You don't want to do business with Star Detail!
Set up an appointment for the next day - full detail on a Honda Odyssey - and was told Mike, the person doing the detail, to bring it in between 0900-0930 hrs.
I brought it in the next morning at 0915 and the owner took the keys and placed the work on a dry erase board along with my telephone number. I was to return at the end of day to pick up.
I returned at 1630 to pick up the Odyssey and saw that NOTHING had been done to it. I asked Mike if he'd called me and he said he was about to. When I pressed the issue, and asked why I hadn't been called, the owner said that he had just told Mike a few minutes before to call me and tell me that it would be done the next day.
Thus, I was without transportation for a complete day and didn't get a car wash, or a vacuum or a shampoo . . . or more to the point, a telephone call letting me know they were overbooked, or Mike had an accident thus was behind, etc..
Star detail appears to be a shade tree operation and not the type of place you want to take your car - unless your time cost is extremely low.
