This is the closest Staples to my grandmother. She is not the most tech savvy, but goes to this location to print her documents. She noticed that the system for self service printing had changed. When she asked for assistance she was met with ATTITUDE, huffing and puffing, and was left confused and lost. She called me upset, scared to ask them for more help and was on her way to another Staples (40 minutes further). After calming her down, I was able to facetime her and assist. My grandmother is trying to learn tech as best as she can, but things like this makes her feel discouraged! She simply wanted to know if she was working it correctly for future use! read more

Staples are a big name in the office supply department with their competitive printing and shipping services along with a host of other accesories required for day to day office work. This store in particular is huge and spacious with covid protocols in place. I have been to this place a couple of times to get some documents printed. During my very first visit, I wasn't particularly sure how the printing services worked, so I asked a representative working there to show me the easiest way to get my documents printed. She was kind enough to let me know that I could either go to the Self-Service printing by emailing the document(staples@printme.com) or I could give it to her and she could print it for me. The print job itself was quick. When you approach the printer, you'd first need to insert your credit card and authorize a temporary $5 charge for the print service, but don't worry, they only charge for the total amount of paper and documents used, and then proceed with what you want to do at the machine - Copy, Scan, Print or Fax. I selected print and it then askes your preferred method of retrieving your document either via email, USB stick or from cloud services such as Drive or Dropbox. For black and white prints it is $0.15/ page. My visit was pretty good both the times and the entire process was a breeze. read more

It's always been buyer be aware here. There are very few bargains so you need to know your prices when you shop here. Also, my experience over the years is that too often the price they ring up at the register is higher than the price on display. I am tired of hearing that someone forgot to change the display price, yada yada. Yet, I still shop here because they pretty much have everything and it is close to home and sometimes I like to shop in person rather than online. Also, be very careful not to be upsold on purchasing a warranty that you don't want, don't need, and don't want to pay for. It's a long story but all I want to say is be very careful shopping here. read more

Very disappointed that I was told after the fact that there was a fee to get vaccine cards laminated. That wasn't the case before. There needs to be signage to let people know this. read more

No problems getting a print at the printer station. The staff member there answered my question about providing mybown cardstock.

It's ok. The No bags thing at Staples is stupid. But whatever... The customer service is on point. Thank you. read more

So I failed at getting my simple printing need met at Staples in Linden, so I decided to go to the FedEx Store in South Plainfield, on the way I remembered there was a Staples in Woodbridge, so I decided to give them a try. Can you say "waste of time". Why is it so difficult to email a document from my phone to them? The problem wasn't emailing the document, but receiving their confirmation email. The employees make excuses as to why it doesn't work (apparently they haven't heard that, "Excuses are tools of the weak & incompetent, use to build monuments of nothingness, those who specialize in excuses are seldom capable of anything else". No one goes the extra mile or takes the extra steps anymore, so off I go to S. Plainfield. Is it really too much to ask for Quality Customer Service these days. read more

Staples - Printing Services Near Me - Woodbridge, New Jersey

I do not like this Staples and their customer service is slow. I think only 2 people literally work there. I never can find someone and the wait for the print area is something else. I called to check if my order I placed online arrived since its been 3 days since UPS delivered it. The email states "do not go unless they email you..." So I waited. When I called I was put on hold for 10 minutes. Hung up, called again, this time no one picked up. So I went to staples to figure out what is going on. Waited for a couple minutes and the cashiers were just staring at me, didn't ask if i needed anything. So I asked who do I speak to about my online order. Gave me an attitude like i was bothering her from picking at her nails and some slow pacing girl finally walks up and asked for my last name, while i was telling her, she was already walking away. So I screamed it to her. she came back out of her hole and says, is this what you ordered? And had me sign a paper Lol Whatever! Next time I'll go to the next staples. read more

Woodbridge NJ Store. After purchasing an item, customer is sent an email soliciting feedback. However, if the feedback is not a glowing review, it is not posted. I ordered a Traymore desk chair, told it was a next day delivery, 7 days. Screws deficient, tried for an hour to attached the seat to the back of the chair. Then to Home Depot to buy longer screws. It seems Staples will allow you to post feedback on a product but not if the feedback is directed to their poor customer service. BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH. SHAME ON STAPLES for not taking ownership and trying to sweep all under the carpet. read more

