We moved our kids here after being at Center Stage Dance Academy for a year and are so glad we did. We liked the teachers, schedules and the end of year show so much more. The teachers here are energetic, prepared, interact with the parents and very patient with the children. 1st off, they have a large "lobby" that is big enough to accommodate all the nosey, and not so nosey, parents who want to watch their kids through large windows into their classrooms. Aubrienne was awesome with my daughter and all the girls in that class. She is energetic and always prepared. It seemed she really likes her job. Erin (I think) was also very patient with my son (yes, my son was in dance). He was the only boy in the class, and they made sure to give him a role that did not turn him into a ballerina. Besides, there were several older boys in other classes too so he wasn't the only boy at the school. We were so happy with their end of the season show. It was pretty awesome. It's done in the auditorium at Hart HS. We did 2 seasons here and loved both shows. The first time they actually had the end of year show live streamed on the internet. Pretty cool. It is quite a large production which is amazing and it is a reward for the parents and kids for all their hard work leading up to it. We took some time off from dance to try a sport but my daughter has been begging us to bring her back so we'll be back next season. Looking forward to it! read more

My 5 year old daughter loves dancing at Star. There is also a nice lobby for parents. All of the teachers that I've seen have been great! So far we've only gone to one recital but it was a lot of fun! Today as we were leaving class, my daughter said "Miss Erin is my favorite teacher ever!" Miss Erin is a great teacher making it fun yet still keeping all the kids in order and paying attention. I think we'll be continuing to dance here for a while. read more

My daughter had her first class today and she absolutely loved it! She's 2 1/2 and has been asking to take ballet for sometime now. Even getting a little upset when dropping big brother off at the "valet" line at school and questioning why we weren't at ballet. Ms. Erin definitely has a special kind of patience with these littles, I'm glad my Belly-rina was so engaged and focused. We've already signed up for the rest of the year! We love Star Dance Center. We live about 10 miles away. However, we travel here because my daughter likes it here. The office staff and very nice, approachable and professional. The facility is clean, has plenty of space to wait during class and have plenty of parking. My daughter Aralyn has ballet class here and she loves her teacher Ms. Elizabeth. Star Dance Center was part of my daughter's 2nd birthday celebration and Miss Erin was super sweet as well as Miss Katy! The girls had a blast dancing and enjoying free movement time! We officially started at Star Dance Center at the end of January and has been in love with tap/ballet and the staff there especially her teacher Miss Katy! She is the youngest in the class so there's always those moments that she is in her own world, but Miss Katy always get her attention back. I wanted to drop a quick review because I thought the instructor for my 3 year old daughters class this weekend did a great job in handling the class and my daughter while she was being difficult and not cooperating during her first time trying out the class. The instructor did terrific at keeping the other kids engaged and not letting my child ruin the class for the other kids and at the same time she kept encouraging my child to participate and did not leave her out or give up on her. I felt that the instructor went above and beyond and eventually my child warmed up to the class and got involved. I have seen other instructors and other dance studios totally give up on kids and isolate them off to the side and I am very impressed that this young lady handled the whole class so professionally. read more

We love Star Dance Center! What an amazing dance studio for kids! It is very organized and professional. The studio is beautiful; it has a large area for parents to watch their kids dancing through the window. Everyone who works there create warm and welcoming environment. My daughter started taking classes when she was 2.5 years old. She had several teachers over few years, and they all were wonderful. Miss Erin is amazing, she is the owner of the studio and works so hard make sure that everything is organized and kids truly enjoy their classes. She teaches a lot of classes for little kids. She structures her class the way that little ones learn, don't get bored, enjoy dancing and have so much fun. Miss Lori is fantastic! Her smile is contagious! She will go above and beyond to help and answer all the questions. She is so uplifting, kind, positive, welcoming and makes you feel like you are family.
