I needed a coffee to consume after I had landed at the Chicago O'hare airport. I decided to stop by Starbucks. I saw they had a holiday drink called the Caramel Brulée Latte. I decided to order that drink hot with no whipped cream and an almond milk alternative. I really enjoyed the latte. It tasted great with the right amount of sweetness. I enjoyed every sip and each sip kept me nice and warm inside. The service was great and received my drink quickly. The staff were nice and received my order just the way I ordered it. I had an Americano (or just regular coffee.) it was served nice & hot and it perked me up from the early morning flight daze. Service was friendly and steady (but not fast). Easy review for me...solid 4 star experience yesterday at this location in the Chicago airport. Staff was super friendly which is rare for airports sometimes. I was greeted and thanked for my business. My drink came out without incident very quick and was exactly how I ordered it. It hit the spot on a quick turnaround to catch my next flight. After long and delayed flights from Rome-Heathrow-ORD followed by a mess at passport control I was pretty desperate for my daily SB go-to before boarding my last flight. Rudest employee at any Starbucks ever. The girl with the braided dreadlocks doing night shift at terminal 3 says to me what do you want I ask y'all got chamomile tea and she's like what size and turns her back to me & goes on her business, when she turns around I say 2 medium teas and this princess rolls her eyes back her head like I'm stupid or something. Rude ghetto worker doesn't know people don't talk to the back of your head! They talk your ugly face you waste of a human. I go to ask for her name to add to my complaint and she has enough nerve to say you were using profanity lol lies so she has something to say to management. The Starbucks i went to was by the United gate B17 and the barista was the best! It was early morning but Andre was so cheerful & friendly! He greeted everyone one of us by, "Welcome to Starbucks!" He pleasantly took our order & asked if we wanted a receipt? How nice? I ALWAYS have to remember to ask for the receipt and sometimes the barista makes me feel that i am inconveniencing them. Airport Starbucks. You know them, you love them? Coffee/tea in a hurry. You've got this or Caribou/coffee from a restaurant. That being said O'hare has a million Starbucks locations. A lot of them are not properly marked on yelp. Tried most of them several times and it's all about the same. You may get a friendlier employee. Lines at all of them so just pick one closest to your gate. I have had better luck with the Starbucks inside rather than the open air Starbucks in O'hare. Just a small observance. This spot near the food court sees a ton of traffic and the employees handle it well. Generally the bakery items are not the freshest. Employees having their own conversations. My biggest bone with the Starbucks in O'hare is how dirty the pickup locations are. That and the bar spots to add sugar or get straws are always covered in creamer and sugar. At least wipe them down every half hour or hour. Customers should not make such a mess but It happens in an airport. They'll take your rewards card. Warmed hot food at a few spots. Prices are a few cents more because it's in the airport. Say thank you after getting your order. If you fly regularly like me you'll see the same people and hey remember a thanks, patience, and a dollar tip or fifty cents from time to time. read more

Located at the food court at the end of Terminal 3...this is your last chance for coffee before boarding your plane. The only nice thing about this location is that this is a food court so you can grab other food or drink if you want. Even some alcohol if the bar is ever open. Typical Starbucks coffee...you know that burnt taste. Starbucks owns O'Hare! They are everywhere and are your only option for specialty coffee. So Mocha me up because airline coffee has gotten really bad. American Airlines coffee is like brown water and it has a weird after taste! Why? Maybe I don't want to know!!! So as you walk by Macaroni Grill, Rick Bayless, Mickey D's twice and Wolfgang you will end up here at the oldest most forgotten food court in Terminal 3. DO NOT roll your eyes and tell a customer to, "hurry, 'cause there's a line." DO NOT tell a customer, "the price includes tax...you gotta pay it." By the time I got up to your register to place my order, I thought I had figured out exactly what would set you off based on watching you with previous customers. I had an incredibly short connection time between flights, due to delays, and got to my gate as people were queuing up to board... I thought I'd grab something quick to eat on the plane from the Starbucks cooler... there were three employees behind the counter chatting and laughing, one was pouring coffee grounds into a filter... I put my item on the counter and stood there for a few seconds before I was acknowledged with a "Can I help you?" by one girl who looked a little irritated at the interuption ... "Just this" I waived my item... "Cash or charge?" ... I only had a card... she motioned with her thumb to the girl pouring coffee and said "CHARGE"... Coffee pourer looked at me and then turned back around... I said, politely, "My plane is boarding now"... she spun back around and snapped "Well I hafta make this coffee!" RUDE Even if she was the only one of the three capable of running a credit card and refilling the coffee there was zero reason for the rudeness ... but also what the hell are the other two there for if neither are capable of, at least, taking over the coffee making? read more

