Anything else?" It is as if they are really annoyed to take your order. I have started going to the City Market starbucks to take a break from the "anything else?!" I was coming in every morning Monday-Friday during the school year. Not anymore. There are some amazing partners here- David, Paula, Emily and Chris that do an AMAZING JOB! They know customer service and work hard to provide a third place atmosphere. Starbucks has gone downhill and visiting this location was just another example. I ordered a venti with an extra shot and they gave me a grande. No biggie. Mistakes happen. However, I watched the gal dump the grande into a venti and add milk. When I asked if they were going to put the extra shot in there she proceeded to argue with me that she did. I told her I literally watched you not do that. Rather than argue I just took what they gave me and went off. This is starting to be the norm of what I get from Starbucks. read more

Road tripping it to Durango and Telluride over the weekend, the two people in car needed frequent stops and multiple Starbucks visits to keep up with the drive. This stop was no exception. I venti black iced tea for me and drip coffee for the driver and off we went. We also find that this is a wonderful bathroom break as well. It's a Starbucks. The employees were friendly, and the interior is bright and clean. I was pleasantly surprised at how large it was for this small town, but since it's right off the main road connecting Clifton to GJ, it made sense. We were the only customers that afternoon. Our order was delivered quickly, and the drink was as expected. read more

Most the employees are friendly and nice! Alyx is totes amazing and my drink is fantastic! However, I had a bit of a brush up with a Worker who was very confrontational against Apple users. Honestly it was a big misunderstanding on the signage that was on display saying that the Starbucks App was only on the Apple App Store. A girl pointed this out and I thought it was cool, didn't think much about it. However, an employee behind the counter raised her voice and called out to the floor and shouted 'Who said that?!' It made me panic! The confrontation didn't end there, she marched around the counter and confronted the girl saying 'you're wrong, ANDROID has it too!' and pointed it out, making sure said iPhone user was wrong and knew it. In the end, the right signage was placed on the floor showing both App Stores had the app, but I'm not sure if I'll return. I mean I know it was an accident but, I'm kinda scared to go in knowing that I'm not using the right smartphone for the employees' taste. read more

Went today and they had special for8$ so I ordered it with another drink. Clerk at register said special was over. I asked why the sign was still up outside. She asked coworkers and it was determined that it was still good so I ordered it again but they couldn't find "code" so I cancelled whole order and just got a coffee. I went into unisex bathroom only to find no seat liners and no soap in dispenser. Made me wonder how long they've been out and what the workers were using to wash their hands. Not cool as so many touch stuff and have no soap to clean. Yuck read more

Hard to go wrong with this franchise. I found the staff at this location to be helpful and friendly and always on point when it comes to getting my order RIGHT and prepared in a timely manner. Place is clean and well-maintained. The only thing I wish that this location had was more indoor seating. This is my favorite Starbucks in the Grand Junction area. Most of the employees are very friendly and helpful. They're great about giving advice on new drinks and have even offered to make me a different drink if I didn't end up liking the new one.
