Day of, they texted and key me know they were an hour behind schedule getting started, which wasnt a big deal, I appreciated the communication. After they finished they had me do an inspection, however I had another obligation that I had to get to so didn't get the chance to do a deep walkthrough. After they left I started going through the place. yes, fan blades were dusted but the light fixtures themselves were not. The white trim baseboard was not wiped down or dusted. The floor was "mopped" but that was all. Any dirty spots were not scrubbed clean just wiped down. Vents were completely untouched and the washing machine was not wiped down at all. Since the move out cleaning I've spent 2 hours re cleaning and ill need to go back over today and spend another hour or two before it's completely done. Im by no means a clean freak but I do expect tenants to have a clean space to move into. This was my first time hiring a cleaning service and I learned a valuable lesson. You get what you pay for.

As we arranged this cleaning, I reiterated several times the exact tasks to perform, even provided a written, bulleted task list that included my providing an unscented cleaning product due to allergies and the need to clean "all internal glass surfaces." Once the cleaner arrived, I told them to contact me by phone or text with any questions/ issues and they confirmed. They started cleaning and a while later I checked to see how things were going and noticed they had not used my unscented cleaning agent "because it was a concentrate" and they "couldn't mix it" with the appropriate amount of water. I have no idea why nor do I understand why they wouldn't contact me to have me mix it. So, smelly room that I had to mop again myself with the unscented cleaner. They also did not wash all the windows because a couple were "too high" and their insurance wouldn't cover that task. Seems like they could have mentioned that as other service providers did, while we set up the job. But not a word. So, after I mopped the floor again to remove the smell, I had to clean the upper windows that I had believed were to be cleaned. Again, simple single room clean, because I don't have the time to do it but I had to, anyway. Lesson learned - won't be using this service again.