Worst worst worst customer service I have ever experienced They made mistakes on my business cards and I have been waiting over two weeks for a refund Call as many times as you want - all they do is lie This store needs serious help from corporate on training or they should just shut this location down. Take a look at other reviews Not worth going here..... read more

So, I go in to buy a computer desk chair, pick one out, talk it home, put it halfway together before I realize it's the wrong chair. They put the wrong tag on the floor model. I bring it back, exchange it for the right chair, and the salesman tells me the chair I want costs $30 more. I pay it, leave. I look up my chair online and see it on the staples website, you guessed it, for $30 less than what I paid. Bring my receipt back to the store, and they honor the online price and refund me the $30. When asked why they didn't cross-check it with the online price, they tell me it's up to the customer to inquire about a lower online price for any item. I had to wait another 20 minutes, at two different registers, before getting my refund. Fun times. Brilliant, friendly staff! read more

My company has a contract with staples and this is the closest staples to my house. I don't have experience with other staples to this detail but I can say at best the staffing here is severely unorganized. I have come in several times and seen no employees to be found on the floor and have seen employees waiting around while customers are waiting for a cashier. The absolute worst experience is calling this store. I purchased a computer battery here which Staples needed to purchase from a 3rd party; they told me it would arrive in 2-3 weeks. It took approximately 4-5 weeks for the battery to arrive and after promising to call me when it came in I had to call to find out it was in the store 3 days prior to my call. When I asked the associate on the phone why they hadn't called me he didn't say I can find out, I'm sorry. He said essentially he would not know that information (i.e. it's not his job to know). As I drafted this review I was at the store waiting for someone to retrieve the battery and it took 5 minutes for someone to come over to help. The manager came over not because I requested to speak with him, but because of some other problem. He was nice enough to talk to me after an associate informed him while he was there that I wanted to speak with him after customer service called someone over the loudspeaker. It had been 23 minutes since I stepped in the store and I still did not have my battery which was already paid for. The only reason this store gets 2 stars is the associates are nice and try to help whil they are in the act of helping you. They are pretty knowledgeable about products too. The manager was professional and respectful when dealing with my comments. He said although he can't do much since i didn't know the name of the person over the phone that i spoke with, he would alert all associates that he received this poor review. I have respect for the manager who remained calm. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Not only is everything always broken but the employees are completely useless. I went there to print something using their print service like I always do but it was not sending me a verification code. You would have thought it was my fault they way they were treating me. In the end, I never got my papers printed because the manager basically told me oh well. Save yourself a headache and just go to Office Depot down the highway. read more

I reluctantly give this place one star, but if I could give this place a negative star I would. This is by far the worst Staples I have ever done business with. The staff is not helpful AND their machines are crappy. I went there to print a simple document and after printing the document and spending 10 minutes trying to figure out where the document went, it was only then that I discovered that the printer had run out of ink. When I informed the staff of this issue, it took almost 20 minutes for them to replace the cartridge and another 15 minutes to print a simple four page document. When the young lady behind the counter finally printed my document, she walked away and never told me that she printed it. Ridiculous! It seems the staff is more concerned with chatting with one another than with servicing their customers. Whoever manages this place needs to do a complete overhaul. Word of advice: If you are looking for an efficient place to get copies or use print services, head to the Staples in Linden because this Woodbridge location clearly does not know how to run a print shop! Stay away! read more

Worst Service Ive ever received in my life dont recommend Patronizing their business in Woodbridge. I was having trouble with the self serve Color Copy machine. So I went to the counter to possibly have them run off copies for me there. Now they employee there asks me what do I need and takes my copy to be printed. In the midst of that her manager comes to her and says handle her customer because she wants to do something else when the manager was originally helping that customer. Now another staff memeber comes over to help because the line is getting backed up and he completely skips me. As I wait patiently for the original employee who helped me first to return. She finally comes back and asks how man copies I need and I respond 130. Which she says okay but her manager interjects and says no she cant do it because she has a big color print order and her order was first. Then proceeds to tell me to leave my copy to print. All while I hang in the store to try the color copier self serve in the store again which was like 5 minutes more. Now in that time she could of printed off my copies. Very Unprofessional and they missed out on at least 100+ dollars. read more

