I took my car to Star Wash for a full detail on Friday and had a great experience. Chad was very accommodating and easy to work with. I brought in a 2013 CTS Coupe that I had purchase a few weeks ago. Honestly, I thought it was clean, but wanted to give it the full treatment anyway... nothing like a fresh start. When I picked it up, it looked like a completely different car. The wheels (even the rotors and calipers) were spotless, the carpets were shampooed and the leather had been cleaned and conditioned. I've never seen a black car shine like this. Even after the sun went down that night, the car looked like it was glowing in the moonlight. For the amount of work done, the price was more than reasonable. When I picked up the vehicle, Chad was very complimentary of the vehicle itself. I have pictures of my vehicle HOURS before it was "professionally" washed, before I left the car wash with 2 huge dents and a scratch in my drivers door of all places for me to look at every day I get into my car. After speaking with the manager, I was given the run around of how experienced his employee's are, and I was offered the "manager's special" customer satisfaction wash. LOST CUSTOMER. Took my car to his shop in Corona for a complete detail. I was very disappointed. This guy takes every shot cut possible. $150 later I noticed that the following were not even touched/cleaned: Rear window, passenger door panels, rear seat. The carpets were still stained and once I got home I scrubbed and cleaned them myself. The lower part of the vehicle had no wax. I noticed this by feeling the outside with the back of my hand and you can feel the slick vs the rough untouched feel. If you hire Star Wash make sure he comes to your place where you can supervise his work. If you take it to his place is "buyer beware" If you search on craigslist in your area you can find a lot better and cheaper guys that come to your place. read more

Purchased a Full Detail on my 2001 Black BMW 530i including headlight restoration and engine detail. They did give me a call saying my lights could not be restored due to how sun damaged they were which I appreciate. Overall I would rate the job a 7/10 for the $200 I spent. They did a really good job with the clay bar and the paint was noticeably glossier. There were a few spots they missed inside and outside of the vehicle, but overall I would say I'm satisfied. read more

Yes my car was quite dirty but for $120 to detail just the inside of a two door coupe is outrageously expensive when the car came out half clean. I would say I pretty much paid for shampooing of the floor and seats. I still had to wipe down the consoles and other surfaces as they were either incompletely cleaned or were not cleaned at all. Quite disappointed especially with the ratings they received. I definitely would not recommend them. Positive thing is that the owner Chad is friendly and personable. read more
