I got a 90min. massage from Caitlin and loved it. The old house is so cozy and the massage was just perfect. Highly recommend.

This place is not professional! I scheduled an appointment for a 90 min head to toe massage, they called me to confirm when I came in they said I didn't have an appointment that someone else was scheduled, and told me to call back to schedule when I could have scheduled there but they refused and said call to schedule I called and left messages and no one calls back. Mind you I paid for the serves a head of time online and I'm still getting no respond they just ghosted me. Terrible and not professional I am an esthetician and I would never do this to a client. I wouldn't even add 1 star to this if I had an opinion. Just absolutely terrible. read more

By far the best prenatal massage I've ever experienced! Hit every pressure point and feel so so relieved and rejuvenated. Will definitely be back when visiting Asheville. read more

Sachi Spa - Massage Near Me - Ashville, North Carolina

I booked the couples massage and my partner said her massage therapist exceeding expectations and really knew what she was doing. My partner raves about her experience. My experience was not as pleasant. I circle three areas to be massaged, my face, my feet, and a tight knot in my back. I also asked for DEEP pressure. Spent about 20-30 moving the blood flow in my back on ONE side. I kept thinking "wtf is she doing??". My therapist frequent pet me like I was an animal rather than massaging me. This was very irritating because we paid $100 each, so I expected her to MASSAGE me, not gently caress my body over the blankets. She didn't massage my face, she didn't massage my ACHING feet that I emphasized needed deep pressure due to knots, she rather slid her hand up and down on the outsides of my feet and didn't even get into my arch.... wth! Overall, my therapist did not get into my knot, did not massage my feet, and didn't massage my face. I'm still trying to figure out how she was able to stretch what she did into a whole freaking hour! I left feeling sore, stressed, and wanting to book a better massage elsewhere. I am really disappointed that my therapist did not listen to me or apply the pressure I specifically asked for. I am not saying she did a well massage and just didn't do what I asked, I am saying I truly don't think she has much experience or must have not known what she was doing. It was the worst massage I have ever reviewed and a total waste of money. read more

From the booking process to the day of massages, everything and everyone was fantastic! So friendly and welcoming! The place is peaceful and eclectic just as you'd expect here in Asheville. We did the couples massage (Hubs first) and he said "why don't we do this every vacation?". A point we both appreciated, staff and clients are all masked and that truly added to the peace and relaxation of our visit. read more

Meg is a great massage therapist! Visiting from the Wilmington area, I found this spa and decided to treat myself on my birthday! It was worth it. I felt the stress immediately leaving my body in this serene setting. Asheville has some real gems. Anytime that I visit, I will definitely return to Sachi. I might even treat myself to 90 minutes because I'm worth it! read more

After a VERY long 6 months and after a 2 day drive to get the kids to camp, my wife and I needed some pampering. Before arriving to Asheville I searched and booked Sachi. We did the couples massage with hot stones. It was truly, truly great. I had Ryanne (sp?) and my wife had Emily....we both loved them. Great pressure, and hit some points/areas not normally hit. Highly recommend. read more

A Wonderful Experience -- all around. From the ease of booking, to the friendliness of the staff, the atmosphere of the rooms, and the quality of the massages, we cannot speak highly enough of Sachi. Having been fans since our initial visits 7+ years ago, the Couples Massage is our new favorite, and we make it a part of every Asheville getaway. Katie and Alex are amazing therapists, and thoroughly discuss your needs and the process beforehand. The health and masking precautions were appreciated and helped with the relaxation and complete immersion. read more