Cannot stand this Staples. Just do not go here. Unorganized, staff could care less if a customer is in the store, and honestly, it's worth the drive to another store simply to have some human contact. read more

This store is the worst, it took me over one hour to return a defective office chair. After waiting for over a week i never received the chair order that I placed in the store last Sunday (I was promised 1 business day) I decide to go to the store to check on the order status, they said the order is delayed and you should receive it on Tuesday, I told him I can,t wait any longer so he found one in stock which I had to pay for because he said he can't,t make an exchange and the manager gave me coverage plan for free as a courtesy. After going home trying to assemble the chair parts, I found a rip on the seat so i went back to the store today to exchange it, the manager did not want to do an exchange and said i have to pay for the chair ( for the 3rd time so far) so I decided just to do a return and when I asked her to do it right away she refused and had wait inline for almost an hour to finish the transaction. I will never buy anything from that store anymore. read more

Honestly I don't do reviews often but Brighton went above and beyond to help me return a chair and order another one. As I waited to see if they had one in stock I've seen Brighton help 4 other customers and he was so knowledgeable about the items in the store. He kept up such a positive and kind attitude the entire time that i had to write a review. ( give him a raise! Lol ) read more

I am looking for a magazine holder, and found a 2-pack plastic holder that I thought would be ideal. Priced at $11.49 for the pair, I found a single holder, same style, and took it up to the check-out. We went through the whole process, and was told the price would be over $12 with the tax. When I protested that they were being sold for $11.49 for a pair, and this was only one, the woman at the register told me that I'd have to go back for the other one, as they're only sold in pairs. I informed her that there wasn't another one, it was on the shelf as a single, she informed me she couldn't do anything about the price. I would think she would want to be a problem solver, not contribute to the problem. She didn't offer to call a manager to keep the sale. This was not what I expected, and told her if there wasn't a change in the price that I couldn't take the deal. I left. Too bad that there isn't an Office Depot left in the area. They have a monopoly on goods, but not on customer appreciation or accommodation. read more

What do you see when you first enter this staples? About 7 cash registers with only one of them working and a bunch of annoyed people. I went in for a simple lamination job but came out sorely disappointed. After waiting around 20 minutes for the incompetent worker at the print station to take notice of me and be done with "helping" other customers, I gave him my poster and asked for laminating to which he responds that it is against staples' policy to laminate or print inappropriate material. I was shocked and asked him if he knew who the person on the poster was to which he replied no. I told her she was Alex Morgan a star of American Women's soccer team and this was a picture of a beach photo shoot she did which empowered women everywhere by sending a positive message about being an athlete and looking good. He said that it was still inappropriate. I asked him what made it inappropriate to which he replied an employee makes the judgement call on profane materials in the store and he refused to laminate it. That was the point that I lost it and went off about the plight of women in this country and how somehow, we had come such a long way from seeing women as impure beings that needed to be covered up from head to toe and how somehow a woman showing a part of her skin, in a bathing suit mind you was deemed profane and pornographic by this employee who in turn speaks for Staples which makes me assume that staples' policies are built on puritanical 1600's. I took my poster and left. I will not be returning to staples anytime soon. read more

So my customer at Staples in Iselin,NJ was pretty weird. I had this amazing supervisor names Brighton help me out and be so kind. He was super helpful. Ofc there is always that rude customer who is impatient. The customer was literally bullying him because he had to wait five minutes because Brighton was helping me and the reaction from Brighton was so positive. he was so respectful with that asshole. He kept calling him by sir...but I guess that asshole needs to get his life together and understand that there was only one person helping 6 people at the same time. People can be so oblivious and egoistic. You go Brighton. Sweetest guy ever and his customer service is top notch. Definitely recommend it. read more
