Grapevine was one of two nanny agencies recommended to us by our hotel. Their online booking experience was easy and I found their rates more reasonable than the other nanny agency our hotel recommended. (I reached out to both and quickly compared all-in pricing.) The babysitter we were assigned, Rima, arrived on time and kept us updated on how things were going. She brought games and activities for my 7 year old daughter based on her interests, which I appreciated. The only thing that was a bit challenging is that we had to communicate with our babysitter via the Telegram app, which was new and different for me. I would have preferred WhatsApp or simple texting instead. Overall, I was happy with Grapevine and would recommend them to anyone looking for at-hotel childcare while in wine country with their children.

I felt comfortable with Grapevine from our first call. They were communicative and reassuring. We were visiting Napa for a wedding weekend. Monica was great with our 2 year old, who can be a handful. The female staff working there honestly makes it the worst. Constant attitude from the female employees at Alkar Napa for asking the most basic questions or comments like " I had an appointment at 9:30 am and it's 10:15 am" just to get a resounding response of "wait in the room and someone will be there with you shortly" . They are also very non understanding with sickness and WILL DROP YOU AS A CANDIDATE FOR CALLING IN SICK. With so MANY BETTER agencies in the surrounding area and using many of such agencies throughout the years I can say without a doubt that Alkar is the ABSOLUTE WORST place to look for work let alone if they even have any work to begin with and dealing with the staff's attitude.