My wife and I visited Asheville for our anniversary. While in town, we decided to get a 90 minute couples massage. It was a complete waste! Both of our therapists did a sad job and we left feeling not relaxed. The prices are good for Asheville but high the rest of NC. I could never recommend this place to anyone. We were told to arrive 15 minutes early, one of the therapists was over 5 minutes late. The therapists didn't greet us and take us to the room until 15 minute late. They left the room and let us wait about 5 minutes. My wife's therapist was so light that she barely felt anything. My wife should said something. My therapists must still be in therapy school or planning on going. She didn't know of the strokes or rubs. She repeated just 2 longs strokes and a couple Indian-burn style rubs. Anyway with 10 minutes left in the massage she stopped and breathed deep. She kept trying to signal the other therapist. Not successfull, she then put her head on the table for a minute or so. The massage stopped with more that 5 minutes left. I am not used to the clock start at the greeting in the lobby read more

Outstanding experience at Sachi!! My boyfriend and I started our anniversary trip to Asheville with a couples massage here and we already can't wait to come back. I found Sachi on Yelp and it was hands down the best decision we could have ever made. 90 minutes for $180/couple so also extremely affordable! Well done Sachi!! read more

Wow amazing massage! My wife and we're visiting Asheville and wanted to start the weekend off on a relaxing note. Sachi hit the spot! Our massage therapist both knew where how to touch us! Would definitely come again. P.S it was my wife's first massage, so definitely a good place for newcomers. read more

Alex was a great therapist and gave an attentive and thorough massage. Just what I needed after a long drive.

I visited Asheville on vacation (for a friend) and it was my second day in the city and chose to do a massage and got the 90-minute massage from head to toe. I have had a few massages in the past, and the price point for this is well in the range of others I've had in California. It's in a renovated house and looks and has this atmosphere of very calming. I feel like because it's a house, you already feel more relaxed versus an office space where it's more corporate. They have so many options for aromatherapy and will do their best to help you to pick the right one. There's no pressure at all to pick one just because it's included though. From the customer service to the massage though, it was all a great experience and I would love to come back and do it again! I definitely felt way better after this and felt like my vacation was off to a good start! read more

Had an excellent massage from Robin ! Very relaxing and felt so good!! Highly recommended! read more

I am not a big fan of massages but the BF treated us both to massages during our visit to Asheville. This would be my 3rd massage ever and it was a great experience! We made an appointment for 11 a.m. and were told to arrive a little early for paperwork (standard). We were lead to a relaxation room where we were served some water and set to filling out our information. Shortly afterwards, we each met our massage therapists. I had Jennifer. She was very warm and welcoming. She went over the paperwork thoroughly and asked for any problem spots she should focus on. She made me feel comfortable. I know many people are shy and modest when it comes to shedding their clothes in front of strangers, but Jennifer was very mindful when working throughout. She checked in to see if the pressure was good and her movements and positioning of my limbs was very graceful and not awkward at all. Overall, I had a great experience and the price is extremely reasonable. I definitely recommend! read more

I have been getting massages for over 20 years and my massage at Sachi is one of the best I've ever had! Gretchen is professional, expert, and downright magical! Before the massage she asked me about my needs and was consistently responsive throughout the massage. I feel amazing! Thanks, Gretchen and Sachi! read more

I live in Asheville about 30% of the time. I've been getting a weekly massage for about 40 years in 5 major cities so I speak from a specific vantage point. In Fort Lauderdale I am hard pressed to get anything beyond a garden variety massage. It's rare (globally) to find a massage therapist (At any facility or price) with true technique. I have have two 90 minute massages in a very comfortable environment (Not crammed into a 6 x 9 room) in the past 4 weeks. Both unique and equally fantastic Robin is ferocious and strong. He did things to my jaw to relieve migraine pain that I've never experienced before. Last week I had the pleasure of receiving a massage from M. He's smaller but his hands and thumbs are pure power and advanced technique. Typically I scoff at smaller men giving me a massage. It never seems to go deep enough and if it does it lacks something. Not the case here. These men have a 6th sense and knew where to apply force and where to back off. I could easily reminisce about hundreds of massages that caused anxiety. A good massage feels amazing within 2 minutes. So many massage therapists want to "warm" you up. I'm warm enough. Go deep and with intent and do it quickly. These guys are amazing. I want to see them both again in October when I return. read more

My daughter had her first massage at Sachi last week and it was SUPERB!!! I gifted her with this and it all went very smoothly

Very positive experience. Lovely, healing massage. Kind, pleasant staff.

