Half of the equipment in the gym needed to be fixed and updated. The mats were dirty, and there needed to be more weights for everyone. The steam room was out of service daily, and the swimming pool was filthy. I signed up for a yoga class, and they called to cancel the same day without an explanation. I wasted my time, energy, and money. I recommend joining the One Spa Gym, which has excellent state-of-the-art equipment and a fantastic spa experience. I canceled my membership after three visits, and I paid over £100 in the joining fee, pro-rated costs, and another month on top of that. Beware of scams, and stay away from Bannatyne.

My only gripe is that it's only open until 8pm Saturday's and Sunday's, I work 12 hour shifts at weekends quite often and would love to come for a swim afterwards. I'm sure other Bannatyne's gyms are open later so that's something they could improve!
