The vibe of the cafe was cool, it was decorated with various items throughout. Plus, there was an area where you can read and/or buy books. I ordered a matcha latte and my partner picked a muffin. We got a seat by the window at the back, so that we can cool down and look at the beautiful view. The food was yummy and we enjoyed relaxing there. It felt like we were sitting at someone's home, it felt cozy and fun. Drop by here when you visit Paris, you'll love it!

However, I recommend having prices listed as no one knows exactly what they are paying on the main menu. The lady at the counter when we asked about some of the items and how much they were talked to us like we were stupid and should already know what was in some of the items, what they were and how much they were supposed to cost. I would give it another shot though, hopefully a better experience.

LOL) They do not sell a wide variety of food, but if I'm not mistaken, they did have a breakfast sandwich with eggs and bacon. On this visit, I started off good, ordering only coffee, but I told my hubby about the baked goods and just like that we got delicious treats too! Trouble, looking for a place to happen! Looks like we both have a sweet tooth!! Service is good, coffee is good, treats are fresh and very tasty. The location is not large, but it's clean - including the washrooms. The biggest downer this past summer was the constant construction on Dundas, which blocked vehicular traffic all summer long. This must surely have negatively affected the local businesses. I am grateful this one survived. I look forward to going back.s

It's been a while since I posted my review here (over 2 years ago now), and based on today's visit,…read moreunfortunately I have to downgrade my review by 1 star. In the intervening time, a lot of upscale coffee shops have cropped up, and Coffee Culture has stiff competition! They have also expanded, and I have been to another location a few times. That one is fine. We came in here today looking for the free wifi they offer on signs posted outside, but we had great difficulty getting in, and when finally we did, it was very slow and lethargic. Aside from that, the staff was polite and friendly (not to mention how patient they were as we struggled with their internet!), and although they offered to clean up the table we wanted to sit at by the window, and they were quick about it too, under the table was all kinds of garbage! Yuck! As for the food: we each got a breakfast sandwich which were tasty enough (mine was just ok), and the coffee was good although bitter near the bottom. However, the cookies were delicious! Coffee Cultures offers a combo coffee and cookie. I would absolutely get the cookie again. But with such fierce competition out there, and better access to wifi elsewhere, that cookie I order next time will probably be to go. :-( Unfortunate too, coz sometimes you just want to get off the couch and out of the house!! Oh well.

Although the coffee was really tasty (I had the medium roast), what really impressed me were the teas! What do you call those flowery jasmine scented ones that blossom in the teapot? You don't see them for sale just everywhere! I got a few as gifts; they're 70 cents each. You walk into the main serving area where you go to the counter to order and pay, and pass through to the next room where there are couches and a high table with chairs. Free wi-fi - just ask for the access code. The young man at the counter was very informative and knowledgeable, and not shy to share the details! Incidentally, they have a section of items for sale near the entry door. Usually, they carry cup sleeves which look to be hand crochet. Neat oh! However, on this visit, they were sold out. Time for me to get the needles and yarn out! Oh yeah!! Beware their hours, though: they're only open 8:00am to 5:00pm during the week, and only 8:00 - 1:00 on Saturdays. As they grow, so perhaps will their hours. I would definitely go back!