If I could give zero stars I would! My advice: Stay away! The woman who checked me in was visibly in a very anxious bad mood when I arrived. She didn't even have the decency to ask me to wait a minute until she got off the phone and instead demanded that I fill out a health questionaire. Although I remained quiet and soft spoken, later that night, she left a voice message asking me to call or text her - and to "never come to her spa again". Why would she ask me to call her if she never wants to see me again? Crazy town... Abusive and uncalled for behavior-- STAY AWAY! read more

I was traveling to Asheville for the weekend and woke up with neck spasms. My husband found this place and was able to book a 90-minute massage with James. He was incredible. He spent most of the time stretching the muscles of my neck, shoulders and back- I felt so much better and was able to return to work the next day. The renovated farmhouse had a great feel. Homey, but very professional. I wish we lived in Asheville so I could make this a regular appointment! read more

My spouse and I came for a Blissful Journey couples package while we were visiting Asheville and I could not be happier with our experience. The space was very clean, well-decorated and peaceful. Our massage therapists were experts. We left feeling so relaxed and happy. We will definitely return the next time we're in town. read more

Took my sister here for an early birthday gift, and we both got 90 min massages. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, exactly what you want for a massage! We filled out our paperwork and were offered water before our session. We walked around a bit and enjoyed seeing all the local art and crafts that you could purchase. The massage room we were in was upstairs, nice and warm and dimly lit. The music was wonderful, and both our massages were a delight. Only heads up is the front door, be gentle closing it. We made the mistake of slamming it (by accident) and on our way out, another guest did the same thing. read more

Thank you, Robin and Danielle. Mother / daughter (13) massages together were AMAZING!! Robin did an excellent job concentrating on my problem areas (neck, arm, back). His technique was something I've never experienced before. So relaxing and therapeutic. Danielle concentrated so well on the body contours. Best experience ever! read more

With a Sachi Massage gift card hot in my little hand (an anniversary gift from my parents), hubs and I were pretty ecstatic to explore Ashville with less tense shoulders. I was also pretty floored by teh incredible Yelp reviews of Sachi, thus reminded my mom she chose wisely! From the outside Sachi isn't too much to look at. It's on the top floor of a small shopping complex with a fairly nondescript exterior. Inside, Sachi is sweet and welcoming with a small desk in front, a few couches and a salt room to relax and wait for your therapist. I am personally not versed in the benefits of salt, but seems like it's a *thing.* And it gives the room a pretty glow, so I'll take it! I filled out my paperwork indicating the areas that I wanted the most attention and checked the "firm" box for pressure. Often times massage therapists take it too easy on me, so I like to share that info upfront. To my therapist's credit, she did mention that she doesn't specialize in deep tissue (not what I wanted) but to tell her when I could use more or less pressure. My massage went fine. It was relaxing and I felt pretty good afterwards. Was it amazing? No. The pressure was on the light side even after she made an adjustment in the beginning. Why 4 stars then? They are so welcoming and a 60 min massage for $67 is a great price. read more

An hour under the practiced hands of my therapist, Em, will make you happy to be alive. Intuitive from the start, he perfectly addressed my stress points, and left me loose-limbed and practically tongue-tied. An "Em-mazing" experience. The spa was inviting, relaxing, and pristine. A tiny boutique in the front room holds nice local pottery and jewelry. I will make a visit to Sachi a priority next time I'm in Asheville. read more

