Just over a year after installation, the new pool coating is failing. There are numerous voids where the coating did not adhere to the pool shell. Those sections are now discolored, and calcium flakes are forming where air voids exist behind the coating. Best Florida Pool and Spas acid washed the surface earlier this year. This would have been an opportunity to identify the adhesion problem, but the issue was either not recognized or not communicated to me. Separately, Best Florida Pool and Spas installed a heater a few years ago that remains under warranty. The circuit board has failed. I have requested the purchase invoice needed to file a warranty claim, and they have not provided it. My recommendation to anyone considering this company: put a formal written contract in place before proceeding, so that you have clear documentation and legal recourse if problems arise.

I waited for over a month. The parts finally came in and this family owned business promptly sent one of their other sons, Marshall, who was also a service technician to fix our spa. Marshall who came over to fix our spa is an expert who took less than 30 minutes to fix our jet.
