She asked me to wait a min, opened a drawer and gave me lots of samples. She also invited me to sign up for this free membership thing to get discount? She's a MAC makeup artist at this specific store, but I never purchased anything from this store or from her. She shared with a group of friends about a BELK promotion in the makeup dept (20% off!!) She and I were talking and I decided to jump in and order something. Margaret is amazing and we discussed several products. I called up and spoke to a colleague of hers and got stellar service despite that I wasn't just a random customer. I got samples of a couple of products to test drive and I know I will order at least 2 more things (another great lip color and this killer MAC eye cream.). Margaret kept me in the *where is my package/Shipping loop since I live on the West Coast and this counter is on the East coast. It took a while to get here but that was ok. When I got the package I was very pleased at the way it was packaged and it came intact with no leaks, melting or broken products. I love that I have found a way to buy MAC again. After walking in we quickly were helped, and were the sales person was able to identify the scent that I knew of, but did not know the name. So absolutely fantastic that he knew exactly what I was talking about and exactly what I needed and was able to locate it. We ended up getting a hair mask as well as a perfume. And lucky on this day they were doing free engraving. My picture show the engraving of our names. However, you could have chosen almost anything. There was even choices as fonts and colors and sizes, etc.. Along with our purchase, we got a couple of samples as well, which was great. And everything was so nicely packaged in their cute shopping bags with the colored tissue. If I'm ever back here again, I will definitely be stopping at the store. They've always loved this brand and their products. But now I get to love it directly from them as opposed to doing it through a department store.

They have a huge selection of products to choose from. Their prices are competitive and they normally have pretty good deals on braid hair, ex: buy 3 get one. It's not located in the greatest area of town. However it's very close to I-75, so you can hop off and hop right back on! Like most other beauty supply stores they have expanded to carry non traditional beauty items too, i.e. clothes and shoes. The clothing and shoes I saw looked very cheap. So unless I was just really pressed I wouldn't bother with that. Just stick to the hair stuff and call it a day!
