We have been with Center Stage for several years and just love them so much, The teachers are all extremely professional and take the time to make corrections so that the dancers are taught the correct way and to prevent injuries. The recitals are top tier and a must see!!! I would highly suggest taking your dancers here. read more

My daughter and I moved to Santa Clarita about a year ago, and I spent a lot of time researching ballet and dance studios in the area before choosing one. Center Stage stood out as one of the more reasonably priced options, and I'm so glad we chose it! My two-year-old absolutely loves the ballet, tap, and tumbling class for ages 2-3. Since she doesn't speak English yet, I was a little worried that she might have trouble following along, but she has such a wonderful time and is always excited to go back. The teachers are incredibly sweet, patient, and welcoming, and they've made her feel so comfortable. The other parents have also been kind and friendly, creating a warm and supportive environment. On top of that, the owner is always pleasant and welcoming. We've had such a positive experience and would definitely recommend Center Stage to other families looking for a great dance studio. read more

We have had such an amazing experience at Center Stage! The entire studio feels incredibly supportive and positive, which is so refreshing, especially in the competitive dance world. The teachers truly care about the kids and you can feel the sense of community among the dancers and families. It's been so special watching my girls grow in their confidence and love for dance, and we feel really lucky to be part of this studio. I genuinely can't recommend Center Stage enough! read more

Center Stage is a great dance studio and our family would highly recommend them to anyone interested in improving/growing your dance skills.

We've been going to this studio since 2023. We started with ballet when our child was 2-5, and now we're doing hip-hop. It's a wonderful place, with a very pleasant atmosphere, like being part of one big family. Our child enjoys going. I highly recommend it! read more

Amazing dance studio! My daughter joined the studio with a little dance experience and in 2 years she blossomed! She made the high school dance team! Kari and Ginger are the best, you can see that they really love what they do at Center Stage. Their passion for dance is displayed through their students. Lot of camaraderie and feels like a big family, talented teachers and very reasonably priced imo. No parents allowed in the classes which I think is good, you can watch from TVs in the lobby. Staff is lovely. read more

My daughter has been coming to Center Stage Dance Academy since we moved to the area in 2021. We took a little break and came back. My daughter loves the tumbling and jazz classes. The teachers are great and the staff is very responsive when it comes to emails. There is also a portal for you to use when looking at classes, your account, etc. Also, as a working parent, I appreciate that this place actually has wifi when waiting for your child (this is HUGE). The studio just wrapped up a Peter Pan theme recital. It was an amazing production and you can tell how much work the staff and kids put into it. My daughter says she LOVES being on stage and now wants to take all the classes! Thanks so much! read more

This is our 3rd dance studio and by far it has been the TOP BEST experience not only for my 7 year old but as a parent as well. Center Stage is well organized studio with clear communication & no hidden fees. Every detail is pretty clear. Which has not been my experience at other studios. Each teacher is amazing from the front desk to the classroom. They have a way of connecting with each child. They are all so patient, fair, and caring with each student and parent. They really all love what they do and it shows. The recitals are well put together and amazing to watch. Competition team expectations are clear, organized, and no hidden fees. My daughter really loves and enjoys learning and preforming. Her favorite class is musical theater with Ms. Ginger and loves to take makeup classes with Andy. Kari the owner has done an amazing job with her studio and my daughter can't wait to take classes with her as she gets older. We finally found our home where my daughter could grow and enjoy what she loves. Thank you Center Stage for all that you do for our kids! First year down, and looking forward to many more. read more

Center Stage Dance Academy - Peter Pan Recital 2023 - Dance Studios Near Me - Stevenson Ranch, California

We found Center Stage Dance Academy during COVID and was very impressed with their online classes. They were teaching my 3-yr-old the proper terms for ballet moves and kept her engaged via Zoom. Once dancers were allowed back in the studio, they were just as great in person. My daughter has taken ballet, tap, tumbling, hip hop, and more and LOVES it. The instructors are fabulous and my daughter looks up to the "big kids" and wants to be just like them. Thank you Center Stage for everything you do! read more

This studio is amazing. Kari and her team of amazing dance teachers are much more than leadership at a dance studio. They are mentors and confidantes to the dancers. CSDA offers a safe space for children to dance, make friends, smile, and learn to support each other in a bully-free, environment where positivity is not only encouraged but emphasized. The dance classes are amazing, the instructors care deeply about each child, and families are encouraged to spread kindness and care , and support all of the dancers. Whether it is dancing for fun, dancing for exercise, competition teams, or dancing for other personal reasons, CSDA cannot be recommended highly enough. read more

