The employee taking my order was friendly and explained the difference between the Iced Pumpkin Spiced Latte and the Iced Pumpkin Shaken Espresso. I got the latter and it was perfect! I also got the Bacon and Gouda Breakfast Sandwich which was on point, as always. I didn't go inside the restaurant but outside the building is clean and well kept. This Starbucks location has really gone downhill. It seems like the staff is under trained. They have gotten my drinks wrong probably 60% of the time in the past few months and the people at the drive thru seem very confused about everything from the food & drinks they offer to how to reload money on the Starbucks app. I live so close to this one and have gone here for years but it looks like I'll have to switch to the one on Spring Valley. read more

On 11/29/24, I visited the drive-thru and ordered a grilled cheese sandwich along with drinks for my family. Unfortunately, shortly after consuming the grilled cheese, I became seriously ill and believe I contracted food poisoning from that meal. I would like to provide some details surrounding the incident. Service was a bit delayed, and we were in the drive-thru for an extended period. While I understand that occasional delays can happen, I am concerned that the sandwich may have been sitting out too long before being served, which could have contributed to the contamination. However, I cannot be certain that this was the cause. What I do know is that I was the only one in my family to experience symptoms, and the grilled cheese was the only item I consumed that day. My sister and father both had different items--coffee and a sausage, egg, and cheese wrap--and did not experience any issues. Given that this was the only food I had eaten, I am confident that the grilled cheese sandwich is the source of my food poisoning. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that you might investigate the situation further, as food safety is a top priority for your customers. I am super happy this Starbucks is back open. Not only because they are close to the lovely Mrs's work but because they have some of the nicest and competent baristas in the area. The drinks are always delicious and the smiles are always flowing. I did miss these folks and I am super happy they are back open! I don't often stop at this location because I am usually not on this side of town in the mornings. But I am always glad when I stop in here. Super friendly folks, great service, and your standard selection of Starbucks products. I usually make my own tea at home but for a change of pace, a Chai and a breakfast sandwich works great for me. There was a little bit of a scare this morning as there is a purported water supply problem in Dayton. Folks here went out of their way to give people options (for me, all milk in my tea) or to bring their own bottled water to heat. They wanted to make sure that people got the safe product they expect but are not upset if someone does not want to chance it. Hopefully the city will sort out this water problem soon. The coffee is pretty good. Our order was made and tastes fine. However the kids working here are overwhelmed. Maybe a little too overwhelmed when they complain about orders in front of guests. My sister was picking up our online order and waited for it 10 minutes after our pick up time and overheard the girls working saying she's "not making these two Frappuccino's" in a frustrated tone and felt awkward going to pick up the order when it was finally done. I understand being busy and getting frustrating orders. At which point it makes the guest feel like an inconvenience they need to get more staff on board if being too busy and short staffed is the problem or hire new kids that won't grumble in front of guests when doing the job they are paid to do. I know our business won't immediately affect your location but we'll go to Dunkin' down the road when it's done. read more

I expect long lines these days anywhere, but this was just poor customer service. I put in a mobile order. I was given a time frame of 6-9 minutes. Went in early, knowing I would most likely have to wait. I ended up waiting 25 minutes for egg bites, which were made quickly and my latte. I observed as the staff talked to someone who (I'm guessing) used to work in the store and one of the baristas would stare off into space instead of making drinks. At the 20 minute mark, I asked if they had my drink order and the female barista said yes. She made three drinks, which sat in the counter getting cold until the customer could pick them up rather than just make my drink. I rarely write reviews of anything, but this was such poor service that I couldn't let it go. read more

