Likes: + Nice, friendly, inclusive ppl…read more + Wide skill range. You can play with beginners or advanced players here. + Good indoor setting to play badmin free from weather. + If you don't know anyone here, you can join the badminton MeetUp group led by Nora. They meet Saturday and Sunday evenings. Nice people will help get you settled in and playing among people your level. + Though one vending machine was out of order, thankfully there's a second one. It sells water and energy drinks. + The Thai restaurant in the front has a back table to offer food and drink within this badmin area. + They open late, past 1am. I wish pickleball lights stayed on that late. . The clerk doesn't seem to have much sense of humor. Non-likes: - Disorganized reservation system. We were kicked off our court because some people said they reserved it. I checked the electronic display for. It didn't say anyone booked that court. - Another time, two of us were waiting to join another two, but another other two waltzed right onto the court, making us have to wait longer even though we were there first. - No water fountain nor water bottle refill station. - Faulty lights. At times almost all the lights randomly turned off, and the players just had to stand there twiddling their thumbs waiting for the lights to turn back on to continue playing. - The restroom paper towel dispenser only ejects 3-4 inches of paper at a time - Not quite enough room to walk behind the courts. - Many broken chairs. - It may be hard for you to communicate or connect with some people here because of a language/culture barrier. - There's no big sign in the front of the parking lot pointing you to the back. I was confused trying to find this place. - At $11/day, the facility needs more badminton courts. Perhaps total 15 or more. -- Given all these lingering flaws that the Los Angeles Badminton Club has, $11/day seems expensive. You can access other sports with better amenities for free. For a high quality facility, yes. For a subpar one such as this, $5/day max seems more fair.

It was $10 or $11 bucks for a day pass here in April 2024…read more Lots of parking but it was extremely crowded at 10pm on a Friday night. The facility is clean but apparently groups will reserve the courts for hours which makes walk in on busy day especially Friday night impossible to play. Not a bad thing just a testament to how popular this place is! You can reserve the court online and split the price with friends. However I do not recommend coming as walk in as I waited 2.5 hours and only played 30 mins in 3 broken segments of 10 minutes. Everyone is nice here including the guests, lots of seniors, kids, teenagers. There are about 16 courts, very very warm, no ventilation, there is a Thai restaurant that serves the courts directly. They have a cool rfid system to queue up and the lights turns off to indicate the court is moving to the next queue.

Los Angeles Badminton Club - Literally says NO BOOKING. How could those people have kicked us off Court 11?

I would rate it 0 stars but I couldn't I saw a kid get cussed out by a coach in here all he did was…read moreshake his head for no and I guess his couch found it rude. I could hear his yelling from like 12 meters away he called that kid every name in the book also THERE IS basically NO AC!!!!

I came here to play on vacation because my nephew plays here. I did not bring my raquet or birds…read moreso I decided to rent the shoes and racket. Shoe rental $5 and raquet is $5. Drop in is $12 which is cheaper than the San Francisico area which is $20 and court rental $60 for an hour. I will say there is a small parking lot small and there is not many spaces. Maybe if it is full look for parking across the street. It was my first time there and there was one spot left, so I took it. The floor is pretty decent. It was a matted floor. In terms of playing games, from what the other players I asked how it works is: you have to put your bird on the little cones in the corner. If here are 2 of you, you have to put two birds there so people know there are 2 of you waiting. You are guarantee 2 games once you step on the court. After 2 games you have to get off. All this seem fair except that people at this club like to play with their friends so even when I had my birds on the cones and when they where done they all got off and people straight up would say "no" I don't want to play you. hmmmm... I guess that is a problem. I'm not sure management can do something about that. In Fremont area, and in the badminton community I think it happens very often which is very unwelcoming to newbies or even people who come in one or twos, who want to play. Unlike pickle ball. I get in people faces and ask them to play with me as if I'm a man asking a girl to dance at a club. And yes, guys walk away but someone eventually says yes, and I try to kick their ass because at this point I'm mad and fustrated. Since is it summer it is really hot, and I will say the temperature is the same outside as it is inside maybe hotter inside as everyone and their grandmother is in there running around. Overall, I would come back to play especially when I don't have my equipment.

The court is awesome and it's fully booked fast ,so make sure you do the planning days before when…read moreyou want to actually play. It's very high ceiling and very spacious and they have tons of courts within the building. Parking was plenty as well. They have dedicated areas for that. There's a lot of credibilities around the check-in area. Shoe and rack rent was $7 each. highly recommend if you're looking for a legit badminton court in OC area.

Went to Orange Badminton Club for the first time and had mixed feelings. First impression was…read moreactually pretty good. The place is huge, which was nice since it was pouring rain that day. From the outside it looks massive, and inside there are a bunch of trophies and pictures on the walls, which was cool to look at while we waited. The online waiver was easy and didn't take long at all. We had two courts next to each other and it didn't feel cramped, even as beginners. I liked that it still felt like we had our own space. But... there are definitely some things that could be better. There's a weird smell when you first walk in. You kind of get used to it after a while, but it's noticeable. The price was also kind of crazy , $42 for six people for one hour feels steep for what you're getting. The building feels a little outdated overall, and the restroom was honestly not great. The brown soap coming out of the dispenser was not it. Also, the lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly and rushed us off right when our time was up, even though there were empty courts. For what they charge, a little better customer service would make a big difference. We still had fun playing, but between the smell, price, and service, I'd say it's a solid 3 stars.
