I scheduled an appointment for a 90 min head to toe massage, they called me to confirm when I came in they said I didn't have an appointment that someone else was scheduled, and told me to call back to schedule when I could have scheduled there but they refused and said call to schedule I called and left messages and no one calls back. Mind you I paid for the serves a head of time online and I'm still getting no respond they just ghosted me. Terrible and not professional I am an esthetician and I would never do this to a client. My experience was not as pleasant. I circle three areas to be massaged, my face, my feet, and a tight knot in my back. I also asked for DEEP pressure. Spent about 20-30 moving the blood flow in my back on ONE side. I kept thinking "wtf is she doing??". My therapist frequent pet me like I was an animal rather than massaging me. This was very irritating because we paid $100 each, so I expected her to MASSAGE me, not gently caress my body over the blankets. She didn't massage my face, she didn't massage my ACHING feet that I emphasized needed deep pressure due to knots, she rather slid her hand up and down on the outsides of my feet and didn't even get into my arch.... wth! Overall, my therapist did not get into my knot, did not massage my feet, and didn't massage my face. I'm still trying to figure out how she was able to stretch what she did into a whole freaking hour! I left feeling sore, stressed, and wanting to book a better massage elsewhere. I am really disappointed that my therapist did not listen to me or apply the pressure I specifically asked for. I am not saying she did a well massage and just didn't do what I asked, I am saying I truly don't think she has much experience or must have not known what she was doing. My wife and I visited Asheville for our anniversary. While in town, we decided to get a 90 minute couples massage. It was a complete waste! Both of our therapists did a sad job and we left feeling not relaxed. The prices are good for Asheville but high the rest of NC. I could never recommend this place to anyone. We were told to arrive 15 minutes early, one of the therapists was over 5 minutes late. The therapists didn't greet us and take us to the room until 15 minute late. They left the room and let us wait about 5 minutes. My wife's therapist was so light that she barely felt anything. My wife should said something. My therapists must still be in therapy school or planning on going. She didn't know of the strokes or rubs. She repeated just 2 longs strokes and a couple Indian-burn style rubs. Anyway with 10 minutes left in the massage she stopped and breathed deep. She kept trying to signal the other therapist. Not successfull, she then put her head on the table for a minute or so. I visited Asheville on vacation (for a friend) and it was my second day in the city and chose to do a massage and got the 90-minute massage from head to toe. I have had a few massages in the past, and the price point for this is well in the range of others I've had in California. It's in a renovated house and looks and has this atmosphere of very calming. I feel like because it's a house, you already feel more relaxed versus an office space where it's more corporate. They have so many options for aromatherapy and will do their best to help you to pick the right one. There's no pressure at all to pick one just because it's included though. From the customer service to the massage though, it was all a great experience and I would love to come back and do it again! We made an appointment for 11 a.m. and were told to arrive a little early for paperwork (standard). We were lead to a relaxation room where we were served some water and set to filling out our information. Shortly afterwards, we each met our massage therapists. I had Jennifer. She was very warm and welcoming. She went over the paperwork thoroughly and asked for any problem spots she should focus on. She made me feel comfortable. I know many people are shy and modest when it comes to shedding their clothes in front of strangers, but Jennifer was very mindful when working throughout. She checked in to see if the pressure was good and her movements and positioning of my limbs was very graceful and not awkward at all. I live in Asheville about 30% of the time. I've been getting a weekly massage for about 40 years in 5 major cities so I speak from a specific vantage point. In Fort Lauderdale I am hard pressed to get anything beyond a garden variety massage. It's rare (globally) to find a massage therapist (At any facility or price) with true technique. I have have two 90 minute massages in a very comfortable environment (Not crammed into a 6 x 9 room) in the past 4 weeks. Both unique and equally fantastic Robin is ferocious and strong. He did things to my jaw to relieve migraine pain that I've never experienced before. Last week I had the pleasure of receiving a massage from M. He's smaller but his hands and thumbs are pure power and advanced technique. Typically I scoff at smaller men giving me a massage. It never seems to go deep enough and if it does it lacks something. Not the case here. These men have a 6th sense and knew where to apply force and where to back off. I could easily reminisce about hundreds of massages that caused anxiety. A good massage feels amazing within 2 minutes. So many massage therapists want to "warm" you up. I'm warm enough. Go deep and with intent and do it quickly. These guys are amazing. I want to see them both again in October when I return. read more

We filled out our paperwork and were offered water before our session. We walked around a bit and enjoyed seeing all the local art and crafts that you could purchase. With a Sachi Massage gift card hot in my little hand (an anniversary gift from my parents), hubs and I were pretty ecstatic to explore Ashville with less tense shoulders. I was also pretty floored by teh incredible Yelp reviews of Sachi, thus reminded my mom she chose wisely! From the outside Sachi isn't too much to look at. It's on the top floor of a small shopping complex with a fairly nondescript exterior. Inside, Sachi is sweet and welcoming with a small desk in front, a few couches and a salt room to relax and wait for your therapist. I am personally not versed in the benefits of salt, but seems like it's a *thing.* And it gives the room a pretty glow, so I'll take it! I filled out my paperwork indicating the areas that I wanted the most attention and checked the "firm" box for pressure. Often times massage therapists take it too easy on me, so I like to share that info upfront. To my therapist's credit, she did mention that she doesn't specialize in deep tissue (not what I wanted) but to tell her when I could use more or less pressure. My massage went fine. It was relaxing and I felt pretty good afterwards. Was it amazing? No. The pressure was on the light side even after she made an adjustment in the beginning. Why 4 stars then? They are so welcoming and a 60 min massage for $67 is a great price. read more

Lovely soothing music plays as you're lead to a very zen sitting room in this gorgeous historic house decorated by beautiful local art. We are both accustomed to getting regular massages, so we know what a good massage is. This did not disappoint. My therapist Elise was extremely attentive to my needs. Prior to the massage they have you fill out a thorough questionnaire. They actually ask you to specify the type of pressure you want. I think good communication enhances your experience. The room was very calming and she was very thorough in getting out all the tension that built up from a week of walking everywhere. My friend also commented on how great her massage was too. I had a reservation for a girls massage day and when I called to notify them of being newly pregnant, instead of being accommodating and kind, the spa very firmly said they will not allow me to have a massage and I will need to cancel. This could have been worded differently they could have offered a foot massage and scalp massage instead. I am a local and locals can be the greatest word of mouth. I will never go back to this spa and will never recommend this spa to anyone.Not only was I disappointed that I cannot participate in an outing with women ( which mothers rarely come by), but the costumer service was terrible. We stumbled upon Sachi while googling massage options in the area during our 10th anniversary stay in Asheville. We lucked out to get an appt for a couple's massage calling only a day before, and were pleasantly surprised when we walked in to the farmhouse not far from downtown. It's not your traditional spa experience, but Susie and her staff have made the place so serene and comforting with salt lamps, soft music, and comfy nooks throughout the building. My husband had Lauren as his therapist - she was kind and he was pleased with his massage. I had Lee - he was a calm presence and my massage was off the charts. I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and upper back which I told him in our brief chat before my service. He paid close attention to those areas and in general gave great pressure throughout the entire massage. Susie even gifted us a heart Himalayan salt rock on our way out as a gift for our anniversary.
