One of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to! I will NEVER be back! I have been to this location many times, and with each passing visit it only gets worse. If you're thinking of a mobile order, forget it! (DISCLOSURE: I did not read a single review by others on Yelp until. AFTER I reviewed. This review is my OWN opinion, but I see now that I am not the only one to hold it.) read more

The speed of the drive-thru has definitely improved in recent months. I go to this location daily, usually late morning, and even if there are 10 cars in line, it never takes more than 15 minutes to get through. Afternoons are definitely slower, but that's probably at least partially due to an increase in orders of frappacinos (sp?). Hopefully once the new location opens, it'll lighten the load for this location. The employees are all mostly friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and my drinks are consistently good. read more

It's really ridiculous how long the wait is each time you try to get a coffee. I have been to hundreds of different Starbucks around the county but the one in my hometown is always the slowest. The coffee always taste great and the staff are always nice but what are they not doing that other franchises are doing. I just don't get it! read more

This is the most inefficient Starbucks I've ever been to. Every time the wait time is incredible. That's not the expectation people have when they go to Starbucks. Very disappointing. read more

Ordered ahead but waited longer than people in line in the store. Haven't had this at other Starbucks locations, and all I ordered was breweed coffee. read more

These people were taking so long with my coffee and I was trying to have a conversation, like many do while they are trying to enjoy coffee and the music was outrageously loud. My ears still can't hear the same. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

This is by far the worst Starbucks I've ever been too. They get my order wrong 75% of the time. It's a very basic order not sure how it's constantly messed up. What makes it worst though is the wait. It takes at a minimum 20 minutes to get your drink, even when they're not busy and then it's wrong. And the few times it's been correct it still tastes off. I'm assuming the management here is not staying on top of quality. I've been to Starbucks all across the country, actually across the world and the drinks taste the same from place to place but not here.. they can't even get that right. Don't come here, it's always a disappointment. read more

The staff here is a group of the nicest people. Always trying to please. And yeah, it's Starbucks, so you probably know what you like or dislike, so telling you what I like is kinda drink-wise pointless, so just know that the staff is wonderful. read more

Ordered on the app and it said my order would be ready in 3-5 mins. So I got there in about 5 mins. When I got there it was busy so I was ok that my drink wasn't ready immediately but I waited an hour and my drink still wasn't ready so now I'm leaving. Will not be going back. read more

I've been to Starbucks all over the nation, and this one is easily the worst. I've given them chances. Really, I have. I've lived in Beaumont for 3 years and try Starbucks again every 3-4 months hoping for new baristas, new management, new anything at this point. It. Still. Sucks. First, this is the slowest drive thru in town. I'm talking an average of 20 minutes waiting... Even when there are only 2 cars. This is incredibly annoying. I gave Starbucks one more chance on 2/15/13. I waited 25 minutes for 3 drinks on a slow night. There were 4 baristas and one girl was making all 3 of my drinks. I watched her try to squirt caramel on my husband's macchiato and the top of the bottle popped off. She stepped on it. She picked it up. She put it back on the caramel bottle and continued using it. I was disgusted that she didn't wash it. I left, and I will never return. Take your $5 and buy a cup of coffee anywhere else in town. read more

Great service with even better attitudes! They go beyond the call of duty to make sure your happy and satisfied. Thanks!

Ridiculously slow drive thru line. We're talking up to 20 minutes sometimes and it doesn't matter what time of the day it is, there's always at least 5 cars waiting and they take forever with each order. I've been to plenty of other Starbucks locations that are prompt, efficient, and accurate with their orders (inside or drive thru) so this location needs to get it together. read more

Continuous disappointment. Starbucks why do I continue to give you my money only to deal either inconsistency in your coffee drinks and rude employees? After waiting 10 minutes for the girl to come out of the bathroom, I order $40.00 worth of gift card. She gives them to me and then goes to make a coffee. I am waiting on the receipt so I ask her If I can have my receipt. She ignores me. I ask again. She states "I heard you." If you heard me why didn't you use the most basic of customer service skills to respond and actually finish ringing me out before taking on another task? Ridiculous! When you charge people $5 bucks or more for a coffee the service service should be a step above. read more

Astronomically slow service compared to the average Starbucks. I guess when you're the only Starbucks in town you can do this. On the upside, the servers are friendly and my drink is always made exactly how I request it. read more