Center Stage Dance Academy has been my daughters home away from home for the last 7+ years. Kari and Ginger have become like family. They have a culture of inclusion and kindness, all while learning award winning dances in competitive dance. They are so good with the little ones and the big ones. I cannot say enough about the growth of my daughter as a dancer and as a person. I love this studio and feel blessed everyday that we are part of such an amazing dance community. read more

This place is great Speaking both as a parent and someone who has danced professionally, I am really, really impressed with this studio. The quality of dance instruction and the affordability of this place are *very, very good.* We were satisfied at a previous studio, but decided to try to this place due to the better prices and location, and I was so impressed with how quickly my daughter's technique improved and how her dance vocabulary grew. Night and day. They use the proper French ballet terms, even with the three-year-olds, enough so that my toddler understands and can perform several of them by name. It's not just fluff, they are working to make great dancers. That's a big deal to me. This Studio is the best deal in town. They have a generous make-up policy, they offer costume *rentals* for their dance recitals, which cuts cuts down on costs significantly, and their regular monthly prices are the best we've seen. This studio has a caring, inclusive community. We feel welcome here and not in competition either with other parents or other dancers. They have been kind enough to make accommodations for us due to religious observances, etc. and we know they have done so for other families. If there's an issue, we know that we can bring it to the staff and we will be heard, and we take great comfort in that. We've seen them do the same for others. They've recently expanded and we are happy to see their growth. For how they treat their dancers and families, they deserve it. We heartily recommend the place. read more

We have been thrilled to have our daughter be a part of Center Stage Dance Academy! She started at 2 years old and the teachers were so patient and kind as she figured out how to follow directions and mirror the dance moves. Our daughter is autistic and the teachers were so helpful in finding creative tools to help her participate and overcome challenges. She just had her 4th dance recital and we saw amazing improvements! She was able to do the choreography and loved every minute of being a part of the show! We are about to increase to two classes a week; The teachers are awesome and we are so thankful we found this dance studio! read more

My daughter came here for almost a year and was enrolled in the Monday morning class. It was our first experience with a dance studio so we were relatively inexperienced. However, we learned eventually that there are better options out there as far as kids dance studios go. Let me start by saying the staff member at the front desk was ALWAYS friendly, warm and seemed to enjoy her job. I cannot say the same for the teachers. In fact, I can honestly say that I never had one conversation that lasted longer than one word with either of them, the entire year. I never even knew their names. They never smiled, even when smiled at, and never made an effort to interact with any of the parents that came every week and waited outside during class. In addition, it appeared that they were young & inexperienced themselves, as they didn't always seem to be prepared and were teaching the classes on the fly, while discussing their past weekend activities. Inexperience is ok, but when you are providing a service and don't make up for it in effort or kindness, that simply doesn't cut it. The "lobby" only had about 8 seats, it was very small and the classes were behind closed doors. The parents weren't welcomed inside, which I understand can be a huge distraction for the kids, so we had to watch the classes on a small TV monitor that was mounted high up on the wall and it was kinda hard to see. It was challenging to say the least. The end of the year show at West Ranch HS was awesome but I feel like every parent feels that way when they see their kid on stage performing. I sure did. That goal is kinda hard to miss. After the show, we learned that most of the other families weren't happy and were pulling their kids. So after some brief research, we moved over to Star Dance Center and are happier there. Let's hope they make some changes here. read more

Center Stage Dance Academy is the first dance school I've taken my child to, and they welcomed her with open arms. Over the past year she's been there, she has performed in two recitals, and her level of confidence has grown. She's made wonderful friends and enjoys being there. I highly recommend Center Stage Dance Academy for anyone looking for a safe space for their child to be creative. read more

My daughter has been to a number of dance studio in SCV. She has been dancing since age 3, and she is now 14. After her knee injury, we had to find a studio and teacher who would pay special attention to her needs and dance level. Since she started to work with Kari and Center Stage Dance Studio, she has not only recovered but excelled! You will not find an nicer, kinder or more patient teacher than Kari. Even the students are exceptionally kind and welcoming. For the aspiring dancers, this is the place to be!!! read more