Solid choice for a Starbucks. This is my choice of Starbucks in Miamisburg/Centerville area. Parking is plentiful. Well maintained on the outside. Inside is clean. Bathrooms are generally pretty clean as well, though there is often water on the floor from the hand dryers. Ambiance here is niiiiice. Ample seating available (though during their busy morning hours on Saturday it can get a little crowded), and they have a nice patio with outdoor seating too. There are a decent number of outlets near tables if you get one around the periphery, if you get a middle table, hopefully you have good battery life! It is usually a little chilly in here, bring a sweater or light jacket if you get cold easily. Usually service is quick, and my husband comes here enough to know the baristas, they are personable. If you are going through the drive through, be prepared for a bit of a line. read more

This Starbucks is close to me so I come here when I need my fix. I usually have no issues with service or long waits. Only thing is my drinks are never super hot. Typically lukewarm. It stinks when you want a hot drink on a cold day. Tonight I had this issue but was not going back. If I order a plain coffee it's usually nuclear hot so I need to remember this. Let me say the speaker on their drive thru is super loud. You can hear every word spoken even when at the window. They have this super bright light on the right that shines on your car when you pull up to the window so they can see the customers. I dislike it but if it's a safety measure and assists with view of trash, so I understand. It is about two buildings over from where I work so I stop by whenever I need a caffeine fix. The ladies that work when I am there are always friendly and super nice. I will warn others that there drive thru is very busy especially in the mornings so just park your car and go inside for quicker service. read more

I started coming to this location a couple of weeks ago, as I recently started a new job close by. I have placed a few mobile orders for pick up before work. My order has always been accurate, hot/fresh, and tasted great. I've never had to wait, my mobile order has always been ready at my pick up time (and completed in under 7-10 minutes upon ordering). This Starbucks consistently serves lukewarm coffee, even the "just brewed" coffee is not hot. I have returned several cups of coffee, sometimes the new cup is warmer sometimes not. Disclaimer: I am not a coffee fan. Therefore I cannot say whether Starbucks has a good cup of joe of not. What I can tell you are the reasons why this Centerville location is my favorite Starbucks in the area. 1) the drinks I do like are consistently good. The vanilla bean frap, caramel hot chocolate, and passion tea lemonade are my regulars. 2) the staff here is so friendly. They are always engaging in conversation and do a great job of completing lengthy, complicated orders quickly and accurately. 3) the menu here is much more extensive than most Starbucks I've been to. Selection includes pastries, sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, and more. And did I mention they have a drive thru? I don't even have to get out of my car - how perfect for when I'm feeling lazy :) read more

I've never been inside this location, but have been through the drive-thru a few times. Employees that work the window are always very nice, though the wait time is always long. I just went there today and waited 16 minutes in the drive-thru, with only 4 cars ahead of me. This place is a five star rated facility if a young lady named Lori is working there if not it jumps down to a -3 rating because those employees are the slowest employees in the state of Ohio and not even a fire could get these people excited. When Lori works there it's like a well oiled machine! The drive through times should be timed by the company and these statistics would prove this post is spot on and completely accurate. When Lori is not there you can add at least 15 to 20 minutes onto your wait times when going through the drive-thru. And Finally the drive thru set up is the worst in the US, and when you are ordering the sun shines straight into your eye not allowing you to see 95% of the menu. There needs to be a blind or covering to help out the customers. You are literally losing money because of this!!!!! read more

We have been going to this location for years. They recently renovated which in some ways, there are good improvements. But, overall, it lost the warm, neighborhood feeling. We chose to just get our orders and leave rather than sit. And for the first time, we ordered two items that they did not have. Staff seemed all new. We will give it a chance...while we know things like those old chairs were ready for a refresh...what has replaced them just isn't something you wanna stay and enjoy your Starbucks time in! read more

Terrible experience with the drive thru. Barista needs training. The line was very slow and two cars drove off before I ordered. After waiting in line for long time I get to the window he walks away without a word but I can see my one single coffee I ordered sitting there at the register. He was gone almost five minutes and came back with bakery items that were not mine. He finally opened window and gave me my single coffee. When I complained and pointed out the coffee order was ready when I pulled up he just smiled and closed the window.