May I first say that they are "slow" because they are very busy. They are our only stand alone location in Beaumont. That said, I agree with the reviewer that said their service speed has improved recently. I find it depends on what time of day you go and what baristas are working. They can't all be winners, and everyone has off days. We DO need another stand alone location in central Beaumont, say... on Phelan by 23rd. read more

This is one of those Starbucks where you wait in a really long line drive thru line so it's easier to go inside and if you go there often enough they make your drink of choice before you even order. Love it. read more

I love Starbucks, especially being a college student. The wait here is never over 15 minutes which is appreciated. But, the staff is just plain rude and several times have made it clear they were not listening to a word that came out of my mouth while I was ordering. Example; I ordered a tall java chip frapp and they gave me a vanilla bean frapp... read more

Horrible... It took almost an hour to get a pumpkin spice latte . I will never ever come to this location again!!! Horrible service... Shameful... If that's the Starbucks trend then I'm done with Starbucks!!!!!!!! read more

This place seriously takes forever to get a cup of coffee. I've been to many different Starbucks and this one for some reason moves at a snails pace. Unless you have thirty minutes to spare, I suggest going somewhere else. read more

it's ok but I just like coffee not all the fancy half car, chocco, latte mess. Pricey for just a coffee and every time I go to the mid-county location I feel like it's a stalker convention. No one talking just looking around watching everybody else. read more

Extremely friendly service! Cool guy named Dustin was our cashier, and he was the most energetic and friendly person I've ever met. Best white chocolate mocha I've had in a while at my last visit. read more

This Starbucks is absolute trash PLEASE trust me when I say don't go here. Sertinos by party city on dowlen is way better and much faster. I ordered at 1:40PM it's 2:20 PM and still haven't received my drink. When I talked to the manager she didn't seem to care. I understand it can get busy but every Starbucks I've been too can have 20+ guests waiting and never takes 30 minutes to get a drink. Please trust me when I say go to sertinos read more

Went through drive through on 6/3/19 around 6:00 p.m. It was slow and they got my order wrong but I shouldn't have been rude. I apologize. MB. Please next time don't argue with me when I tell you the order was wrong. read more

What can you say but that they have the coffee game down pat, but they now have to understand that they are not the only coffee game in town ... !~ There are other options that are pretty much just as good ... But alas, I have to go there soon as a vendor for my business, Cuestick Billiard supply here in Beaumont gave me a gift card for Starbucks ... Mostly however, I just buy their coffee at the local market and use my Melitta coffee maker to make a great cup of "joe" at my home ... By the way, when I was in Seattle, I had the pleasure to meet Howard Schultz, the chairman and chief executive officer of Starbucks and get a coffee cup signed by him ... That was somewhat cool I think ... !~ read more

Do yourself a favor and just go to the Starbucks inside Kroger. The staff inside Kroger Starbucks actually cares if your drink is right or wrong. This Starbucks is most definitely the worst one I have ever been to. I asked for a little more half-half in my iced coffee and the girl thought she shut the drive-thru window all the way but it was open and I could hear her and another girl making fun of me for wanting more half-half added. Absolutely ridiculously rude staff and the longest drive-thru wait time in Beaumont. This store needs a new manager and completely new baristas. read more

Today I stood in line for fourth minutes to get two slices of gingerbread loaf only to be told they were out of that item. The drive through window was completely out of control. There were four employees working out front and four in the rear. They had two registers with just one of them being used with eight workers in the store Starbucks products aren't good enough for me to endure this again...... They need competition. read more

This location by far is the WORSE service. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks and after receiving them my husbands drink tasted like water and he ordered a double shot of espresso choc mocha. He stopped at the nearest convenient store and threw it out and got a water. The one I ordered was mostly milk! I got the sugar free vanilla latte. I suffered through half of mine and threw it out. VERY disappointed! When you pay a lot for coffee you expect it to be great! We drove 20 min to get it and it was our only reason for getting out too. VERY disappointing!!!!! Will NOT be back! PS they were NOT very busy either because all 3 ladies working were talking on their headphone sets to each other the entire time ignoring all customers. One girl was stocking one at drive through window and only one person making all drinks. The girl making the drinks never even washed out the pitchers she was mixing in. She would just pick up straight from sink and start making new ones gross!!!!!!!! read more

