The theater didn't have functioning air conditioning, so we (being the only people in the theater) opened the door to let cool air from outside into the room. The theater was very small, so this worked well, but they wouldn't allow us to do this (for no stated reason). Then when we said it was too hot in the theater, the owner himself of the establishment said we were just exaggerating and we were treating it like it was a big deal and it wasn't, and refused to allow us to have the door open. After the owner was so rude about the whole situation we decided to just leave the theater and not finish watching the movie, as it was so uncomfortable in the theater with the door closed. Will never return, the extra couple dollars for a real theater is worth it!

Upon walking in, I was shocked at how clean this theater was and different from any other I've been to (being that I live in NYC!) If I lived nearby, I 100% would come here just for the food. Unlike other theaters who only serve you popcorn / hot dogs / pretzels, the food here is actually amazing. In contrast to your standard theater nachos that are just tortilla chips with cheese, these actually had elevated toppings as if you were in a restaurant. The Korean bbq chicken bites were crispy and flavorful. My favorite, based on a recommendation from @onthegowithali on TikTok was the "Shame on Brie" sandwich -- a perfect mix of sweet and savory! I also loved that you can have a choice in fries or chips, and pro tip: get the beet cheese to dip the fries in, you won't regret it! This theater also has beer on tap via a self serve wall, something else I've never seen at a theater before! There's even a separate bar that has cocktails AND dirty sodas. Everything is seasonal and themed, which I absolutely loved! The theater itself was clean, spacious, and so comfortable. The seats reclining and having heating features felt luxurious and it definitely ruined me from going to any other theater other than Warehouse Cinemas. We asked if we could use them for that day. They told us yes, but the theaters were packed, so we were okay with separate seating. Then they were going to charge us for another ticket. There were three of us. I asked them to refund our money for the tickets, but was told, "Oh, we can't do that. I'll give you two passes instead of three." So, your policy states that you only give refunds up to minutes before the movie. If somebody didn't see the movie, you can tell by the pass on the computer that it wasn't used. Why can't you give them a full refund or give them three passes to see a movie another day? It doesn't make sense to me. I would like my third pass, or I'd like all my money returned. My interest was greatly piqued in seeing a show here because it's a thrust stage experience, which is rare in our area. As a community theatre director myself I wanted to see their space and how they staged the show. I want to begin doing something similar. This organization has been around nearly a century and they have a beautifully renovated space in an old train depot. They also clearly have an army of volunteers who make these shows happen. We had front row seats, putting us face-to-face with the actors, which I loved. The performance was well staged and well acted. It was a great night of both entertainment and research.
