For all you Starbucks-Virgins out there let me take you on a journey you are just not wanting to say No to!
Starbucks is more than a Coffee Shop, It is a huge Company that first started in a single store in Seattle, America. It offered some of the world's finest fresh-roasted whole bean coffees. The name, inspired by Moby Dick, evoked the romance of the high seas and the seafaring tradition of the early coffee traders.
Today, with more than 15,000 stores in 50 countries, Starbucks is the premier roaster and retailer of specialty coffee in the world.
I have been visiting different Starbucks stores for over three years now, I can honestly say they have never disappointed me yet! I like visiting Starbucks for a place to hangout with friends, a chat over a friendly coffee, it's great for getting a little bit of work done over a delicious drink and bite to eat. As you can get online for free at hundreds of hotspots at Starbucks throughout the UK, stores have high speed Wi-Fi access, better still you no longer need to have a registered Starbucks Card to login on.
If you are music and coffee lover, how great is this Starbucks actually give you a free download on iTunes every Monday whether that be a new track or a e-book by a best-selling author. You'll find them at the end of the bar where the drinks are served.
The store is in a fantastic location as it is in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, You could do a little shopping, be on your lunch break, and chill out in the vibrant store, there is seating outside. There is a downstairs seated area too, if the ground floor of the store gets too packed. However, the toilets are downstairs which could be a struggle for a wheelchair user or someone who struggles with getting up and downstairs.
As I have experienced entering Starbucks stores, the layout is pretty much the same. However, what I have discovered is because Starbucks is a popular coffee shop, it usually gets very busy near lunchtime and you can be queuing for a while it really depends on what other people are ordering as Starbucks don't just offer coffee, they have a wide range of drinks such as bottled drinks, brewed tea, a luxurious hot chocolate, to maybe you fancy a summertime treat such as a Iced Caffe' Mocha. Starbucks also offers a selection of scrumptious food that includes a range of sandwiches there are also vegetarian options too, delicious selection of paninis, looking too lovely to eat muffins, doughnuts and pastries. If that wasn't enough why not wake-up and treat yourself to a Starbucks breakfast and fresh fruit to enjoy!
Starbucks definitely try and keep the customer happy! They know customers are the key to their success! The Staff do try and make the process faster. You know that the wait was worth it as the high quality food they produce is superb!
The store is very clean, the cleaners inspect where to tidy. I like the fact that the sugar, milk work-top, etc are above the bin which makes it easier for the customers to discard their rubbish discreetly.
Over the years I have visited Starbucks I noticed the prices have increased. I feel you deserve a treat every once in a while! On the other-hand it is a fantastic place to experience a friendly atmosphere to enjoy your favourite drinks! I believe you can't find better quality that this Company offers. I have tried other competitive coffee stores, and always seem to find myself coming back to Starbucks!
