Does Heather travel? We're throwing a 40th birthday party for a friend and looking for a massage therapist to come to the cabin to do quick massages for guests.

Hi Karman! Thank you for your inquiry. Yes ma'am I do travel. I just need a little advanced notice (a week or so). My travel rates are $100hr plus travel time if its over 10 miles from my location. I will be happy to answer any questions about… Read more

The day we went seemed to be short staffed, so things took longer than expected, but our experience overall was great. When they were ready for us, they guided us to the fitting rooms with showers. We were given shoes, robes, towels, and tote bags. There are no official lockers here, so you are welcome to take your tote with you into your private bath. The fitting room had everything you needed. When we were ready we had another long wait, but were invited to enjoy the sauna. They gave us refreshing mint iced washcloths for the sauna that I loved. They have a menu with a bunch of great add-ons, I decided to stick with the water, but my best friend got the coconut water. When our bath was ready, they showed us a map on how to get down to our soak. We walked down a beautiful hill path to our bath overlooking the forest. Even though we started late, they still gave us the full hour. The intercom system seems to be a bit older. There was an awkward moment where they tried to speak to us, but we couldn't hear them over the hot tub bubbles, when I went back to ask them what they said, they never replied. Besides that, we had a wonderful time. Be mindful that the drive up is a bit confusing, you'll want to do a mix of following their signs and your GPS. The experience is also a bit pricey for what it is, but I'm still glad I tried it with my best friend.

You can even stay overnight in their on site Japanese inspired lodges surrounded by quiet mountain forest. I experienced the tea side hot tubs outside and I didn't want to leave it was my favorite part of the experience along with the Savasana & Chea Massage Pods. I really feel liked I died and went to heaven in those chairs . If you are looking for a truly peaceful place that's great to visit even solo I say this one should be at the top of your list .

My hubby enjoyed the gentlemen's facial and I enjoyed the hydra-facial but after talking with some other women in the Spa, the classic facial seems nice too, a few said it was equal to the ultra expensive hydration facial. My skin looked so good that I didn't want to get in the pool with chlorine. The pool area is amazing. We took advantage of the amenities the first day after the couples massage and passed on it the second day due to the facial products. The Spa Cafe was a great spot for lunch! We ate there both days, respectfully no phones or pics but the Paninis are tasty, the Caprese and Turkey with Fig Paninis were yummy. I got a sliced apple instead of chips! The Sante Fe Chicken wrap was good but the other two Paninis were best!

It also included heat, pressure, and aromatherapy in unique ways that all worked together to create a wonderfully rejuvenating experience. I cannot recommend this treatment more highly. The overall atmosphere of the spa is a bit crowded with lots of small spaces. It can be difficult to enjoy the other features of the spa, as there may be other people already occupying the areas you would like to be in. The pools are very nice, but they are all co-ed. Bathing suits are required throughout, which is less comfortable than a European style spa with separate sex pools. Would come again just for the massage!

Enjoyed the ambiance and furniture to support some device-free meditation & relaxation time. The staff here were helpful and offered a breathing exercise to start our relaxation time. I would imagine going to a massage during this experience would be the way to do it with maximum enjoyment though! Next time!

She easily answered questions after and before about what to expect and offered us tips on how best to relax and enjoy our experience. You lock up your goodies in a large dresser while inside and are encouraged not to bring electronics in (the salt can be corrosive to batteries) and must wear socks. The spa and gift shop area is really nice and we saw a ton of beautiful salt lamps inside the gift shop after our hour. I loved the themed items for sale and their body oils and salt scrubs are phenomenal. The salt cave itself is pretty impressive and a unique experience I hadn't ever tried before. I believe she said there were 30 tons of rock salt inside and it was even hanging from the ceiling! It's based upon an original such cave in Poland. Loved it. Highly recommend you come and try this if you are open to new experiences and have never done it. The team here are wonderful and it's in beautiful neighborhood and part of town we enjoyed walking around afterwards. They have an attached parking lot and plenty of nearby parking.
