I have gone back to this store and I am impressed, I don't have the pants back yet but being open from 7:30am each week day through to 5:30pm is better than quite a few other places and it makes it easy for people working 9-5 to get there without having to leave work early. Pricing is the same $11 for pants clean plus $8 for the repair, still short of the $20 EFTPOS minimum but I'd be prepared to give a $1 tip to get there and support the local business rather than another that doesn't get the job done properly. So with the all or nothing approach I decided to venture to a local laundromat with not only the blanket but also all my curtains. I liked this one and would go there again when the need arises. It's off the road in a small block of shops with parking right out the front. I walked in and it was clean and tidy. I put on 3 machines with curtains and one with the blanket. Then walked next door to get a drink from the deli while I waited. Best part was being able to use a few machines at once (they have double and even triple load machines so fit more in each load as well) so I did the equivalent of I think 10 loads in the time it takes to do one. Dryers are huge and worked really well. Big tip thought before you go - take LOTS of coins!!!! I took heaps and still had to ask the nice man in the deli next door for some extra.
