Worst manicure I've had in a long time. My nails were cut a little shorter (per my request). But...some were cut rounded and uneven, some were squared up. Nothing was uinform. Did nothing to my cuticles and polish starting chipping within the first 24 hours. read more

They need to be Friendlier, kinder, less rude. My friend and I walked in to get my friend a pedicure. We were dismissed as if we were vermin. She didn't even ask what we needed. They don't really talk to you and scramble to find someone who wants to do your nails if your a walk in. They speak to each other in they're language which is fine with me since I prefer not to talk anyways but throwing it out there for those who may find this uncomfortable. They charge for length, type of polish and any designs ($50+) They add barely acrylic in my opinion I was a loyal customer to my nail tech back home so I can tell what's a thin application. read more

I live out of state and when I come to mesquite I have gone to this place a couple of times. I called last month and scheduled an appointment with Sheila and my sister with Nina. These women were great when we used them in the past. Went to our appt yesterday where I specifically said that we had appointments and with whom they were with. NEITHER of us got the people we requested. Sheila was "not there" and Nina was and did stop over to say hello but did not do the pedicure even though my sister said that she was booked for it. I was sent to a man who did my nails nicely but it was not whom I booked with. The technician working with my sister literally said she was hungry during the pedicure and got up and took a break. WHAT A JOKE!! We do not recommend this place and will book our next appointments elsewhere. Also, all of the tools were not sanitized. read more

We had appointments for pedicures and one gel manicure. 45 minutes after our appointment time, we were still sitting at pedicure chairs with our feet in cold water. My husband nicely asked how much longer it would be since we had appointments 45 minutes prior. The woman whose job it seems to be to be on the internet and answer the phone, snorted a snarky laugh. We were going to leave but then a woman started my husband's pedicure so we decided that we'd stay having waited so long. The snarky woman then said loudly to another client that some people just "don't understand the business model." What business model is that? The one where you take walk-ins and make clients who have scheduled appointments wait 45 minutes? Or the business model where you are rude and insulting? Or maybe it's the cold water pedicure business model. I was going to have my nails done and we just decided we'd had enough, paid and left. Even without the delay and rude behavior there is zero chance we will ever go back to this place. It didn't seem very clean and the pedicure was mediocre at best. Attached is a photo of my big toe AFTER the pedicure. Very little work on cuticle, foot bed and sloppy polish application. Not impressive. Don't waste your time or your money. read more

I went to Chrome because I wanted a powder dip but it was so not worth it! I have cuts on my cuticles, it hurt and I won't ever go back. It took about 45 minutes to get my old polish off - it never takes that long at my previous salon. They use the dremel way too much - that hurt too. read more

Was a walk in for gel mani/reg pedi. Took me immediately. Pretty painful cuticle work on my feet. Tried to talk me out of colour choice for my feet. Drew blood on two cuticles on my fingers. No apologies! Ask for trim for finger nails, went to extreme, but I don't mind starting fresh for the spring. Again was pushed hard for her colour choice. It's done, looks great but was more like a visit to the dentist on the relaxation scale! read more

Wow... don't walk in and ask for a Pedi. The place was full, the lady asks " hollered" across the whole area what do you want? I said, a pedicure? She very loudly said " not now maybe later tomorrow" everyone was starring! Just rude.. I've been there before and loved it. I won't be going back after that. read more

yeah this place sucks. the girl that did my nails was very agressive while filing my nails my nail started bleeding. she saw that it was bleeding and still kept going aggressively. u can see my real nail underneath the acrylic and the application was not very smooth! the french tip was done poorly and it was NOT worth $60. do NOT come here. you have a better chance doing it yourself. read more

Had a pedi deluxe and it was so fantastic!!! My daughter and I both had the same treatment and I'm telling you for 45.00 it was so worth it!! They spent an hour and a half on us massaging gave us a hot towel treatment and a hot rock rub on our calves and feet. Was so amazing. The girls were very pleasant and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Would tell anyone looking for a mani or pedi that this is the place to go in mesquite!!! read more

I am torn. The ladies who actually do the nails are nice and do a good job but there is a woman there who puts a huge damper on the atmosphere and overall experience. I am not sure if she is the owner or manager but for the sake of describing my experience I will refer to her as such. Before yesterday, I had been about three times. The owner/manager often sits in the work area eating microwaved food out of tupperware, watching tv (laughing loudly) and playing games on her phone with the sound really loud (think bells, jackpots, sirens). Ok, not the end of the world but unprofessional and not relaxing. Yesterday, I had two appointments at noon. My niece was in town visiting from college and I wanted to get her a pedi while I was going to get a mani/pedi. When I made the reservation I explained we wanted appointments at the same time and actually let them pick the time to accomodate what we were looking for. We got there a few minutes before noon. There were two ladies working. One was doing a manicure with what appearred to be another customer waiting. The other was giving a pedi to the owner/manager lady. The manicurist set up our foot soaks and proceeded to go back to the owner/manager lady. I thought, surely they are going to put paying customers with concurrent appointments ahead of grooming each other?????? Nope. We sat there in our rapidly cooling water tub of water until 1245 ..a full 45 minutes past our appointment time. The manicurist finally finished the owner/manager (who continued to sit there the whole time playing games on her phone I could hear two chairs over). As the manicurist finished and came towards us, I asked "Do you have someone else coming so we can both do these at the same time?" She said "no, we had someone call in sick". The other manicurist who had just finished with the first nail client and was just starting the second one said "I will come over to you when I am done." So, at this point, I knew I would not have time for both my manicure and pedicure so I said "Well, I need a manicure far more than a pedicure so I will settle for that. " I sat there, unaddressed for the next 25 minutes (still listening to the phone games) while my niece's pedicure was finished. We walked out at 1:15 with one pedicure done. Here is my deal - I get that people get sick and businesses get short staffed. I can be one of the most patient customers you will ever see but to let a customer with an appointment (for two!) sit there for a long time while a worker tends to another worker (with absolutely no sense of concern or urgency) while the customer sits unacknowledged shows a lack of respect for the customer. Even though I specifically made two appointments at the same time, I would have been understanding and would have agreed to one appointment after the other had we been addressed at our appointment time. To have us sit there for 45 minutes and finish an employee/owner and then expect to start sequential appointments was very offputting. When I got up at 1:15 and paid for the one pedicure , the manicurist was very apologetic. It wasn't her fault. She was obviously told by the manager/owner to do her pedicure first. The manager/owner could have, at any time, stopped her own service to pick up later, but did not. That's what a well run business would do. We won't be back. If you decide to go, give yourself some time and bring ear plugs. read more