My girls (age 8 and 6) have been going to Center Stage for a year and a half. They started with one class and now attend almost every class type because they love going there. Kari runs the studio and she treats everyone like family. The rest of the teachers are also patient and kind. You can tell they love kids and love to dance. The recitals are great because it's a full show (Peter Pan, Snow White, Cinderella) vs a bunch of random dances. The prices are so reasonable and you don't have to buy a bunch of expensive recital costumes they will never wear again. Highly recommend! read more

Center Stage is not only a place for dance classes, the teachers and other students are very friendly and kind to one another! I'm twelve years old and attend Center Stage, and every moment I've been there was like meeting your best friends for a slumber party! As for the teachers, they instruct everyone very well and give great advice! So not only is Center Stage a place for dance classes, it is also a place where you can create new friends and enjoy yourself to the fullest! read more

My 4yo son has been taking Hip Hop at Center Stage for about seven months now. He loves going, which makes me so happy! He thoroughly enjoys the class which incorporates stretching, choreographed dance (to go along with recitals), freestyle dancing, and some tumbling. All of the teachers are welcoming and friendly. It really feels like a family there without any attitude or snootiness which is comforting. Yes, the viewing area is small, but they've recently mounted a larger TV which allows you to view the kids better in the studio (we were allowed to sit and watch in the studio the first two weeks when starting). The recitals are adorable and I appreciate the low-cost rentals for the outfits instead of being forced to buy an overpriced outfit. Even the photoshoots for the recitals are well managed. I foresee us staying with Center Stage for quite some time! read more

After reading so many positive reviews on Center Stage Dance Academy, we decided to give this place a shot.... and so glad we did! We were so lucky to have found this place! Kari is just the sweetest, as are the rest of the team of dance instructors. We were worried about our super shy 3 year old and how she would do in a dance class, but they are so patient with her and really great at engaging all the little ones. Also, a MAJOR plus for us (full time working, commuting parents) is that they have Saturday classes, which seems to be a rare offering, but exactly what we needed! Thank you to all of you at Center Stage - our girl loves it there! read more

I'm so thankful for the studio and even though I have not been with them long I've had such a great experience so far. They are so welcoming and it is never a dull day with the girls in my class. Everyone is so patient and kind, quite honestly I wish I found this studio a long time ago, they made me realize that my passion is bigger than I originally thought. Thank you to everyone at Center Stage. read more

This is my daughter's second season with Center Stage and our experience has been awesome. My daughter is in Tumbling 2 and Hip Hop 1 and her teachers are amazing. The office staff is always helpful and always straight to the point. I also appreciate their concern about following rules and enforcing the appropriate dress code for each dance class. As soon as the staff sees that the children are not following dress code rules, they remind us with a kind and straight to the point email. read more

I love Center Stage Dance Academy. My daughter has been attending here for a few months and we both like it here. All teachers are super kind and very engaging with the students. Center Stage has been such a wonderful experience for my son. He has been coming to tap classes for over a year and loves every minute of it! Kari and her staff of excellent teachers make my son feel comfortable (when he is the only boy in the class), and his dance skills have improved tremendously. The teachers approach their classes with positivity and kindness and are genuinely invested in seeing the kids succeed. The price per month for classes is much less than many studios in the SCV and I feel the attention and training my son has been given is MUCH MORE than many studios in this area. Recitals are not mandatory, costume fees are minimal and costumes are always age appropriate. I am so thankful to have found this studio, it is just the perfect place for my son. Thank you Kari! read more

As a parent of an 11 year old girl and 8 year old boy, I'm thrilled with finding this gem of a dance studio. The owners are very helpful, have great attitudes, and are top of the line teachers. There are a broad variety of classes for kids wanting fun and exercise or something more challenging and competitive. It's casual and relaxed, but teachers know what they're doing. I'm looking forward to our family participating in all they offer. Even a beginner adult hip hop class! I have high hopes that we'll be here for a good long while! read more

If you are searching for a dance studio for your child, look no further! My daughter has danced with several of the studios in Santa Clarita, and Center Stage Dance is far and above the best, while also being the most affordable!! Center Stage has been wonderful for my daughter! Kari is such an experienced and caring teacher and my daughter's tap dancing skills have improved tremendously. (she came from another studio so she already had been dancing for awhile) Kari even gave private lessons to my 2 daughters to help them prepare for a theater dance scene audition which was awesome and definitely helped them be thoroughly prepared for it. We've gone to other dance studios and I feel the cost at Center Stage is very reasonable and the teachers work hard to make sure the kids have fun and learn at the same time. So glad we found this place! read more
