Starbucks' Cherry Street branch is located basically just behind the House of Fraser on Corporation Street in Birmingham city centre, the store is up a large step but you can phone the store or press the buzzer to request staff assistance where they have a ramp waiting.
The store is pretty comfortable with a good amount of seating for a store of its' size, they also have a toilet (It is in an awkward position hower near many stairs which are stacked up which is rather odd, making it appear out of order - which it isn't)
This is a franchise store and they do charge around £0.15 more than normal in the case of my drink, this isn't too bad at around 4% but still, I hate how "franchise" stores are able to charge more, considering it very rarely happens with other chains outside of Starbucks.
The staff seemed friendly and helpful, my usual Venti Iced Vanilla Bean Macchiato was served quite quickly and it was okay, most of the drizzle did sink to the bottom of my drink and there was a lot of it too (down to the heaviness), this made it a little unpleasant sipping a thick gloopy mixture in my drink, kind of like a cough medicine which is a shame as I normally do enjoy the drizzle which is currently a limited time special.
A pretty decent Starbucks store overall in Birmingham city centre. 3* read more