If you're a hungry traveler, flying out from the Virgin America terminal can be a tricky sitch. You can fight for a seat at Goose Island, get some greezy grub from Gold Coast Dogs that finishes with a high-probability of crapping your pants mid-air, or hit up Starbucks. Guess which I did? I had a great experience here and was elated with copious, comfortable, quiet, and wi-fi equipped seating area inside. Except for the elevated prices, which a Starbucks barista can't do anything about, this is a great Starbucks with just about everything that Starbucks sells. Got a super fresh fruit cup and a grande cappuccino before my flight, where it seemed that everyone on my flight were at this Starbucks. Still, Latosha took care of a long line of customers in no time flat. My drink was excellent, too. As much as I love my local Starbucks, I don't think the baristas there could move as fast as the baristas here, and to turn over a great drink every time. I've been to this same Starbucks several times in the past 6 months, and each time, this Starbucks was packed, they moved the line quickly and the espresso drinks and the iced teas were excellent. read more

The K15 location usually has shorter lines than the food court location. The Starbucks locations at Chicago O'Hare are run by Aramark. It's actually a decent company that treats it's employees well so that attitude reflects when they represent the Starbucks brand. FYI: Starbucks cards are usable for purchase and reload here. The gold card does not, however, allow you a free refill as it does at a normal Starbuck's location. You also can't use a birthday or frequent customer freebie here. This similar to the program at Starbucks Barnes and Noble locations. If you're a Starbucks fan this location is consistent in taste and quality to what you're accustomed to with this brand. So it's starbucks, right? Good coffee, sometimes weird requests. Starbucks, is just Starbucks. Everyone already knows. But they get my 5 star rating cause not only was my coffee good, but on my way to my early (and I mean I didn't even sleep because there was no point kinda early) flight outta town I stopped for some coffee. As did a gajillion others. Having only two people behind the counter with a long line of caffeine-addicted fiends, ou'd think they'd be stressed. (I had overheard them asking each other if they knew when the third person was gonna show up). They filled everyone's drinks with barely any wait time. AND with a good attitude and were crazy friendly despite possibly feeling overwhelmed. Maybe they were on a caffeinated binge as well being able to handle all the overload, but thank goodness they work in the perfect place for it! read more

Total cluster and less than helpful. Atlanta airport provides better service so that should tell you something.. It's not clear where the line begins so while three of us stand at the wrong end, they wait until a group of people walk up to tell us to move to the back of the line. Then they take all orders but shuck and jive while we all wait for our beverages, then they commence to pass them out in the incorrect order and basically screw up half the orders. read more

The last thing you want after getting off a red-eye is someone being rude to you. I've never felt so much like a ghost. Was I using my invisible powers? Am I a ghost? Did i actually die and I think I'm alive? Idk but I sure as heck was made feel this way by Marquita (sp?). So, I walk up to the register she's at. I try to make eye contact with her. Nothing. I smile. Nothing then I look at my husband and ask "Am I invisible?" And still nothing from her, so then I take my cue to say something. I say "Hi!" And guess what? You're right. Still NOTHING! ‍ I'm irritated at this point and probably a little tired too. It was 4:45-ish a.m. Then she looks at me and walks away. I say/ask "are you serious?!" And then Irene comes to take my order. Finally someone helped. I got a latte, husband got a Macchiato. Neither of us finished our drink. It was disgusting. I look at my receipt and realize it wasn't a "real" starbucks. Which explained a lot. Skip the coffee here. You may as well just get your coffee at 711. read more

Airport coffee is airport coffee. At least this Starbucks does a decent job. Its really busy, but the staff was working hard to get orders out. They do need to do a better job of getting the line in order. A couple people struggled to find the line, but that's more on them than S-bucks. read more

Everytime i come to thus location its always fast service and friendly smiles. Im in and out in under 5 mins and my smore creme frapp looks soooooo yummy. They pay attention to details as my order is NEVER wrong and my lemon loaf is ALWAYS soft and fresh unlike other stores. I used to work at starbucks for 3 years, the one in terminal 3 by E9 is a big dissapointment. I bought a bag of coffee, tipped them a doilar and they wouldn't give me a venti cup of icewater. I love what this company stands for, this was a dissapointment. 18 bucks for a bag of coffee you should be able to get a freakin venti cup of water. read more