I respect and really appreciate someone entertaining the request at the last minute. I was cold and sort of wet hiking in the mountains. It wasn't a great weekend. My back was hurting due to a long and a slow drive on the Blue Ridge parkway. I called few places and texted few places for a massage appointment. I got the call back from this place within an hour. They accommodated me at the last minute for the first morning session. That was fantastic. Got a massage within couple of hours of hunting massage places on Yelp.com The massage was great. Relieved me from the back pain. Very comforting and exactly what I needed. I usually get deep tissue massage. The pressure was perfect with the focus on the back but spread throughout the body. My body was stressed when I walked into the studio but not when I walked out. I don't remember the masseuse's name. Too bad on my part. Apologies! But I would remember her work. Much Appreciated! I got the feeling that they are good. The following reviews by others say the similar. I definitely recommend this place to travelers and also locals. I might call them again in the future if I need a massage and I am in that area. Probably, next time with enough lead time. :-) read more

I called last minute hoping someone might be available. Got lucky and Mia was able to come in and give one of the best massages I have ever received. I had a 90 minute hot stone massage. I would 100% recommend them. Prices are great and if I'm ever back in town, I will be coming back. read more

Amazing. Best massage and prices in Asheville. Don't waste your money on the over priced places. Come here and you will return. My wife and I both got the blissful 90 minutes massage and both can't wait to come back. read more

The photo on here must be for a different location of theirs (I forgot to photo it myself though) so don't look for the building in the picture. This was the most amazing experience ever for my husband and I. We had a couples massage done while on our honeymoon to Asheville. I swear Rose gave me a whole new body. And Jen literally got rid of all my husbands aches and pains, which he had many of for the long term. Not going to lie, we loved Asheville so much we are considering moving there, and if we do, we will be going back to Sachi as regular customers for sure read more

Wow! Just love this place! Robin knows how to massage. I appreciate his ability to work knots out. And he even recognized and worked on my hip/leg imbalance/alignment issues due to a previously broken foot! I highly recommend Robin at Sachi Massage. read more

My friend and I scheduled a last minute massage here. They were extremely accommodating and friendly at check in. Lovely soothing music plays as you're lead to a very zen sitting room in this gorgeous historic house decorated by beautiful local art. We are both accustomed to getting regular massages, so we know what a good massage is. This did not disappoint. My therapist Elise was extremely attentive to my needs. Prior to the massage they have you fill out a thorough questionnaire. They actually ask you to specify the type of pressure you want. I think good communication enhances your experience. The room was very calming and she was very thorough in getting out all the tension that built up from a week of walking everywhere. My friend also commented on how great her massage was too. It was extremely affordable and well worth the price. It was a great way to end our vacation week. read more

I had a reservation for a girls massage day and when I called to notify them of being newly pregnant, instead of being accommodating and kind, the spa very firmly said they will not allow me to have a massage and I will need to cancel. This could have been worded differently they could have offered a foot massage and scalp massage instead. I am a local and locals can be the greatest word of mouth. I will never go back to this spa and will never recommend this spa to anyone. Not only was I disappointed that I cannot participate in an outing with women ( which mothers rarely come by), but the costumer service was terrible. I am one to put negative reviews but as you can imagine the above situation is very upsetting. Especially to someone who is a provider in the field of OB knowing I am permitted to have a massage during pregnancy. read more

We stumbled upon Sachi while googling massage options in the area during our 10th anniversary stay in Asheville. We lucked out to get an appt for a couple's massage calling only a day before, and were pleasantly surprised when we walked in to the farmhouse not far from downtown. It's not your traditional spa experience, but Susie and her staff have made the place so serene and comforting with salt lamps, soft music, and comfy nooks throughout the building. My husband had Lauren as his therapist - she was kind and he was pleased with his massage. I had Lee - he was a calm presence and my massage was off the charts. I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and upper back which I told him in our brief chat before my service. He paid close attention to those areas and in general gave great pressure throughout the entire massage. Susie even gifted us a heart Himalayan salt rock on our way out as a gift for our anniversary. We definitely recommend Sashi! read more
