Absolutely wonderful. I stopped by on a Saturday morning for the massage/head spa combo for $100. Fantabulous! The massage area was clean, warm, and comfortable- it was extremely relaxing with great pressure. Afterwards, you put on a wrap and go into the headspa area (take flip flops if you don't want to walk barefoot). (The lotion is not scented or greasy, after the massage a hot towel is placed over your back to wipe off the lotion. So nice.) First is a steaming while you receive a face, arm, hand massage. Then a shampoo, conditioner and rinse under head spa- delightful! She did a rough blowdry afterwards and my hair felt amazing. They have their own parking lot. They will use a translation app to communicate some things. read more

I wanted to preface this by saying that this review is not about the person who took care of me, Coco (Koko? Not sure how she spells it.) So I was on vacation in Asheville, NC and I had a terrible headache and neck ache. I took Advil and it did nothing. I was supposed to go downtown, so I asked my friend if I could find a place to get a quick massage for my head neck and shoulders first that would hopefully alleviate the pain and she said sure. I looked on Groupon And I saw this place had a neck and shoulders massage! I called and the woman who answered was quite rude, I did ask her if the special on Groupon was good for headache and neck pain and she said yes. Just seems like I was bothering her by asking one question and booking an appointment. I let it go and made the appointment and we went there an hour later. I also need to preface this by sharing that I wear my hair curly. The whole process takes about 1.5 hours total and it lasts me about four days. I was on day two hair and I even said to my friend I hope that the massage doesn't mess up my hair... So I was escorted into the room with my massage person, and she did not really speak English, so that was awkward. So the whole time she was silent. The lady who answered the phone kept coming in and out of the room, asking me about the price on the Groupon since I kindly offered to pay them directly since I know that Groupon takes a large percentage. They made a lot more off me than they would have, you wouldn't think she'd go on about a few cents (yes this a happened during massage.) Anyway, the table had this weird contraption over it, and I just kept praying that she wasn't going to wash my hair, since again she didn't speak English well. So she started with the neck and shoulders massage and it was pretty good and helped a bit with my pain. But then the majority of the rest of the time was spent washing my hair with the contraception and all sorts of nonsense. Now had I come in for that or been aware it would've been ok. But I specifically asked if the head and neck massage was good for headaches. Washing hair isn't going to do anything for headaches. Anyway, I was pretty horrified and the poor lady had the hardest time brushing out my hair because of course it's curly. Then to my shock and horror, after a half hour of that, she actually rough blow dried it after which made it even worse. So when we were done, I came out of the room, and my friend just stared at me, trying not to laugh. I paid and got out of there and cried all night to my friend about my curls. What a mess. Please don't believe the positive reviews on here, as I suspect they are fraudulent. Every response to negative feedback has an automated response, and the details on the positive ones lack important information. This business is held in a household, with no clear license for massage to be seen. They hold Groupon deals to lure people in, but this is not a legitimate massage business. I put in an appointment weeks prior, and they didn't hold the appointment. They "fit" me in at the time they could see me and my husband, but at a very early hour. They were adamant about coming early, and we did, only for us to wait 20 min past our appointment time. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, and waited. We got on the table and we could hear alarm bells sounding at all times, and the owner arguing with a previous customer. This set our appointment back at least 30 minutes. Even after starting late, the conversation was very limited. We never want to judge someone based on their ability to speak English, but it caused great difficulty to express pain when the massage was being provided. We never signed waivers, which is a huge red flag. On top of that, the massage therapist left multiple times to answer calls or just to change the song on the playlist. They definitely didn't adhere to the 50 minute appointment we booked. We were dressed and back in our car by 11:06 after only being seen at 10:30 The massage was painful on my part. I requested them to be more gentle. And still, I was being pinched and elbowed most of the massage. We paid extra for the hot stone, which was enjoyable, but they were only used for maybe 10 minutes of the massage. What struck me the most was they were trying to pop certain parts of my back. Popping backs can be very dangerous to some clients. Even after starting late, leaving the room multiple times for calls, and a painful massage, the person who checked us in demanded a 20 dollar tip for each person. They wanted a 40 dollar tip in total. We felt so uncomfortable we just paid and left. All of the automated responses say they would address these issues that have been stated multiple times, but they clearly don't. I'm sorry, but these people are running a scam on Groupon to get customers and they are running an illegal massage business without any license. They are charging close to what other companies charge for what actual licensed massage therapist do. Please don't risk any kind of harm to your body to save money. One they need to real massage therapist. I've had several massages and they are not real . They don't speak English so they don't understand well what your telling them if they hurting you . And they hold you hostage or yell at you if you tip less then they want . Not a good place . Don't go here !! Those who think this 5 start with you never had a massage before or just to move to be real . My daughter was hurt by her massage therapist and we paid for half the service we got because they kept leaving the room to answer the phone and they started 10 minutes late on my daughter massage. And the head spas is a joke it's just a hair washing and they don't even put the halo on your head more than a few seconds. And to top it off they demand a high tip and get mad or stand in front of the front door if you don't . Be careful where you go . They use Groupon to lure you in, but prices are not cheaper. Could not verify my Groupon even though I showed the barcode and its number below it. she agreed to go ahead. I am open to all peoples but the language barrier here made it tough. The 50-minute massage including hot stones was very good. only thing to make it better would have been to be on my back a bit as I love my face, front shoulders and front of legs worked. but still very good. I still would have given 4 stars even with the Groupon scam but when leaving I tipped her $10(50-minute massage and not discounted) . her reply: only $10, was it that bad" ............... hard no to that. will not return. read more