Good atmosphere and a great number of parking spots lol. They have automated sun blinds that come down, helping protect your eyes while enjoying a good read or typing up that important email. read more

This starbucks gets 2 stars for the 2 good employees that work here. Ok, so maybe its 3 but thats about it. This place is ALWAYS slow and on the last occasion, a lady asked what our drinks were before we made it up to the cashier like she was ready to make them.....wrong. She just stuck our cups in a line of 10. On top of that my husband asked to make sure she got his order right. She assured him she did but when she made it after 20 mins, it wasnt right. Shocker. There's a reason we tried to confirm the correctness because we know they dont get it right half the time. Maybe they should dial down the narcissism and actually listen to the customer. read more

Try to go through the drive-through and get a drink they didn't have it and no suggestions and I just sit there 15 minutes waiting so that I could get out of line. Extremely poor service read more

For the third consecutive time (and several previous times) my experience at Starbucks on Dowlen in Beaumont was a letdown. Yesterday I was surprised to see less than the usual 10-car backlog at the drive-through, so I went for it. I ordered a Grande dark roast, black. I got some kind of chocolatey syrupy goo. But I did not know that until I got to work and wanted to have my coffee. $2.27 down the drain. And the other customer who was looking forward to that morning jolt of liquid chocolate was also in for a disappointment. This morning I went into the store and got in line. It was about 7:15. About 6 staff in the store. The person who was supposed to be waiting on the counter was laughing and singing the Twelve Days of Christmas. Other employees were about equally divided between working and standing around. I placed my order, paid with a debit card, and waited. The server did not say "Oh, I'm sorry! We are out of that coffee, but I will make some -- do you have time to wait a couple of minutes?" She said nothing, turned around and was working on a coffee filter, etc. When she turned back to me she said "You're good to go." She quickly translated the "HUH?" look on my face and explained "we are making it; it will be ready in a few minutes." I said "This is the second time in a row this has happened to me. How hard is it to have the basic products ready instead of singing Christmas songs?? That is your freakin' business. I would like my money back." Then I asked for the manager, who was standing right beside the counter. I said the same things to her. Then advised it was the last time I would be visiting their store. She walked away, calling over her shoulder (with an edge of sarcasm) "I'm sorry for your inconvenience." I said "No, you're not. You think I am out of control and over the top." She did not bother to disagree with me. Farewell, Starbucks on Dowlen. To all the other Starbucks in all the airports and cities and countries I have visited, thank you for your great service. read more

I was a barista for a long time, so I know is expected (and I know how to order, thanks). These baristas are RUDE, slow, and condescending. I wasn't greeted, told to have a nice day, told what my drinks were, or even smiled at in the drive thru window. Then when my drink was wrong she never apologized, and she blamed me for not checking the screen... um no. Time to try out the other Sbux. read more

Recently new blood has been hired. Particularly the young men that work there now are much friendlier and attentive. It seems to have improved greatly. read more

Very slow service. Usually it takes at least 20 minutes to get through the drive-thru. The other day I went in the store and I waited in line for 30 minutes. Some of the staff members are unprofessional and sometimes rude. I'm giving this location two stars because despite the terrible service; they have never gotten my order wrong and they are sanitary. read more

Every time I go to this location, the staff is rude and they get my order wrong every time. I ordered two drinks through the mobile app; one a Maple Pecan Latte with just a couple Splenda in it, and the other was a Maple Pecan Frappuccino with 3 shots of espresso. All of the details of each drink are printed out on the stickers for the baristas to read, so tell me why the girl tried handing me an ICED maple pecan drink... Then when I point out that I ordered a frozen drink not an iced, she acted like she didn't even know. It says it on the label. Not to mention when I got the replacement drink, it didn't even have my shots of espresso in it. I hate this location with a passion because it's always something with them. Will they ever get there stuff together? The one on College is ten times as busy and I never have any issues with them. Someone needs to go in and retrain everybody at the Dowlen location. read more

i only go here because it is so close to my work, you cant smoke and the customer service always sucks.

someone threw coffee at me when I Literally just walked in, I hate it I would literally give it -5 stars if I could go to Taco Bell way better, they don't throw tacos when you just walk in read more
