We thought it was a nice place to learn but then the instructor, I forgot her name, probably Linda was punishing my daughter because she couldn't clap and stomp her feet altogether. She kept asking my daughter to repeat the moves over and over while other girls sitting down on the floor and tap my daughter's forehead couple of times. My daughter cried. She was so scared. Then I asked linda what happened she replied oh its ok she needs to practice thats all. Mind you, my daughter was only 4 years old that time. This class supposed to be fun for these kids,not stressful. And we cancelled the class even though we still have 4 more class to attend (we only attended the class 3 times). So we decided to see if we liked the personnel and the atmosphere. We loved the personnel and the dance instructors. They were warm, friendly and fun. Because of their enthusiasm and friendliness we signed up for 15 lessons. They offer a variety of dances, they are patient, and enjoy teaching and they have lots of events and classes throughout the week. We highly recommend the Arthur Murray dance studio in Valencia on Newhall Road! Dancing at this studio with the instructors and owners feels like family!

And if they are, maybe they're running a money laundering operation because it seems that they have absolutely no interest in actually conducting the business they claim their in which, I believe, is offering dance lessons. If you like being ignored and frustrated, then I highly recommend attempting to reach out to these people who have no customer service skills or professionalism to speak of.

The teachers are great and the staff is very responsive when it comes to emails. There is also a portal for you to use when looking at classes, your account, etc. Also, as a working parent, I appreciate that this place actually has wifi when waiting for your child (this is HUGE). The studio just wrapped up a Peter Pan theme recital. It was an amazing production and you can tell how much work the staff and kids put into it. Unfortunately COVID came into our world just 6 months later. But the studio kept my daughter interested via Zoom classes. In or out of the studio, the loving staff kept her heart interested in dance a wanting more. Months later when she was finally back in the studio she wanted to learn more genres. By the summer of 2021 she wanted to try out for their Competition Team and made it. She has always been treated with love, support and grace by the staff and other dancers. It didn't matter if she was a recreation dancer or on team. They all support each other and cheer each other on. On another note, my daughter's dad is a quadriplegic and utilizes a wheelchair. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure everything is accessible in the studio and on location. My daughter has never been bullied or teased. Being the new girl with absolutely no experience when she started and a disabled parent, you might as well put a bullseye on her; but she's always experienced love and acceptance from everyone in the studio and has made the best friends over the past few years. If your child is interested in dance, this is a great place to grow.

This was a great gym, however the owner has let it go over the last year. I wrote a review at the…read morebeginning of the year stating how dirty the gym was., however the owner responded and had it cleaned, so i removed the review. Since then, it has progressively gotten to a point where it is the worst it has ever been. The only cleaning this gym gets is the employees empty the trash. All the other cleaning is left to the members who are good about wiping down the machines. However don't look at the floor, vents, or corners, or the lower parts of any machine, as they have not been cleaned in months. I have pictures I have taken of crumbs by a machine in the open that has been there for months. Its so dirty, i decided it was time to give the new Planet Fitness a try. I know many others are talking about the same issues and hoping it gets fixed, before they decide to leave as well. **Update/ Response**Thank you for your response. You are correct the one picture of the elliptical was from earlier in the year when I left my last review and deleted it after you cleaned the gym and I stated this in my review, however all the other pictures are from last week, including what you call a mat, you said you haven't had in 2 years. It is not a mat, its the base of a podium type stand next to the cubicles by the front entrance. It does look like it hasn't been cleaned in 2 years though . Not sure who the new management is since you have been there for years. You have obviously chosen to ignore the cleanliness of the gym, as I am not talking about it being dirty from overnight, I am talking and showing pictures of things that have not been cleaned in months. I didn't take pictures of the area in front of the treadmills or the speakers by the stretching area or every corner or lower part of each piece of equipment. They are all disgusting.
