Roots Treatment I…read morewas greeted politely and there were just a few singular holdouts left in the salon, The conduct from one of the other stylists was to be expected from an amateur void of any sense of decorum. A poorly presented seminar of her experimental drug use and that of a family member. Perhaps the client of the other stylist was having the Deep Roots Harvest treatment. Retaliation was swift with a fine cut from my hairstylist.

A True Gem in Mesquite!…read more I recently moved to Mesquite, NV from the Bay Area in December 2024, and one of my biggest concerns was finding a truly great colorist and stylist. After reading reviews and visiting several salons, I found Shear Elegance -- and I'm so grateful I did! Margie is absolutely incredible. With extensive experience and a background working all over the world as a military wife, she brings a level of skill, artistry, and confidence that immediately put me at ease. I was blown away by the results. My hair has truly never looked better -- and that's saying a lot coming from someone who has worked with top stylists in the Bay Area. The salon itself has an excellent vibe and such great energy. I've watched Margie work her magic on others as well, and she truly has a gift. Whether it's cutting, styling, or coloring, her talent is unmatched. She's not just a stylist -- she's a transformation artist. I highly, highly recommend Margie and Shear Elegance for all your beauty needs. Mesquite is lucky to have such a treasure! Sincerely, Kristel J

I had a facial and Swedish massage. both services went well and I felt very relaxed and pampered. Unfortunately I was unknowingly allergic to a product use during my facial and had dermatitis for a couple days afterwards which was a bummer. overall the experience was okay, not the greatest I've been to but they have the basics. Don't expect anything super extravagant here. Also steam rooms are co-ed so be aware if you're not comfy with that sort of thing. The staff were kind and attentive, and I think prices were reasonable as well.

My skin looks great and I would definitely request her if I had a facial here again. The spa uses Eminence Organic skincare products which are highly rated and great quality. This spa is going under renovation so I'm really excited to return again one day to see how they update the space. It is clean and the staff is friendly. It isn't the most modern spa but I like that laid back feeling and the multiple buildings are really neat. It's a really great advantage that you can order food in the relaxation room and have your own snacks.

Her attention to detail is fantastic. Each nail is done with perfection and matched for size and shape. Not one "wonky" nail to drive me crazy. I love stiletto nails but they don't look nice if they aren't done well and Nina does them very, very well. I am very happy with Nina and the salon is clean and well arranged. You are made comfortable in comfy areas instead of lined up in pedicure chairs like an assembly line. The separate areas are designed so you have privacy so you can feel free to chat without feeling everyone is listening. There is no overriding hum of conversation and folks talking over one another. It's clear that the owner takes pride in the salon and staff. It took a while to find Nina but I'm happy I did!
