I was impressed. The outside didn't look like much but inside it looked like a Best Buy with a pharmacy in the back. Employees were very nice and helpful. Use the website to order ahead as that line moves twice as fast. They were busy. The facility is clean and feels new. Emerald is organized and they offer both recreational and medicinal THC products. I bought a product for sleep and my bud tender was knowledgable. Parking is in the front. I will be back next year. read more

I was very impressed with this place. Hubby and I came through when in town. The outside doesn't do the inside justice. It looks like a hole in the wall mess outside, but once you go inside it's all a whole different ballgame. You'll be asked for your ID. The lady was super friendly and explained how to order and what to do (since it was our first time). We went inside and looked around and took note of what we wanted. We waited for another lady to come by with an ipad and ask for our name, what we wanted, and answered all questions. When we were finished giving her our order, we were sent through the other door to the last room. They had a huge line that actually went pretty quickly. The efficiency showed was insane! When it was our turn, they asked for our name, got our order from the system, and came back with a bag of all our goodies. They did a check of everything and done. Great stop! Being from out of town, we stopped here on our way toward Salida. It was definitely the lunch time crowd just after noon and the line was substantial. So if can avoid that time, do it. We waited under a tent in a snaking like in the parking lot. Hmmm... not very welcoming but okay. The selection was great and easy to find. Prices were on par with what I pay for in Chicago. They could use the interior space better. The immediate area where they help you is small bit the display cases made it easy to see what products are available (helpful to us visual folks). But then you walk into the area to pay and it's HUGE. Despite the crowds I didn't wait long for them to pull together my order and pay. Not a pleasant experience, products are too pricey and staff lacks basic customer service skills. Most dispensaries don't operate the way this one does and there's a reason for it. Our experience starts with the fact that this was one of the few dispensaries in the area that's open til midnight. That seems great until you realize that's because you may as well be waiting until midnight to get through the line to even ask the bud tender what you want. When you enter the building, they send you to lobby to look at what they have on display and their menus, and THEN you see the bud tender when you're ready to order. Normal dispensaries will have multiple bud tenders on hand so they can help you find what you want one-on-one. Not here. Once you figure out what you want after looking through their overpriced options that have stuff I have purchased before for way less at other places, hopefully you remember what it was because you'll be in for a wait since they had like 3 bud tenders on staff with 2 for online orders and 1 for walk-in. The bud tender with the SnapBack hat, gauges in her ears, pale and just mostly wearing black took FOREVER. When it was finally our turn, we had let her know that we had a cash and card purchase to make with our financial situation. She said it was fine at first and then we paid for a cart with cash and wanted to get some edibles on card, but all of a sudden she switched up and said we couldn't do it saying they could only have 1 purchase a day or some rule/policy they had. Confused and irritable with the wait we just left and let them know that doesn't happen at most places we go to but okay. She then tells us that because we were freshly 21 we wouldn't know how they operate and that's how it normally is. Firstly, we were 22 about to be 23 so that tells us she barely looked at our IDs, good job there. Secondly, we've been to multiple dispensaries in Colorado since we are locals, but hardly are we in the Springs. I understand she's essentially alone and there's a long line, that's why we were patient. But a remark like that that is condescending as if we've never been in a dispensary before was just completely uncalled for. No matter how good the weed is or how late they're open, there are multiple dispensaries that are WAAAYYYY better and actually know how to function properly and it's not worth the wait and dealing with the staff and their customer service or lack their of. Take it from an experienced local, there's better out there for a lot cheaper and way cooler staff. read more

its currently 5:51pm the store hours PER THIER WEBSITE on Christmas is 10am to 6pm. i placed an online order at 5:23pm for pickup at 5:45pm i arrived at 5:41pm. Upon walking up to the entrance there was an employee standing at the door with it locked saying they've just locked the doors to start closing down and all customers that were inside and hadn't even placed orders where the only ones they were taking. I asked why if your store is open until 6pm and it states that on their website and why do you allow customers to place orders knowing they won't be able to pick anything up. he stated they want close things 15-20 minutes early so people can go home it's Christmas. Still inside of that 15-20 minute window and they still wouldn't let me pick up my order. So it's the customers fault you're working on Christmas? Not only did i get such a sorry excuse for them inconveniencing the customers as I wasn't the only person that just got there (there was one other person), there was no notice of that prior to me arriving (as you have to input your phone number to be contacted so they could've called me) nor was there a positive solution for the inconvenience of driving all the way across town for nothing other than "you could always come back tomorrow" as smart ass remark. I will literally never shop here again after that lack luster performance from their staff and their poor critical thinking skills they failed to use when they seen customers orders still coming in. read more

I stopped coming here bc they're TERRIBLE with their joints. After a few years, I figured, since I was in the neighborhood, that maybe it got better. Wrong!!!! Every. Single. Time. I buy a house joint, I get ripped off! They won't open the container to show you the joint, so you have to take a chance that their QC was on point in checking everything, only to drive 45 mins to get home and open the container to find a half ass made joint. This place was very clean and organized. The screening process just to get in made everything feel really official and legal. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. We were able to ask as many questions as we needed and were in and out within minutes. The selection was vast and the atmosphere was fresh and upbeat. Prices were on the high side and parking lot could use some repairs for sure. The pot holes were quite bad. Very thorough check-in, including Covid tracking - be prepared to give a phone number. Everyone wore masks and almost everyone was wearing gloves. The budtender processes your order in person, talking you through the available options, and then giving you an order number that you'll use when called to the cashier.
