After a day spent exploring the Bosque de Chapultepec and the Chapultepec Castle we decided to walk to the famous Angel of Independence statue and luckily along the way found a familiar face-Starbucks.
The wifey went with her trusted Caramel Macchiato and I went with my Iced Americano with whipped cream.Sadly in Mexico whipped cream must mean just milk because that's what I got and didn't feel like sending it back-so just stuck with it-it was fine.
The location is ok-outside of the homeless who asked me to order him a drink, but sadly I didn't quite understand him, language barrier, before I ordered then he walked off frustrated when I didn't get him a drink. The workers were super friendly, whipped cream notwithstanding.
This location also featured a ton of items in their bakery section I don't see back home in California-that was pretty cool, though I didn't try any because was saving my appetite for dinner later on.I most likely will though before heading home.
I found in Mexico City there are Starbucks all over in the trendier parts of town,I didn't see them in some of the tougher neighborhoods but the trendy boujee neighborhoods had em all over.
In closing-if u ever find yourself traveling abroad and you land in Mexico City and you want to a little familiarity-Starbucks will definitely fit the bill-be safe out there. read more
