    Service was terrible & the floors and bathrooms are filthy, don't believe they ever clean the floors, totally a pig pen, won't be back

That laptop had not been used until recently and it was discovered that the Administrator and User accounts had somehow been merged together into a single User account, and a new Administrator account was created but never setup or configured. It was also just discovered that the "Safely Eject/Remove" USB was no longer working and the USB Drive could not be safely removed without risking corrupting data on that drive because of this issue. This laptop is also very slow and glitchy now and it was never like that before it was taken to Quentech. I was asked by my employer to take this laptop back to Quentch, explain the problems it's having, and see if they can fix it, even if additional payment would be required. While I was politely explaining all of the problems to whoever the guy was, he became extremely aggressive and hostile toward me. At one point he slammed his fist down on the counter so hard it bounced everything that was on that counter! He said "it's been a year, I don't know what you guys did to that computer' and refused to work on it stating "I will not touch that "G*d Damn computer". Numerous times I politely asked him why are you having such an aggressive and angry attitude toward me and he never replied. When I was getting ready to leave I reached my hand out over the counter as a peaceful gesture to shack his hand while I said I haven't done or said anything bad to you, I haven't accused you of anything, I'm not your enemy. Why are you being so aggressive and hostile toward me? As soon as I reached out to shake his hand he moved back very quickly, turned and stopped and looked down at the floor and said nothing at all. At that point I knew the discussion was over and the laptop Quentech worked on last year would have to fixed by someone else and I turned around and headed for the door just a few feet away. I stepped out the door and turned to pull the door closed and he was right behind me running like a crazed man with his hands up to slam the door on me as I was walking out, and he yelled as loud as he could "Get the f**k out" as he slammed the door. He yelled so loudly that people across the street and near the train station were looking to see what was going on. I have no idea what that guy's problem is but he seriously needs some kind of counseling or therapy before he physically attacks somebody which may have happened if I wasn't already out the door! In regards to the very clean and very nice photos here on Yelp representing this Quentch computer business, that actual business looks nothing at all like those photos anymore. When I was in there just the other day I was literally shocked at how cluttered up, disorganized and filthy this place is. This definitely is not the type of environment any computer should be opened and worked in! And as a word of advice, if for some reason you must go into Quentech in Princeton, Illinois, do not go alone because you might need a witness depending on what your outcome is! I know I'll never go to Quentech again, that was my first and last visit to them and I never want to be in that type of situation again! The best advice I can give, is stay away from this place and find a safer and cleaner environment to conduct whatever computer needs you have.

When I went to pick it up I was only charged the actual amount of time spent on my computer which was less than an hour. Wow, most companies charge the minimum of one hour but not here. They really take care of their customers. I will be bringing any further computer problems to Quentech!! Thank you!!

The name got bought by a man named Jake Adams, who is the current business owner. I originally had this place as a 2 star review, but after dealing with the current owner, Jake Adams, after I made my review, I marked it down to 1. He took my review off facebook and blocked me from it, so the only place I can remark on his outstandingly horrible customer service and professionalism is here on Yelp! I even left a 1 star review on another account, and he got it removed because "we had never had business together". He does this maintain a good appearance. In a nutshell, Jake Adams is very incompetent as a business owner & incredibly rude. He failed to fix my phone, and in the end, I had to order an all new one although he claims my phone was in perfect working order after he fixed my screen. Yes, he fixed my screen, but badly. It was flaking and coming off. I could fit my nail under it, and he completely ruined my camera lens where all my photos were foggy or had black specks of debris over them. His work is subpar for the prices he has and the time it takes to fix them. After the bad review, he also texted my mother, for some reason thinking her number was mine. I used her phone once to contact him and tell him I was going to pick up my phone. So after I had blocked him on facebook, he started to text her, and she kept saying she didnt know who he was, and he kept insisting she knew who he was and that he had a list and "she was on it". Who does that? Jake the fake should be his name…read more He replaced an IPhone 7 screen with a cheap one he later admitted he got off amazon, when it was picked up it wouldn't hold a charge. He then stated he would replace the battery and charged more. After weeks off having the phone it was obvious he wasn't going to fix it. I took it to a PROFESSIONAL and was told the cheap screen he replaced it with was causing the battery not to charge. When it was actually replaced correctly with the proper equipment found out he damaged the front camera. Ended up paying way more to fix the initial problem plus the ones he caused. He refused to refund!!!!
